Squatters has brunch?! It was so delicious and filling and our server was really on top of our water refills, condiments, to-go containers, etc, and made sure we were all good without being pushy, annoying or a helicopter. We had two different bowl dishes and a breakfast plate. Each of us three really enjoyed the food, the flavor and everything was great. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms were clean. It was an overall good experience and I would definitely go back. I want to try the hand rolled cinnamon swirled french toast breakfast and the country fried steak breakfast.

Squatters is a great addition to the west side! We dined in their opening week and were impressed by the service and comfortable feel of the restaurant. There's a variety of seating options and nice decor. The menu is the same as the downtown location, so there's a wide variety of standard brewpub food plus interesting dishes like yellow curry. Staff was helpful and friendly, and checked on allergen questions. Unfortunately they were out of gluten-free buns, so my partner ordered a pizza which arrived overdone. My fish & chips were cooked perfectly and delicious! Lots of local beer on tap and good prices. We will definitely be back. Tons of free parking!

Always great food, waiter was right there getting our brew order, ordered a flight on the dark side of his choice, great choices as he knew what he has on tap. Very nice chill place for a Sunday lunch date

Great food and service! If we don't have time to eat in we do take out. Everything is great, the pizzas are delicious! We try to support local businesses, instead of chain restaurants, it's nice Squatters have a location in west valley. Let's support them and keep them in west valley.

Great service. Pub food variety was not disappointing. I had the dish and chips bc I wanted something different and was not disappointed. The Utah Beer with it taste so good. My family all had something different and said it was all so good. The service was excellent. Tonight was a Tuesday and not so busy for a Sports Bar but not complaining bc we all had fun and did not have to yell.

    Fried pickles, half gone! Tasty.

My family was excited to see a Squatters open in Best Valley, UT. We had to race down and try it as soon as it opened. Two visits in the last week, both times the food was outstanding. First time I had the curry with tofu. Curry was flavorful, sauce had mushrooms and broccoli, large portion. Today it was the California burger. Cooked perfectly, medium, with sunny side up egg on it. Fries that came with the burger were good too. No complaints on the beers, all excellent. Restaurant is nice and new. The view of snow capped mountains was a plus. Nice tvs to watch the sports on that day. Finally, service. Our servers were both great, the final waiter was an all time greatest. Quick with orders, filling water, coffee etc Very personable with his service. I cannot say enough good things about this Squatters. Next time in Utah, I'll be sure to drop in.

LaSalle at the WVC location was amazing! He was helpful in suggesting recommendations for apps and entrees as it was our first time eating at this location. Food was great but service was better!

Nice causal atmosphere with a good variety of food. Our waiter was friendly and a true pro, the manager even stopped at our table and checked on us. Pizzas are great, prices are reasonable. It's nice to see a new restaurant in West Valley. (Next door to Olive Garden)

My family stayed down the street at the HGI in Sandy for 5 nights for my son's soccer tournament and we visited Slackwater 3 times. Pro tip: join the waitlist on Yelp! Even during the week, the wait was 30+ mins each time. Food was great. We tried a lot of different pizzas - we got the Chicken Bro-Do, Hot Honey DP, Tikka Masala, Taco Camarones and Margherita. The airy artisan crust is the same on all pizzas and is delicious. I would recommend them all outside of the Camarones which felt a bit underwhelming as there was very little shrimp and flavor was flat. The Citrus Morita dry rub wings are incredible. We ordered these every night. The Morita chile sauce I would throw on everything. Super fresh and flavorful. It had the right amount of heat . The breadsticks are really good. Same bread that they use for the pizza and stuffed with a ton of cheese. Marinara sauce that comes with it is top notch. The Diablo sticks are spicy just to be spicy. The sauce isn't good. We switched to regular marinara. Would recommend staying away from these. Service is great. Everyone is very attentive. The staff definitely give off a chill energy but are focused, alert and friendly. This place is a must if you're in the area. Hope we can make it back someday.

My one complaint is that we made our reservation for 6:15, but at 5:55, I received a text that my table was ready and would only be held for 10 minutes. That means our table would be given away if we didn't arrive 10 minutes BEFORE our reservation time. The pizza is fantastic. Which I kept saying to my party through bites of pizza. It is the crust that makes this pizza. It is a little sweet but not in a dessert way. It has the perfect chewy bite. I was impressed. I never eat pizza crust, not ever, but it was good enough that my dogs didn't get their usual crust treat. We tried 4 different pizzas and I would recommend any of them.

I had high hopes for locally brewed beer and Asian cuisine, but nothing really hit the mark. Beer was okay. Lukewarm, and decidedly not crispy nor refreshing. Our group was three and we tried a lot of the food on the menu and nothing really hit. The pickled cucumbers were good. The dumplings (which we were told by our server are handmade) were genuinely flavorless and the wrapper was way too thick and chewy. We tried the pork buns as well, same issue, a serious lack of flavor and seasoning. Pork belly entree was middling, just a flavor profile that didn't work. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was fried crispy but the sauce and toppings were unmemorable and lacked any kind of punch or umami to speak of. It came with a side of food service fries, which were crispy but served with plain old ketchup. Oh by the way everything is expensive. Starters were $15+ and most entrees, including noodle soups were $20+ which is crazy. Cocktails were $18 and no wine pour less than $16. The only thing cheap is the beer which makes sense because it was mediocre at best. Server brought the check, said "no rush" and then we waited while he sat three tables, brought drinks for three tables and took two food orders. After 15 minutes I took the bill to the till and had him run it in front of me. I still tipped because I'm not that person. Not going back, there's better beer and Asian food elsewhere.

Ordering was kind of confusing because you had to wait in line instead of just walking up to the bar. One of the bartenders quickly explained it to us so we got in line. The line moved very quickly. Once we ordered our first beers, we sat at the bar and our bartender then took the rest of our orders while seated there. It seemed like once you ordered and established your seats, you could get waited on at your table but you had to order through the line first. There were 3 or 4 bartenders covering the bar and all the various seating areas. Our bartender was very attentive and we never had empty glasses before she was asking if we wanted another round. There was one time where she got side tracked and there was a very slight delay in bringing the next round for my wife and she profusely apologized and comped that round, but we didn't even notice the delay, to be honest. All the beers were great and the handmade pretzel from a place down the street was delicious. The tasting notes on their menu were spot on for the 5 or 6 beers we tried. They have a lot of seating in the main area and large patio in the back that were both pretty crowded, which is why we sat at the bar. We later found out about their "barrel room" that is in the back behind all the brewing equipment. One of the bar backs said it was a more laidback and quiet area. We peaked back there before we left and had we known about it, we would have sat back there because it's exactly like how it was described. The only issue I have unfortunately at this visit was I was trying to grab a glass to take home with me. However, there was a huge line for people to get carded so the front desk guy wanted to card them in first. That was understandable as that created a huge line and backed up the front door. However, someone came behind me with cans so he let them pay first and by the time they finish paying, more people were coming in to get carded. He decided to card them instead of letting me purchase a glass . So at that time I had just left instead of waiting for the continuous cycle of getting carded I'm having to further wait. Hopefully when things are busy, they will have someone to help out carting people in. Otherwise fantastic brewery.
