This brewery features Lager Beers crafted using traditional Bavarian/European methods...thus I had to try one...two...maybe more. Luckily there was a ton of delicious looking food on the menu from the expected pizzas and wings to the old world treats like beef stroganoff, goulash and schnitzal. Everything is made from scratch and I couldn't help looking at all the neighboring tables to get an idea of what to try. Our waitress Ashley was really helpful and checked if the pesto was made with nuts as we have peanut and tree nut allergies in our family. Luckily there were no pine nuts or other substitutes and we could safely have it! We ended up getting quite a feast of plates and then topped it off with two desserts- the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake (couldn't come to a family agreement so had to get both!). She was extremely short and seemed irritated every time she spoke to us, making us feel like we were bothering her throughout our entire visit. We ordered two beers, which were warm, and the service overall was absolutely terrible. Our bill came to $10.87, which I paid in full. Given the experience, I chose not to leave a tip and proceeded to leave. What happened next honestly left me shocked. Madeline followed us out the door and confronted us about not leaving a tip, asking why we didn't tip and whether we were dissatisfied with the service. I was completely caught off guard and felt incredibly uncomfortable and attacked by the interaction, especially after already feeling like she had been rude and unwelcoming to us the entire time. I have never had a server follow me out of an establishment to question me about a tip. It was extremely inappropriate and made an already unpleasant experience even worse. I still can't believe this happened and will never return to this establishment. There are plenty of places where you can enjoy a drink and feel welcomed, and unfortunately, this was not one of them.
