Great service; very friendly, attentive and helpful with what they serve. If eating in, plan on arriving early to grab a spot bc it's a tiny storefront. They are closed Mon-Tues, and are only open from 11-3. No TVs, but there is music playing in background. There was steady foot traffic from what I assume are regulars (also Door Dashers), bc most seemed to know immediately what to order (YAY)! I always like to support local small businesses, and you should too, but I digress... The dining area is kitschy cool with a lot of play on Pilipino decor and tchochkies reminded me of a typical lola's home. Food was served up quickly. BC it was our first visit, we ordered more than our norm; started with 2 apps - veggie lumpia and the sinigang wings (Ma Sarap) which comes with small acharra (pickled veggies). We also ordered individual entrees. I had the pork adobo over rice, hubby had the pork sisig (IYKYK), over rice and daughter ordered the tapsilog plate. Everything was very tasty, but recommend less marinade time bc the proteins leaned toward saltier side (we do love our salt tho...). Daughter and I ordered the calamansi lemonade, hubby the mango juice, and bc we ate up everything, no room for halo-halo, but for sure the next time. Great Filipino food with good prices and portions. The restaurant is very small, they have 1 table for 2 and several bar seating area. The service was great, very friendly staff. They have a cute touch, they give your utensils and napkins inside a Spam can. We ordered the lechon kawali. very flavorful and has a perfect crunch. The bbq chicken was also good, but it may have been a tad bit too sweet for me. The next time, if I can get the sauce on the side, I will do it. I've been a fan of Spoon and Fork since they opened, it's a small restaurant but they pack a lot of flavor. Your best bet is to order take-out, but there are a few tables and some bar seating if you want to enjoy it while you're there. Everything on the menu is delicious, I always order the lumpia and calamansi juice, but try to try a new item on the menu each time I visit. Check out their social media for specials, they're always delicious. Everyone at the restaurant is really friendly too, so if you're not sure what to order feel free to ask them what they recommend. I've been craving some good Filipino food, and I finally found the spot! My hubby and I stopped by Spoon and Fork for the first time, and they did not disappoint! First, I have to mention the service. It was amazing! We had the chance to chat with the owner, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. That kind of hospitality alone is enough to make us come back. The restaurant is cute and welcoming. The right size to stop in for takeout or enjoy lunch there with a small group. Now for the food! We started with the pork lumpia, and let me tell you--it was FRESH fresh! It came out so hot we had to let it cool for a minute before taking a bite. It was perfectly crispy, packed with flavor, and paired so well with their homemade dipping sauce. For our main dishes, we ordered the BBQ chicken with white rice. The chicken was an easy 10/10! It had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors that kept you coming back for another bite, and the rice was cooked perfectly. We also tried the chicken pancit. The flavor was incredible, and it came out hot and fresh with plenty of delicious vegetables and tender chicken. I'd give it an 8/10 only because the bottom of the dish was a little oily. Rating this place 3.5 stars. I finally got a chance to check out Spoon and Fork after hearing about it from coworkers. This is a little hole in the wall on Broadway, next to the creole restaurant. I ordered a few dishes to get a taste of their menu. I ordered the tapsilog, pancit bihon, sinigang wings, and the sigsig. Pros: the wings were good and flavorful, fried just right. I really enjoyed the pancit, it was a pretty large order and I wished they offered a smaller size. The sigsig was ok, there wasn't anything that stood out about it. I didn't enjoy the tapsilog, it was dry and lacked flavor. Cons: parking is awful. There are so many spaces for street parking and they fill up fast. There's also a small parking lot between the creole restaurant and ramen place but it's very small. There's very little seating so it's not somewhere where I would dine in to eat. read more

