I'm so impressed with Spotless that I can't think of words to do them justice. I had a stain in my living room for a couple of years and I've had the carpets professionally cleaned at least three times. The stain kept coming back. I showed the stain to Demien (the owner) and told him it was a food stain. He asked me what kind of food had spilled and it occurred to me that none of the other carpet cleaners had asked me that. He assured me that even if they didn't get the stain out that they would come back and do it again. I walked them through the house and left them to their work. Juan was fast, thorough and very polite. I had company coming the next day so Demien left me a big fan to help dry the family room faster. I was very impressed with both Demien and Juan and the job they did. And, the stain did not come back! To be honest, I didn't expect them to get the stain out because no one else had been able to do it. But they did! Also, the cost was more than fair. I was expecting it be more and I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely call Spotless when it's time to have the carpets cleaned again. I'm so happy to have found them. PS... Fast forward five and a half years later. We've had people over to our house almost weekly for the entire time. There was a spot in the living room that had begun to grow, and the high traffic area between the kitchen and the living room was beginning to turn dark. Worst yet, our dying elliptical began dripping rust into the basement carpet without me noticing until it was too late. I finally got my act together and called Spotless for an appointment. They came on time after calling 15 minutes before they arrived, and they walked through the rooms I wanted cleaned. After warning me that rust was -very- difficult to get out of carpet, they got to work. Two hours later, I was looking at fresh carpet... AND NO RUST STAINS. They were also able to get out the other two major issues in the living room, and it looks amazing. Holy cows, these guys are good. Based on the yelp reviews, I called Spotless to come clean our rental carpets that had awful spots all over them from the previous tenants' dogs ... ick. The stains were bad. I tried to spot clean with some all-natural spray carpet cleaner which worked at first, but then the spots came back because the cleaner just left a residue that eventually got dirty again, and all flattened and yucky feeling. Anyway, Spotless did an amazing job of getting all the stains out!!! It's been a month and none of the stains have returned, there is no soapy residue! The texture and color of the carpet is so much better. They use environmentally safe products, which is awesome. I was home by myself but I felt totally comfortable with Damien and his assistant. They helped move the large furniture to get underneath it, then put it back. They were careful and quick - our 625 sq ft of carpeted areas took less than 1 hour 45 mins, from arrival to departure, including setup, cleaning and advice about carpet care. Spotless wasn't the cheapest quote I got -- but I know I made the right choice!! They did a great job the first time, it was fast and environmentally safe. I'd call them again in a second. read more

My son spilled a blueberry smoothie on our thick shag carpet. I thought there was no way that stain was coming out. I immediately 'yelped' for a carpet cleaner local to the Tri Valley area and saw the reviews for Spotless. Someone answered the phone right away and I got an appointment for the following morning. They were honest that it may not come entirely out but explained a few different methods they could try. After the first attempt was not perfect they tried another method which could take up to 24 hours for the stain to dissolve but they felt pretty good it would come out. The next morning the stain was totally GONE. Friendly, professional and did a great job. Highly recommend. read more

Demien and his company provided EXCELLENT carpet care as well as OUTSTANDING customer service. Due to extreme dog stains, Spotless treated the area and because I thought the smell was lingering from the treatment, Demian came back to treat the area again. In the meantime, I learned that our dog had had another accident so I explained this to Demien upon his arrival and he insisted on cleaning the area regardless at no charge. Demien was flexible with scheduling, completely informed about his work and humble (i had to ask who the owner was because I wanted to write the owner a positive note about the great work as well about Demien--he then had to tell me he was the owner. Spotless is a fantastic local business that provides top notch service. Owner Damien is friendly, knowledgeable and does high quality work. We have used Spotless twice, once for the travertine tile floors in our kitchen and then for carpet cleaning. I was very happy with the results for both. Our kitchen floor was heavily soiled by years of cooking. But after Damien was done, the floor was noticeably brighter and refreshed. The same was true of our carpet which required a deep clean after various spills and just every day living with three young kids. The owner explained everything to me, gave my an upfront price, not the cheapest service, but the results made it a great value. I had been used to paying less and getting little, I now pay a fair price and get a lot more than I expected. The carpets and sofa looked GREAT!!! He said he cleans marble floors too, and I will be having them do that before the holidays. I will never use another cleaner other than Spotless. I've got a dog who gets the floors really dirty. Damien came by and gave me a quote. Damien got my tile and grout looking brand new. Damien took a lot of time to get everything looking good and made several passes on the floor with the heaviest foot traffic to get everything looking right. He also worked with my schedule when I had to make a last second run to the airport at the start of the window when he was supposed to arrive. I also like that he gave me a set of after care instructions to help keep the floors looking this good for a long time. Damien is more expensive than a lot of the other floor companies out there, but he is far and away the best I've had. I'd rather pay a little more and get much better floors than try to save a few dollars and have a much lower quality cleaning. read more

