Delicious pizza. Ordered Create your own with Crispy Chicken, red onion, and red sauce for pickup. The pizza although not large in size was substantial with excellent crust, crunchy bottom, beautiful looking top. Crispy chicken was a treat, and the underlying red sauce flavorful and fresh-tasting. I love square pie guys. My kid says it's the best and his favorite pizza ever and he may be right. We were returning home from a roadtrip and decided to stop here for lunch, we were both really hungry and actually delayed eating so we could stop here. Staff was friendly pizza was hot, crispy and delicious! Restaurant and restroom nice and clean. My one critique the music was so loud, we could barely hear each other talk! But also we weren't really talking just shoveling pizza into our mouths hahaha. This is my second square pie guys review both locations make excellent pizza so EAT HERE!

Ordered two pizzas for pickup. The store is very modern and clean looking. The person who helped me pick up my order was very nice! The pizza itself was good- it's a well done Detroit style pie. The crispy edges are my fav part! I wish that their toppings were chopped a bit finer because they're quite chunky. Tip: get their app because they have promotional discounts!

Really enjoyed the pizza we ordered from Square Pie Guys. It was ordered through DoorDash and the box came sealed. We got The Big Von- white sauce, Italian sausage, pepperoni, Mike's hot honey. Very tasty! Loved the combination of ingredients on this pizza, though it could have used a little more hot honey. Still really yummy, especially with the crisp edges and soft middle. The dough to topping ratio was just right. Sometimes Detroit style pizza can be too feel too bready, but the flavor of ingredients really shined on this pizza. I would definitely order from here again. Highly recommend!

I visited Square Pie Guys in Walnut Creek on May 2 around 5:30 PM. I had previously visited the Oakland location several months ago and remembered enjoying it. The pizza was decent, and the wings were excellent, so I was genuinely excited to try this location. Unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to my expectations. The pizza was okay, but the chicken was extremely salty and difficult to eat. It also didn't taste as fresh as I remembered from my previous experience. Considering how much I spent, I left feeling like it was a waste of money. I was really looking forward to the meal, which made the disappointment even greater. This may have just been an off day, but based on this experience, I probably won't be returning. I hope others have a better experience because I had high hopes going in. The service and energy were great.

We love Detroit Style Pizza!!! Honestly Square Pie Guys is one of the few pizza joints around here that actually offers something relatively close to the kind we could get in Michigan. The only downside for us is the price because it's still considered a relatively new trend here in the Bay Area, and the price reflects that. In my opinion $25-$30 for 4 slices is too expensive for pizza in our budget, so we sadly couldn't afford to get it as often as we'd like. But yesterday was the last day of their Buy One Get One Free deal, and we didn't wanna miss it! We ordered through the app, and I wish it was a little more flexible. They had some pre-set pizzas to choose from, but you couldn't modify them at all. For example, we don't like Hot Honey on pizza, but if a pre-set came with it, there was absolutely no option to remove it. That felt really inconvenient since we liked all the other toppings and just really wanted to remove literally one. Because of that, we ended up having to build our own pizzas, which honestly wasn't hard to do. With that said though, the confusing part that we found out later was that when you build your own pizza, the extra toppings apparently aren't included in the Buy One Get One Free deal. So we ended up paying full price for all the added toppings on both pizzas, which felt a little misleading and caught us by surprise when we saw the final total cost. That being said, the pizza itself was really yummy. We got a Pepperoni Pizza and another one with Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Marinated Bell Peppers, and Red Onion. Both were super delicious. I loved how fluffy the bread was while the bottom of it still had that crispy crunch. The cheese flavor really came through, and the toppings were super flavorful too. But at the end of the day, it's sadly still a little pricey for us to get regularly, but I really hope they bring back the Buy One Get One Free deal again sometime soon because we'd definitely order again.

We visited Square Pie Guys for the first time. And overall the experience was great! We parked right out in front and we were greeted with smiles and welcomes! The Detroit style pizza was made to order - we decided to create our own. As a Chicago pizza girl, I was ready for disappointment, but instead I was IMPRESSED! After watching the FIFA final, which went longer than expected, we were starving and excited to finally try this spot for a late lunch. I'd heard so many great things about it, and since my partner is a huge pizza fan, we couldn't wait to give it a try. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had plenty of seating. There's also metered parking right out front, which made stopping by really convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and our pizza came out about 15 minutes after ordering. We shared the spicy pepperoni pie, and I was completely full after just two slices. It kept me satisfied for hours! The pizza was an easy 10/10. I loved the rich flavor of the vodka sauce, the perfectly melted cheese, and the crispy pepperoni, which was my favorite part. It's definitely a hearty pizza with a lot of bread, but every bite was worth it. We both thought it was amazing and are already looking forward to coming back and trying the other options the next time we're in the area.

This is the Square pie guys location I recommend. We chose our own toppings for the pizza--mushroom, roasted chicken-- and the pizza came out very well baked, not burnt, just right. One fourth of the pizza is more than enough to fill me up. I love thick crusted pizza. I love the plain wings though the Szechuan wings is a must too. We had roasted Brussels sprouts with the cilantro based sauce and this is a must side dish. French fries were ok, nothing special. Tried the Alameda cola and I love it. I fell in love with this pizza. I tried it during Valentine's Day weekend and it did not disappoint. I drove all the way to San Francisco to try it and didn't realize that there was one here in Walnut Creek. Now that it's way closer to home. I have been coming way more often. The service is excellent. They bring your pizza out to you and they have peppers and cheese available at all of the tables and they also have a lot of cool soda options from Alameda soda company. Holy Shhhhhhhiiii this pizza was SO EFFIN GOOD! I was in the area for a funeral and after a full day driving and checking into my hotel I turned to DoorDash for some food. I saw this place and was immediately drawn to it. I love pizza and the pics on their site just screamed at me to order from there. So, I did. And I had ZERO regrets. I got the buffalo chicken pizza 8 slice and it was bomb!! Fun fact, I usually cannot do any type of "hot" or "spicy" so I was taking a risk. I've had buffalo wings before and they can be kinda hot. This pizza tho, man it just worked. It was the perfect level of heat for me and it was so delicious I could not stop eating it. I did tho. I mean it's a huge pie. So I save half to have later and the next day, I come back and reheat the leftovers and omg! so freakin good reheated the next day. Needless to say, it became two meals and I ate every bite. I'm going to attach my photos here too. If you like Buffalo chicken pizza, do NOT sleep on this one! It's as good as it looks! read more