I've been searching for great Filipino food in Sacramento, and I think I finally found it at Spoon and Fork! We walked in about 10 minutes before closing, and they still had everything available and happily took our order without making us feel rushed. We started with the chicken lumpia--no pictures because I couldn't wait to eat them! Take my advice and order the larger size. You'll wish you had more. My husband ordered the Tosilog, and the egg on top was cooked perfectly and made the whole dish even better. I had the Lechon Kawali with garlic rice instead of plain rice, and trust me... get the garlic rice! The mango juice was also the perfect pairing and helped balance the richness of the crispy pork. Woah, what the fork?!?! This place has some delicious grindz! The pork adobo was perfectly balanced between the vinegar and salty/sweet notes of the shoyu , definitely delicious. We were at a Filipino festival, but the lines were too long, so we decided to try Spoon and Fork out. Long story short, it was a great experience! Parking is pretty limited in the small lot behind the building, but there's plenty of street parking that's free. Spoon and Fork is a pretty small restaurant for dine-in, but seems to have fast turnaround. It took about 10 minutes for food to come out. Inside, it probably can seat about maybe 14 people. The menu is also pretty tight, but appropriate for the size of their restaurant, and the flavors of their dishes were great, with modern twists. We ordered the following: - Pork adobo - it had braised pork that was very flavorful, maybe on the side of saltier, so more rice would be good. - Pork sisig: Sisig pieces were a bit on the larger side than what I'm used to. Loved the over easy egg and the sauce on the side. I also enjoyed the char of the sisig. - Sinigang chicken wings: Lots of seasoning, a bit saltier, but it was delicious. The batter was SO crunchy, and came out very hot. - Chicken lumpia: Very solid! - Biko latte: This latte was interesting because it had pieces of sticky rice in there. I've been meaning to try this place and was in the area so it was convenient. It was difficult to find parking since it's on a busy main street. Parked around the corner which wasn't too far. The place is very tiny. There are only a few tables. When I went there wasn't anywhere to sit so we ordered to go. My husband and I ordered the longanisa and rice. It came with a little tomato and I think a sprinkle of salted egg. I wasn't sure what to do with the vinegar. The food tasted fine without it. We also ordered a halo halo. It was huge! After having "Spoon and Fork" bookmarked on Yelp for several months, I finally got the opportunity in giving this Filipino business a try. Located in the heart of Sacramento and directly on Broadway and in between 20th/21st St's, this wildly popular restaurant has been opened for business since the spring of 2025. As of early-2026, they are one of a small handful of Filipino businesses in the Sacramento area; a very warm welcome as I have eaten at other similar businesses in the Bay Area. I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 2/7/2026 at around 1:45pm. Parking can be hit-or-miss as your best bet would be to park on Broadway or nearby 21st St. The exterior shows their business name complete with the colors of the Philippines (red, white, blue, & yellow) and logos of a spoon and fork (hence the name of the business). Once entering, you will notice just how tiny this place is; only seating for about 8-10 guests max. However, my lady and I felt right at home as the husband and wife owners, Ray and Joanne Suavillo greeted us with open arms and a smile. In case you're wondering, Spoon and Fork's roots started from a lumpia truck that originally launched as Wandering Boba and eventually became a permanent brick-and-mortar restaurant. Since 2025, their Broadway location is used for indoor dining as well as pickup orders to-go. To those that once remember, this is where "Panda House" stood for many years (2008-2024) until Spoon and Fork eventually vacated that space (in May 2025). Their menu is extensively Filipino with traditional favorites such as chicken or pork lumpia, Calamansi or Sinigang chicken wings, and their Silog plates that come in either beef, sweet pork, sausage, or Spam. These plates come with garlic fried rice, salted egg salad, and an egg cooked over easy. Finally, you also have the option of ordering a rice plate that comes in either pork adobo, Sisig, pork belly, burger steak, or BBQ chicken. They also carry rice noodles and a small variety of Filipino desserts and juices. Since I wanted the true Filipino experience, I went with their "Tosilog" plate which was their sweet & savory pork dish. My lady went with their "BBQ chicken" rice plate. We received a pager that beeped when our plates were ready. The owner was very accommodating as he cleared the space for us to enjoy our meals inside of the business. I will say that my Tosilog plate was absolute perfection; the pork was tender and made very delicately. It paired up great with the garlic fried rice while the egg was the perfect balance in every bite. I also tried some of her BBQ chicken as this hit the spot with the spices and flavors. Normally, I wouldn't write such an extensive review on a business. But the high level of customer service, ambiance, and cozy vibes really made this place shine. Both Ray and Joanne continued to converse with us even with other customers waiting for their food. Best of all, their food hit all the high notes with the amount of unique flavors that are represented. Spoon and Fork