Half of egg and cheese on crossiant
    Hafsa M.

Overpriced for no reason. Picked up a egg and cheese on crossiant for 4.99. I was expecting a decent size sandwich.. it was small, the bottom was burnt and barley and egg in it. Then there was a sign posted that 5 is the minimum for credit cards, understandable. I picked up a roll of candy (it was small). It was 2.99!?!?!?!?. Then I started asking the prices. Everything was more then double the price. Nothing was labeled and it honestly looked like the clerk was making up the prices as it goes. Never again going here.

It was bland but they have Sriracha and hot sauce so heh

Wish they had the hot bar ready (it's 9 am!) but they didn't so I had to order an Omelette. It's fine. Place is clean, they are polite.

Little cafe located in the Inova Healthplex.

I really wish they would…read moreconsider updating their Chicken Caesar to be like the one at the Bailey's Crossroads location which makes a Caesar salad with warm marinated chicken. However, I recently stopped by to get my free dessert (after answering a survey), and I chose the Sacher Torte which is a chocolate cake filled with raspberry jam (sometimes apricot), iced with chocolate mousse, and covered in chocolate ganache. I have to say it was incredibly fresh and delicious! If you like chocolate, this would have definitely hit the spot! Pro Tip: Always ask for your receipt! If you take the survey on the receipt within 3 days, you will receive a code for a free dessert that you can pick up within 30 days.

It was rich, warm, creamy and absolutely perfect. But unfortunately, the cashier single-handedly dimmed the experience. There were four of us dining on a Saturday morning, and we placed a pretty solid order of entrées, beverages, pastries... the works. Despite that, the cashier greeted every simple request with the strongest attitude I've seen before 10 a.m. We asked for our cookies in a bag instead of on a plate, we got an attitude. We asked for one order of the eggs to be cooked a specific way, we got an attitude. I ordered extra croissants, and she put them on a plate instead of in a bag... and somehow I still got the attitude. Long story short: the food was excellent, the hot chocolate was perfection, the other staff was friendly/helpful, but the customer service was giving "absolutely not." I hope this was just an off day, because everything else deserved five shining stars.

Why'd it take me so long to visit this place?! It's awesome!…read more Service was fast and friendly Great seating options and a good spot for remote work (a bit loud so noise cancelling headphones recommended) Fun latte selections I tried the BAKLAWA MOCHA with oat milk. It wasn't too sweet and held a perfect blend of walnut, rose, and orange bloom. Very creamy and enjoyable There is also a great selection of savory bites, sandwiches, and pastries I decided to try the SFEEHA and that was soooooooo good! The flavors were nothing short of delectable Can't wait to return!

First of all, the woman with gray hair and several tattoos was beyond obnoxious to us and she should have a talking to by management. It wasn't busy when we were ordering, and we had a few questions because it was our first time there, and she was just nasty about...everything. Why she works in customer service is beyond us. Let's talk about what we really loved: the hibiscus karkade and mish mish soda nonalcoholic drinks were so delicious. They were refreshing without being too sweet, which was perfect for the swelteringly hot day. The levantine pickles were interesting and a good crunch start to the meal, but the smashed cucumbers were just gross. You could tell that they had been sitting for a while (possibly over a day) because they were slimy and mealy and the whole thing was drowning in liquid. You got zero taste of the scallion oil. The hummus was great, as was the lamb leg "cheesesteak," which was completely unique and special. Finally, the shatta batata were also quite original, and we appreciated the spices and insanely-addictive dipping sauce. Here's what we hated: the hummus, pickles, and cukes were all served in to-go containers. We get that this place is casual, and maybe it makes sense for the veggies, but the hummus container had literally HALF of the dip carved out--and it cost $10! We feel like we got what we paid for with the $22 "cheesesteak," but the tots (served in a bag) were $13. The pricing just seemed way off for what you actually ended up getting... ...which was especially the case with the two soft serves that we tried, the baklawa labne and the tahini oat. They were wonderful and creamy and, again, unique, but with the added surcharge and the (undeserved) tip, they came to over $25. We're kind of a mixed mind about this place. Like, some dishes were really, really good, but the value was not there and the service was beyond off-putting. Not sure if we'll be back again. Maybe.

You truly cannot go wrong with any of their options. Be warned it does get packed on weekends and I understand why. There are lots of seating with plenty of outlets to study at. Ordering is done at the counter, and the process was quick and easy. The staff taking orders were friendly and helpful, and our food was brought out very fast despite the lunch crowd. My husband and I both had the ham and cheese sandwiches. They were good, although nothing especially memorable. The desserts, on the other hand, were delicious. We also picked up a couple of muffins along with an iced tea and coffee. One thing that really stood out was the huge selection of desserts, danishes, cookies, teas, coffees, and other drinks. There was plenty of indoor seating plus a few outdoor tables, so it never felt cramped. The only disappointment was that there were no free refills on the iced tea, which is what kept this from being a five-star visit for me. On the plus side, we signed up for the loyalty program and were pleasantly surprised to earn a free pastry from just this visit. Since we don't live in the area and probably won't be back anytime soon, that was a nice unexpected bonus. Overall, it's a solid spot with friendly service, great desserts, and plenty of seating.
