I've been going to Spring Cleaners for 2 years , since we moved into the neighborhood. Their prices are better than all of the other cleaners in the area once you factor in the coupons I get from my Ralph's receipt! Issa the owner is always friendly and welcoming, and they actually do a great job on the our clothes. No complaints, neither on the cleaning nor pressing, and for me the location is most convenient. I often have to pick up on Saturday because of long work hours, and Issa's Saturday employees are just terrific, the girls behind the counter are so sweet.. always.. This business is 2 for 2 for screwing up. First it was an alteration that I needed done. It was on uniform items that needed to sow some insignia on, I gave them pictures of exactly how it was suppose to be done and wrote notes. It was screwed up, they said, don't worry we will fix it. Nope, the second time it was wrong again. Wow. Pretty bad. Then the owner said after the second time that they wouldn't fix it again. Fast forward about a year later, I dropped off 2 shirts to be dry cleaned and ready for tomorrow. I had a wedding to go to in San Diego. I come to pick it up and they don't have them ready/don't even know where there are! Sweet, now I have to buy another dress shirt. Would not recommend them, best part was horrible customer service from the worker. She just says, "do you need it tonight?" "we can't find it" "it's not ready" no sorry, no sympathy. She did say that when I come back, we will figure it out, implying a discount or a comp. My whole thing is if you can't do it properly or on time say no and I'll go to another place down the street. read more

Super great people run this place, but the "care" you get can be lacking. I lived in Westchester for a year and these guys were my steady-eddy. However, they lost a $150+ Tommy Bahama shirt and I have to say, their response was like "meh... sorry dude". And that was from the owner. The woman who runs the joint when he's not around actually made me feel like she was making an effort to find the shirt, but... It never turned up. At no point did they extend an offer to credit me for the value of the lost shirt. Just a perpetual "let me look again, I'll call you if I find it". smh Also, in the year I had my dry cleaning done there, they ruined 2 other shirts. One came back with multiple burn marks on it. The second was torn on the shoulder where the metal hanger ends... looked like a friction wound. Both were $130 custom tailored dress shirts. I do feel like they are super friendly and cool people, so I was willing to overlook the flaws. read more

The owner is wonderful. He's friendly and really cares about customer service. But the actual product is poor. I don't know if he can't find good people, or doesn't supervise them, or what. TWICE I've gotten items back with new stains on them - once it was something that they washed and pressed for me, and the hot presser made the colors run. Once it was a lovely white silk shirt that apparently was dry cleaned with dark clothes, which left little black dots on everything. They offer tailoring, but don't have a tailor onsite and don't have a proper fitting room. The tailor ruined some very nice pants that I wanted shortened. Isa, the owner, did his best to make everything better each time. All the staff is friendly and nice. But after the white silk shirt I'm just not risking my clothes there any more. read more

Very unprofessional owner and the work quality is very poor. I was promised a particular fee for using their services but was over charged every time. It took a few experiences to realize that not only were they not honest but the quality was also very poor. My shirt literally had all the stains that I turned it in with left on it when it was delivered. The owner didn't even care to apologize for delivering my shirt in such poor condition and just simply said "I'll dry clean it." Needless to say it was dry cleaned with only slight improvement. I took the shirt back to my original dry cleaners and it was delivered in perfect condition. I should have realized that the owner's lack of integrity would reflect on the quality of service provided. read more

I cannot say enough about how wonderful these folks are! Almost Three years ago I was getting married. For those of you who live in Westchester and did in March of 2008 you may recall an electrical explosion that result in the loss of a Los Angeles County Fire Fighter. Well every business in the immediate area lost power for more than a day. My wedding dress was at Spring Cleaners, along with my husband's suit and our kids' clothes for the wedding as well. The wedding was on Friday and the power was out on Wednesday. I needed some of the items for my rehearsal dinner on Thursday evening. Well, Issa the owner of Spring Cleaners remember this fact at 5:00 AM on Wednesday morning. He went to the cleaners and found all of our items in the dark. He took them to another cleaners. Once everything was pressed and altered, he delivered them to our door. This is beyond what I consider to be good customer service. I am a loyal customer for life. I have myself convinced if I moved out of area, I would still travel to Issa and Spring Cleaners to have all my dry cleaning and alterations. So YES - this business is as good as it gets! read more

I brought in a couple of items aprox. a month and 1/2 ago, both items pretty expensive a Calvin Klein pea coat and a Superdry brand sweater. I picked the items and hung them on my closet for a while without checking them, I never had problems with them before and have brought clothes there before plus the company I work for uses their services all the time. I realized a few days later that my sweater was missing the belt, I called the next day and the lady over the phone told me to bring it back and she would look for it. I didn't get a chance to take it for her to see it until today (from 2 weeks back) I walked in and the usual girl, (she is normally very nice) wasn't there but a very inconsiderate and rude man, when I told him what happened he started having an attitude and telling me it has been too long etc. He was acting annoyed, it's so upsetting as if it's my fault they lost the belt of my $200 sweater (that I love!) I got very upset and told him to find my belt or I would be happy to give him the website so he could order me the exact sweater! the worse part is that this horribly rude jerk was not an employee but the owner of the cleaners. I had to argue for him to at least take a picture of the sweater so they would know what to look for, it's simply unacceptable!! read more