Beware: this company overcharges by charging for the square footage your furniture is on, and have the attitude that they are just too busy to care about new clients and overall customer satisfaction. Here's my experience... I called Spotless rather than my usual carpet cleaning guys in hopes to get a deeper clean, and based on all the Yelp reviews, they were the company to try. So I called for an appointment and was disappointed to learn their first available slot was two weeks away, But I took it knowing it will be worth the wait. I also wanted to get an estimate of cost, so I used an invoice from our last two carpet cleaning jobs to tell the lady on the phone the square footage in all of our rooms. She gave me a quote of $370. This was over $100 more than my last 2 carpet cleaning jobs, but I was willing to pay more for what was sure to be a fabulous cleaning! The day of my appointment finally arrived and the 3 men who showed up were super nice as we walked through the house to discuss any stains on the carpet. Once measurements were made, I was told the cost would be $630. Whoa! I know measurements can vary, and that my original estimate was just that, but $260 over the expected price ($360 over my other cleaning company's price) was a bit much. When I asked for a breakdown of their footage, the nice man showed me, and sure enough he had over 300 sq ft difference. Then he explained to me that they calculate wall to wall measurements, and do not deduct the square footage where your furniture is. What? So, you charge for space you're not cleaning? Yep. After I sent the kind men away, I called Spotless and spoke to the same woman I spoke to originally. I apologized for having to turn the men away but explained to her that the difference in cost was just too much for me. When I asked her why they charge for carpet cleaning where the furniture is, she said because it's harder to clean around the furniture and to be as careful as they need to be so not to damage the furniture. Huh? So you charge for cleaning the entire space because it's just so difficult to work around large pieces of furniture?? I've never heard such an inane business practice. And she knew I was using another carpet cleaning service's square footage for my original estimate. perhaps she could have told me about this ridiculous policy and saved all of us from wasting our time?? But she never offered an apology for the misinterpretation of her original estimate, or the inconvenience of waiting at home for my scheduled appointment window, not to mention all of the preparation that goes into having your carpets cleaned. She didn't even offer to discount the cost of the job to show some effort at better business practices. And to top off my experience with the company, she told me not to apologize for having to turn the men away. "No worries," she said. "I'm sure they were leaving your house saying 'Yay! We don't have to do a job this afternoon!'" WOW. So I guess when they're busy, you're just a number in their book, and not someone they should care about. So, unfortunately I can't rate this company on their work, as I didn't get to see it. But based, on their policy to charge you for square footage they're not cleaning, and their lack of concern for customer satisfaction and retention, I gave them the lowest rating possible. read more

Damien and another worker cleaned our carpets a couple of months ago. They moved floor lamps and tables themselves and put protective paper under chair and table legs when they were done. They worked very hard and did a fantastic job on our carpets (which I'm embarassed to say had not been cleaned in a few years). The carpets still look great a couple of months later. TEN STARS if I could!! We have been using Spotless for about ten years now!! We were well overdue for a carpet cleaning after our long rainy winter (& 3 dogs!) and once again, I can't believe how clean he got the carpet, it is seven years old, and now looks new again, it almost sparkles! He recently got a newer machine which not only deep cleans but he can get the carpet almost dry by the time he leaves. Damien is very professional and his number one focus is customer service. He takes the extra time to work on any problem areas, and explain to you what he will do, and will go out of his way to make sure you are happy. He will also encourage you to call back if any stains re-appear, (which I've never had to do). He is very knowledgeable about how to remove different stains. He has come to our rescue more than once over the years for emergencies, such as a chewed up black sharpie that left a big black ink stain on our oatmeal colored carpet!! I thought we were going to have to replace the carpet as it turned bright purple, and he was able to almost completely remove it, it is only barely visible right after a new cleaning! Really impressed with their customer service. I recently got a puppy that had a couple accidents on my carpet. There were also 'dirty paw prints' in my beige area rug. They came and cleaned. Very nice guy. Rugs looked much better but not all the stains came out. So I called them again to see if they could come back. The whole point of paying for the area rug and carpets to be cleaned was to remove the few stains I had. They were more than happy to send someone out again. They didn't make me feel bad, they weren't annoyed. The 2nd guy was so accommodating. He listened and educated me about the different stains. After 'brainstorming' together he choose the right shampoo and got the remains stains out PLUS HE DOUBLE CLEANED THE WHOLE AREA RUG AGAIN! We figured out the stains were not just dirt from the dogs paws but from food stains and Greene from the bully sticks out dog chews on! read more

We were extremely satisfied with the carpet cleaning job done by Spotless. The customer service was exceptional and the carpet hasn't looked this nice in years! The tech was friendly, used guards to protect our bannister and walls and made sure to place protective layers under furniture legs. "We want to exceed your expectations"- said the owner of "Spotless" when he came to my house to give me an estimate on cleaning my carpets and tile. I thought to myself- that's a pretty bold statement, considering my carpets had been practically destroyed mainly from having a puppy that never really got the concept of being potty trained, but also just life. We are not the kind of people that have guests take off shoes to come into our house. We fully LIVE in our house and by that I mean we're not neat freaks, and truth be told- kind of messy. So when I called Spotless to come out for a quote, I never could have imagined that every single spot of every kind was taken out of the carpet. That's right, EVERY SINGLE SPOT. I always have high expections of professionals that come into my house, I expect good service, a fair price and courtesy- but getting out EVERY single spot? I'm still getting over the shock of how amazing and clean our house looks, and could kick myself for not calling them earlier. I called a few places to get quotes, this place was not the cheapest quote I got but I'm glad I chose them. They were able to clearly explain on the phone how they were going to do the job. I got an email with my appointment on it with the quote as well. Two workers showed up on time explained again what they were doing and how it was going I work. I have a baby and a few pets so it was important to me what chemicals they were going to use. When they were done they gave us a bill that was cheaper than their initial quote! They even sent the receipt via email. I got a nice phone call afterwards saying if I had any questions to call them back. They were very pleasant to work with and it was painless process. Most importantly I would use them again in the future. You always see people who write "I never review anything but," I was very pleased with this company and actually wished that I had more than one carpeted room in my house. read more

Just had the Spotless team come and tackle our amazingly dirty tile floors and grout. They did an AMAZING job and were so nice. We have a lot of tile and they spent the better part of the day cleaning it thoroughly. I never thought it could look so good and the cost was VERY reasonable given what they did.