has been on my try list for a while now and I finally got to try them last weekend. I was able to snag a parking spot right in front. It's a small place and I can see it can fill up quickly, very cute and clean inside. I ordered tosilog and sisig and we really enjoyed both plates. The sisig was especially good. The eggs were cooked perfectly and still nice and runny after the long ride home. I am looking forward to trying more dishes, as well as the biko latte which sounds so good! I spoke with one of the owners while I was waiting for my food and he was very friendly and all around nice guy. I love supporting local businesses like this one. I am torn about what actual rating to leave this restaurant. It is a hole in the wall, seemingly family owned, and everyone was really funny. I knew what I wanted, but I heard the employees answering many questions and offering suggestions to other customers. So, A+ for customer service. As an aside, I enjoyed the utensils being served in an empty Spam container. Now, the food. It basically was $20 for a plate of meat, rice, and a bottle of soda. I got the pork adobo...adobo being a flavor I've had before. Though seemingly high(er) in price, I was ready to enjoy. While cooked well and fork tender, the pork just tasted like it had been drenched in soy sauce. Not exaggerating....it was overly salty soy sauce smothered pork. Had it been other flavors breaking through, I may have a more positive review, but yeah...it tasted as if the pork were marinated, then braided for hours, in nothing but soy sauce. 5 STARS to everything!!! The tocilog brought me right back to my childhood in Daly City. I knew it was gonna be good once I tasted the garlic rice, which surprisingly is hard to get right, but they really nailed it being so perfectly garlicky to complement the sweetness of the tocino. The tapsilog was also excellent - my mom said it rivaled tapa she's had in the Philippines! The sinigang wings were so amazingly crispy and had a great sour kick. Lastly the Biko latte BLEW MY MIND. I thought it was a little bland, and the beef was a little tough. The lumpia was also mediocre. I've had lumpia from numerous places in SoCal and made by Filipino friends, so the ones here compared to those just didn't hit the spot for me. Bummer! Washing that down with their iced calamansi juice on a hot day was heavenly. The sisig didn't look like your traditional sisig but you know what? It was actually good. Not overwhelming or what we say, "Hindi nakakaumay." I give that two thumbs up. Here's my friendly criticism because I really want this place to last. $16 for sisig over rice. Not a huge portion either. The ingredients in that sisig are not hard to find and neither expensive. Tried out Spoon and Fork and really enjoyed the experience. The dining area is small with just a few seats, but the service was excellent and the staff were super friendly. I ordered the Tapsilog plate and it was cooked to perfection, authentic flavor and the garlic fried rice was amazing. The Chicken Shanghai lumpia were made fresh to order, served hot and crispy. I honestly didn't want to stop eating them, they were so flavorful. I also tried the Chicken Chicharron for the first time, and they were perfectly crispy and delicious. The Pancit Bihon was good too, though the dish was just not my favorite, but that's just personal preference. Overall, the flavors are authentic and everything tasted fresh. I love Filipino food and yall know I love the lumpia truck! This is their brick and mortar location and it is just as amazing as the truck! Great service , friendly smiles and yummy food! Everything was amazing , but my only regret was the pancit noodles --the only thing I've never had here --were like thin spaghetti noodles instead of glass noodles? Arrived on a Thursday for lunch - glad to see there was available parking in the lot behind the building. Staff was friendly, place was clean, much smaller than I expected. The place only seats about 12 people. Ordered the chicharon, tosilog, adobo, sisig, turon, and halo halo. I was excited to try this spot since there aren't many filipino good spots close by. Chicharon- perfect, not too salty, comes with a sweet chili vinegar dip and a white vinegar dip. Tosilog- not bad, as expected. Adobo- pork was soft, definitely could've added more sabaw, on the dry side. Sisig- hard pass on this next time. I've had many sisigs, pieces were too big, jalapeños took over the dish, lacking in citrus and could've used some mayo. Regretted not ordering the kawali as soon as I saw it. Turon- this was 2 pieces for $5. The banana was not ripe enough to pull out the sweet taste you expect from a turon, even with the caramel coating. Would not order again. HaloHalo- It had an adequate variety of tropical fruits/beans and the mango ice cream made the $9ish price point worth it. Leche flan would've made it memorable. Glad there's another filipino spot to highlight the beauty and the people of the islands! read more