Always fast, always friendly and always done right. I have been going here since they were in the last location and truly appreciate how easy they make the process. They have my credit card, so I don't have to waste time by paying on every pickup. I just drop off my stuff, it's ready when they say it will be ready and I walk in and pick it up. They have even delivered cleaning to my house, when I couldn't make it to the store. They have had the same staff for years, so I don't even have to give them my name. read more

I am a huge fan of this place. I happned across it one day because my son saw the bubble gum machine in the window and I went in to buy him one. The owner Issa was at the front desk and what a nice guy he is. Super friendly and warm. From that day on I have been taking my clothes to Issa. I have never been disappointed in the results. In fact, I have taken things there that I thought were not cleanable and they have been able to make things look like new again. Everyone there is always so nice. This guy charges way too much! I brought in some shorts and a dress and they couldn't get a stain out! I took it to another dry cleaners and they were much more reasonable in price and got the stain out! The guy that owns this place can take some communication courses , because the way he talks to clients I doubt they will be referring his cleaners to their friends.. Bad overall experience. I dropped off 4 items for cleaning, a sweater, 2 jackets and a dress. I also had 2 brand new jackets that just needed to be pressed. The jackets, all 4, had pressed creases on the sleeves. Really? It's amateurish and reminiscent of a job done with an iron in the kitchen. Sadly, one of the two new jackets had a 4 inch snag across the upper arm, irreparable damage. I went back to the store shortly after getting home and discovering the problems, within minutes actually, but was basically dismissed by the woman on duty. We agreed the damage couldn't be fixed, but she suggested that it would be my word against theirs that the damage wasn't there to begin with. I'd have to take it up with the owner in the morning. Right. I know her hands were tied, but why would I bother after a warning like that. It's just disappointing. Bottom line - if you value your clothes enough to have them cleaned, find another cleaner. Being able to park at the curb for convenience just isn't worth it. read more

I have been using this cleaners for over 6 years I will say. I brought some items in to be cleaned one day. When I picked them up one of my silk jackets had been torn from under the arm pit to the other sleeve area. I had about 4 shirts/blouses that had elastic around the sleeve and neither one had elastic when I picked them up. A creme colored pant suit that had more stains that I would like to mention on them. They just pressed my dirty clothes and gave them back and I paid them to do it. Never again. I inquired about this a couple of days later because I just took them home and put them in the closet. This was their response, "how long have you had your clothes?", what does that matter I asked. They weren't like this when I brought them to be cleaned, so why do you need to know that. When you put them in you assume they will be cleaned when you pick them up. NOT! I don't understand how they are still in business. They never offered to put the elastic back in the shirts, they told me they couldn't pay for my jacket because they know if there was hole in in when I brought it in. Now everyone knows, if you have stains, holes, etc. They will mark them. Nothing. So If I was you I wouldn't leave my clothes there. read more

This cleaner will screw up your clothes, clean dirty clothes even that have been told where the particular spots are. The first time I didn't check until I got home that the dirt stain has been pressed and not removed on a black and white blouse. Said to bring it back and they would get it out. This didn't happen. Twice my clothes weren't ready and had to wait. Another time one piece of clothing was missing couldn't be found. But it was more than one piece missing, one they found and the other they don't remember receiving. Which is not true. I now have one white cotton jacket worn twice gone. But this was the last straw, brought a white wool jacket to be cleaned and pointed out the spots across the shoulder where some wine had been spilled and asked are they good with working with whites and wine stains and they said that could resolve this particular problem. A son and mother were the only ones working at this time. I was assured by both mother and son that it would be no problem. Upon picking up my coat, the stain was still there and the lining in my coat below the neck was scorched and breaking apart. I check all of this before leaving the cleaners. I told the mother and son that my coat's lining was not scorched and tearing apart. The mother said she tried cleaning the jacket twice, but couldn't get the wine spots out and feared doing it again because it may ruin the material of the jacket. I asked to see the Manager, who came out with a bad attitude when I discussed my issues about my cleaning, especially my coat. He told me some ridiculous shit like my hair sweating made my lining breakup like that and it was like that when I brought it in and there are no guarantees on cleaning certain things. Well it is if you have asked before hand if they can. I came to this cleaners because it was closer to home after retiring. I ask the manager if he would compensate me for my jacket lining he said no and kept to the lame excuse of my jacket being like when I brought it and other pieces that I have brought in that there were no guarantees on getting spots out. You don't bring your clothes to a cleaners who ruins your clothes, loses pieces, can't find one or two of your garments upon pickup. People in general look at their clothes before taking them to the cleaners all the obvious reasons mentioned and for longevity. You a manger that talks to you like you don't have a brain. He had no remorse on resolving the situation nor does he want to compensate you because according to him your garments came in like that. It didn't matter to him that his employees has told the customer that they can resolve the problem. Didn't want to hear about missing garments, it never happen.I now go back to my previous cleaner which is in Manhattan Beach who takes care of you clothes regarding spots, respect the quality of clothes, don't have missing pieces from what you brought in. And they always resolve your issues. This cleaners has bad Management customer service and doesn't care about the customer complaints. Maybe others get special treatment and they go the mile to make things happen for certain individuals, but I doubt it. it just what they're putting in that cleaners is mostly laundry, small things. But it will eventually happen. As far as that manager is concern, they have plenty of business and so what if they lose a few.
