I had no idea this place was here, but now I'm so glad it is. I came at 8 pm on a Friday and there was barely anyone here. Service was so friendly and very quick. I wanted to get the p-lo pie based on reviews but was told they took it off the menu, sadly. But I tried something else the cashier recommended and it was yummy! I also had the square cookie but far my favorite thing I had was the garlic cheesy bread with marinara. It is so good!! Do yourself a favor and get it. It was my first time ever at a SPG location. The staff greeted me immediately upon walking in, and asked if they could help. This location was clean, bright and roomy. I ordered the Big Von, which had a good amount of toppings and cheese. The crust was cooked through, and it had that nice crispy cheese edge. Some bites were a bit too salty for my liking, which I think was from the white sauce drizzled on top. When I first heard SPG was coming to the Nut I naturally assumed it would've been located in the dining and shopping district off main and near the Broadway Plaza. Not off Ignacio Valley road in an office building districts in which you can easily miss the light small blue colors on its top of its windows. The parking situation here is brutal. There is like 3 curb paid metered parking which I got lucky because it was past lunch busy time around . 2:30 pm. I was shocked no customer s were inside and initially thought it was closed but it was indeed open. I don't really know the menu because this style of pizzas are different and hit different. They are square , thick, fully, inside soft and crust is meant to be part of the great taste and it did not disappoint. I had some questions before ordered because I wanted to get my order right since it was my first time trying square pie guys . They don't have a beverage machine but they have alameda brand cola which I don't really recommend . The service is attentive and informative and eventually I went with the Ellen supreme. ( next time I'll prob try the spicy pepperoni which has pickled jalapeño so it's not above the top hot) the pie is thick, very crispy , delicious and super flavorful. I took some pics to help. Place is reallly of the grid so it looks like a chill quiet spot and mainly a takeout place. There are other locations in SF and Oak. read more

Recent reviews are mainly about this location's soft opening. Naturally, soft openings are meant for workers to get in the groove of things once the business opens their doors to the general public. Just simply be patient and don't expect to receive top notch service considering workers are still in training. Many of the reviews talk about the long waits and the quality of their food, however my recent visit contradicts all of that. We waited about 30 minutes for 3 pizzas (remember: good things come with time) and the quality was phenomenal. It was piping hot and baked to perfection. On top of that, service was amazing as well and management seems to be doing a fantastic job at remaining patient while training their employees. The restaurant appeared pristine, both front of the house and the back. Finding the location was a little funky at first considering Apple Maps led me pretty much nowhere, but this spot is located under residential apartments with only a few parking spots located on the street. read more
