Customer service was horrible. Came to get a treat on Mother's Day and ordered 3 cookies and was paying and a worker came out saying my family and I couldn't be served until we got a mask. I was putting my credit card in the machine to pay. She refused to let us order inside without a mask. Absolutely ridiculous masks are not mandatory in Texas. I was already paying why would I stop after waiting for 5 minutes to order and go back in the line to get a mask to come back up to pay?! I placed a curbside pickup order at Plano Sprinkles on Friday, Aug. 20. The process was so easy and seamless. Our delivery person (sorry, don't remember her name) was positive and very friendly. Cupcakes are definitely not as good in the Plano Location compared to the Dallas one. We ordered the s'mores, red velvet and choc marshmallows cupcakes. The graham crackers on the Smores was pathetic. Not like the ones in Dallas that has way more of the graham cracker crust. Red velvet and choc marshmallow cakes were dry and the marshmallows tasted stale. We love Sprinkles and we were so excited when we found out a Plano location was opening. I have always loved sprinkles cupcakes and I make it a point to stop in anytime I am in the Dallas area. A few months ago, I stopped in and the cupcakes were subpar. Because I am such a huge fan, I naïvely assumed that they were just having an off day. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I gave them another try this past Thursday. Since I am from out of town, I bought a box of six. I am not exaggerating when I say, every cupcake was old, stale, over baked and dry. This, unfortunately, was in line with the way the cupcakes were baked a few months ago. I am realizing now that this company is resting on its laurels and the quality of the cupcakes here have gone down significantly over the last couple of years. I will not be back. In my opinion, when all you sell and specialize in is cupcakes, it should be the best cupcake every single time. Although it was dry, the cupcake itself wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't worth the price. In my opinion I can find a much better cupcake elsewhere, not to mention for $1-$1.50 less than what I paid at Sprinkles. Customer service was also less than. I stood in line for 15 minutes and there were only 3 people in front of me. I'd highly recommend that instead of making the boxes at the same time that you're helping the customer, you make them beforehand so you can grab and go and you don't lose customers due to long, unnecessary wait times. Hands down the worst customer service of my life! I got a chocolate peanut butter cupcake and was confused as to why the cupcake part itself looked and tasted more like a chocolate chip one than anything remotely close to peanut butter. I went in to ask a few days later and the employee cut one of the chocolate peanut ones open- told me that is how they are and tossed it in the trash! No apologies, nothing! I was hopeful because the store was so cute looking and it was the first time I had seen or tried a Sprinkles and clearly will be my last! I'm again really disappointed with my experience at this location. I went to do the vending machine because you could receive a coupon for your next in store purchase. The vending machine was empty except red velvet & chocolate so we went into the store to ask and they told us it would be an hour wait and they couldn't honor the offer in stores even though the vending machine was pretty much empty. I personally think it's bad customer service but I blew it off until the employee helping me started getting an attitude and acting like I was bothering him. I placed my order, again bothering him so much that he messed it up and because they give you your cupcakes after payment, I had to reorder which irritated him even more. After checking out the second time he was rushing me off before the payment had even processed. If I'm going to spend $4 on a dry, flavorless cupcake and not get the promotion I came for the service needs to be a lot better especially in the high end part of town such as legacy west. read more

The location is really nice and the workers were kind and polite. Unfortunately the cupcake I got had a somewhat hard frosting on top which made me think the cupcake was pretty old and not fresh. It was about 30 minutes before it closed and I can understand that maybe the cupcakes were made earlier in the day hence the hard shell on the frosting. I got the banana cupcake and it tasted pretty damn good just not as sweet as I like, my husband got the black and white. The frosting was good and the chocolate cupcake itself was so light and just melted on your tongue. LOVE Sprinkles cupcakes. I went in twice for the special Hot Cheeto cupcake they were promoting for a few days. They didn't have it either time. They had sold out when I went the first time in the middle of the afternoon so I made sure to go in the morning the next day and they just hadn't made any yet. Just hadn't made any yet? Maybe they should have been made before you opened? I don't know. I get that specialty stuff sells out but to just not have made them first thing in the morning -especially since it IS a promotional product that won't be available later -just seems silly. Location tiny, cupcakes not as fresh (hard frosting separates from cupcake base when trying to pick up out of box), cupcakes smaller in size, and customer service a bit "blah". Parking is tricky if you want anything remotely close to store. Store not as clean and employees a bit sloppy in cupcake box assembly. Went twice to give it a fair chance but I think we're back to making a further drive to original Dallas location if we have a Sprinkles craving. read more

What a cute little spot. This location is in Legacy west right across from Shake shack! There is an outside patio area to sit and enjoy your cupcake. There is a cupcake ATM at the side of the building which has about under ten common cupcake flavors and a cookie. There are more inside but if you don't want to wait in the line then this is your best option. I would've liked to try the coconut but that was not an option outside. The frosting is good but not great. The cake, I've had more moist. It was a little on the dry side for me. read more

I had low expectations as cupcakes can be pretty dense and just heavy. I admit I only tried their chocolate cream filled cupcake but it was seriously delicious. It had a deep dark chocolate type of flavor (milk chocolate lovers, don't worry you just gotta try it), fluffy and not overly sweet filling, and a nice ganache icing on top which was also not overly sweet. This is a place where you order at the counter. Everyone was really nice and welcoming and the guy at the counter said, "let me know if you have any questions about our flavors" and he happily answered the few questions I had. When I'm in the area again, I'm definitely gonna stop by to try out more flavors. I'm especially interested in what their lemon cupcake taste like but they didn't have it as I'm sure it's seasonal. Horrible! Worst cupcakes I have ever had!!!!!! First time I went I got the dark chocolate with white icing. Dry as cardboard. Felt like I was eating sand. However every time I drove by it was crowded, so I went back again thinking it may just be the flavor. I got red velvet my favorite cake flavor and again was dry. It's like eating a sponge it just absorbs any semblance of moisture in your mouth. Even walmart's cupcakes are better.
