The place was 100% empty - albeit 2:00 PM on a Sunday. Had Yellow Curry with Tofu. Delicious and perfectly cooked - seasoned - and nice portion size. The shrimp and mixed veggies were probably the best; crunch veggies - nice size shrimp - tasty meal. The spring salad roll was superb - the nut sauce had a kick to it - nice touch. When I called to order takeout there was no answer. I got a voicemail that said they may be busy and to call back in a few minutes. Before I could try again they called me back! I thought that was pretty cool. The food was awesome. Super fresh, piping hot, and perfect portions. When we 1st got there it got busy right away and I thought for sure it was going to be a waiting game sence I only seen one waitress and they proved me wrong. Came here and tried the sticky rice and mango dessert for $6 EACH! Way too expensive for such a tiny, sloppy amount! Extremely disappointed! It wouldn't be so bad if there was more quantity for the value. What we got might be worth $3.95 MAX. Absolutely NOT worth $5.95 each! We came specifically for this to try and then potentially to come and try out more dishes, but sadly this left us with a bad first impression and we most likely won't be back. read more

Every time I crave Thai, this is the first place I go. It is fresh, delicious, and affordable! The gentleman that runs the place is a lovely guy. He is so kind and courteous. I normally go for a chicken pad Thai and it never disappoints. I recently switched to a plant-based diet and it was so easy to make adjustments and still get a hot, delicious plate of pad Thai. Best Thai or any Asian food in Dallas! Was pleasantly surprised! Loved the pad Thai, and the crab cheese wontons we're the best I've ever had anywhere! The peanut veggies could have had a little more kick and seasoning but still delicious (I look forward to trying the curries!). These two dishes and one side we're enough for two hungry adult's plus a enough leftovers for my lunch. Fast friendly service too (takeout). One could be forgiven if Dallas Oregon doesn't come to mind as a top Thai food place on the west coast, but Spoon N Folks is some of the best Thai I've had, and definitely the best in the surrounding area. A true hidden gem. I usually stick with either red curry or drunken noodles, but other things I've had before were great too. I doubt you will be disappointed. read more

Yum! This place is worth making a special trip. I found it by accident but will be driving an hour to come back just for the food. I especially love the fresh rolls, tom kha soup, pad Thai, and spicy beef salad. Looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but it is nice inside and the service was great. read more

I feel sorry for the resident of Dallas, OR as if they think this is good Thai food it means they dont get out much. This is not even Thai food, and I am not sure what kind of food it really is. Thai is my favorite food, I eat it in many places, and this is the worst I have ever had. The Tom Kha was thin, flavorless and tasted like canned cream of chicken soup with old mushrooms in it. I had the red curry which amazingly tasted exactly like the tom Kha with a little more spice. Curry is called Curry as it has Curry flavor. This tastes like milk with spices. I requested shrimp in my Curry. there were four nasty, obviously thawed, not fresh shrimp in my thin pink soup. Also there was about 1 pound of chunks of over cooked zucchini and no other vegetables. If this was meant for 2 people we would each get 2 shrimps for dinner. This is highway robbery and a misrepresentation of Thai food. Oh and the salad rolls! I asked for chicken and each roll had 1 small piece of tofu in it. Again stuffed with lettuce and zero flavor. Just awful. I am so sad that we cannot seem to get a decent Thai food place in dallas OR. I will NEVER go back, especially considering the cost for whatever you want to call this stuff. read more
