Sprouts Farmer's Market has been here for years and years. I've stopped in a handful of times when they first opened if I was in the area. Decent sized store. Good deals, great selection. I got two packs of strawberries for $7 and the grapes were $2.77 but all sold out. The bread and produce section are interesting as well as the medicine. Near the managers office next to the medicine, there's a discount pantry with a bunch of multivitamins and make up products so be sure to check it out. Workers seemed tired but I don't blame them! We went close to closing at 10pm. read more

The other day I had came into the store and was headed towards the back. As I was walking, a worker that was sweeping the floor popped out of one of the aisles and we almost collided. As a reflex I said "oh excuse me" and tried to dodge the broom. Not only did he not acknowledge me or say anything, but he didn't even skip a beat. He kept sweeping at the heels of my feet without even a pause, as I was trying to rush out of his way. Maybe he was annoyed that customers are in the store during working hours while he's sweeping.. but I'm surprised because I didn't expect to be herded like a cow through the store. read more

I had such a great experience with the meat department at Sprouts. John, the manager, was super helpful and went out of his way to answer my questions and made sure I found exactly what I needed. The department was clean, well-organized, and fully stocked. Very different from other locations I've visited in the past. The food: fine. The prices: fine. The customer service from the cashier: some people don't belong in customer service. I went to put my groceries on the conveyer belt where I saw he was literally finishing checking out another customer and he's like..."other side where there is no closed sign". There was no sign. I pointed it out and he quickly threw the sign onto the belt. OK...whatever. I went to the other side and he was not any nicer. I've always had them bag my groceries and I'm always at Sprouts. So he's like..."you need bags? They are right there." Now is there something wrong with what he said? Technically, no. It's the delivery. I started out polite with my pleases and thank yous and the end of the transaction I was heated. Love the store, everything else is great, I adore one of the lady cashiers (the one with bright eyeshadow/liner). It's just this one fool with the glasses. I don't know if some people have lost their minds with the recent political changes, if they just had a bad day or whatever, but I hope they will change their tone in the future. ​​If I wanted attitude from an older person, I'd go visit family. read more

I bought vitamins earlier this week and they didn't sit well with my stomach not thinking that I would have to return my item I threw away the receipt. I still came back to return the items except the cashier told me that I couldn't return an item without my receipt. I asked to speak to the manager and a lady named Britany approached me. She told me she was the manger so I explained the situation to her, she asked me a couple questions before telling me she would be back shortly. When Britany returned she offered me a full refund and asked what I was using the product for, she was kind enough to show me to the vitamins and offer me some other options we spoke for a short time I ended up buying more vitamins she also apologized for the inconvenience and made my day this is excellent customer service thank you for your help Britany! read more

Terrible experiences with their use of Instacart for delivery. They use delivery people who c ommunicate both written and verbal ONLY IN SPANISH. Not the person's failing but it is Instacart repeatedly screwing up delivery because they don't succeed in delivering because they can't read instructions or communicate with the purchaser. Sprouts needs to find another method and dump Instacart. Sprouts products are OK but delivery is TERRIBLE; do not order from them. read more

Ample parking, daily grocery needs. Everyone working at Sprouts in Sunnyvale is so so helpful and this is not just one time experience i go to Sprouts atleast once per week. They have everything you will need for your daily life and that too good quality. I called the store to check availability on my favorite chips and they took the time to search for it for me and told me that they have 4 packets. I rushed and was able to get all four! My favorite place to get groceries in the area! Their produce is excellent and I've found their "Sprouts" brand dinner items to be high quality with no long ingredients lists filled with food colorings and preservatives. Today I went to this location and I had a amazing experience, every worker I came in contact with was very hospitable, when I had a question or needed help with something I was met with welcoming smiles and kindness. The store was very clean, and the aisles were very organized. Ordered our precooked Thanksgiving Turkey dinner from Sprouts Farmers Market online (note: you can only order this online. In store is not available at this time) . It was easy and convenient. My designated store for pick was the Sunnyvale location. Not impressed by the location area. Parking is good but the area makes you feel a bit unsettled. Service was good except the cashier was confused if to charge us or not . Poor communication between online service and local pickup service. Told her the email said they will charge my card at pickup. Eventually, it was straightened out and I didn't need to pay at her register. Now, for the food... The Turkey was excellent (far better than Whole Foods !). Seasoned and moist. Easy heat up instructions but I suggest you have a turkey cooking type pan. Condiments were also good and I didn't have to pay for the green beans which taste horrible from Whole Foods. As to cost, it was very reasonable for what you got. We bought additional items from Spouts to make our Thanksgiving Dinner a success ! Definitely, will order again and far better than Whole Foods in both taste, quality, and cost ! read more

I am saddened by the fact that Cupertino sprouts is closing! That's been my go to sprouts for the past 10 years or more! Goodness! I was happy to see this particular Sunnyvale sprouts had all the same products that Cupertino sprouts had just in a whiter/spaced out environment! They have all my gluten-free bread, as well as a handful of good fruits with a really good clearance section as well. SO Sprouts is always an interesting market to pop into and look around. They occupy a space in the grocery world quite close to Whole Paycheck with a smattering feeling of a local grocery thrown in. Selection, in particular organic and specialty items is quite good. Like many stores, somethings can be a bargain, others are not. It is also easy to get distracted especially when you go in hungry. Well, I was right about it being slightly bougie (in the health food and vitamin-sense), but they are reasonably priced. The food is not bad, but I mostly HATE THIS STORE. Service s not great. And, the shopping carts LOCK UP when you are right in front of the store, less than 100 feet from the door. You can't actually roll the cart to your car to unload*. This has been going on for at least several months and probably years. I love going to Sprouts! It's one of my favorite grocery stores in the Bay. While not everything is at great prices all the time, if you shop the sales and what's in season you'll typically walk out of the store with some nice looking fruits and veggies at affordable prices. Times have been changing with how inflation is skyrocketing the prices of various items, so having a place to be able to get good quality foods for decent prices is important. I think this Sprouts does a good job at offering a nice variety for reasonable prices. I always also look forward to their gift card sales. I'm not sure if they are consistent though each year, but when they do have these sales, it's usually a promo for 10% off a limited amount of gift cards. That really helps keep my grocery food budget in check for me and my family. Every little bit counts :) The cashiers that I've interacted with here have always been friendly and helpful so far. There are self check outs now, in addition to people run check out lanes. I'm glad they put those in, especially given pandemic times. read more
