Heard good things about the sunset views from this restaurant so we thought we would give it a try. It was unfortunately too cloudy for a pretty sunset but we still enjoyed being by the water. The food was nothing special, just your typical beach grille restaurant. We were glad we tried it but will be trying others next time we are in town! The best part was the pretzel!!! That's a must try with the cheese omg so good! The service was great, no complaints. Speedy but also allowed us to take our time.

Squid Lips is more of a one-and-done vs tourist trap. The food was pricey, yet forgettable. The sunset river views are spectacular, and the service is abysmal. Buz, you have a fabulous location, but your molasses paced service is your downfall, and you're well aware of it, given a handful of recent reviews complaining about it. Maybe you're content with the first time crowd. The good: great photo ops for sunsets by the river. The ambiance of the patio is welcoming with a ParrotHead vibe. The coconut shrimp and island dipping sauce are a hit. The Citrus Salmon was the winning entree, along with its blackened flavors. The bad: for $28.99, the Keys Combo should not come with a fish fillet so dry that it chokes the customer... and yes, we did complain, and it was removed from the bill. The ugly: how in the world does it take over an hour to bring appetizers, when one of them is a cold smoked fish dip with packaged crackers? Our server, Emma, was also a treat to interact with, as she announced, before our apps had even arrived, that the kitchen would be closing in 8 minutes, so if we wanted entrees, she'd have to put them in ASAP. And yes, Emma, I know there's a place on your POS device for tipping, just like there is in 99.9% of restaurants in America. So Buz, this is the review that your staff wrote... I just typed it in PS, so Buz replied to my review with this comment: "Your comments directed at both our team and ownership do not accurately reflect how our restaurant operates." My retort to him, is that we will have to agree to disagree. My comments were 100% representative of how your restaurant and staff operated the evening we came for dinner. I expect the owner to stand by his staff, but also be cognitive enough to recognize when poor performance should be addressed.

I loved the ambience the most. The sunset there is beautiful. The food was delicious. The fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. There service was a little slow when we sat down at first and because it was so busy we waited a while for the staff to come by our table and take our order. So we moved to the bar and thankfully were able to put in our orders and be served pretty quickly! Staff were very kind and overall lovely experience.

We went during Happy Hour and sat at the bar. We had delicious chicken wings and steamed mussels. Seven of the mussels didn't open. The kitchen generously sent us a second batch. The service was good. The views of the river were beautiful. We would definitely go back.

Right on the water and the views are amazing. Eating on the deck is a must, don't sit inside, you're welcome. Service by Mali was top notch. She made suggestions that were spot on. We got there during happy hour 3-6, oh yeah. My sea bass was so good, if I came back I wouldn't even look at the menu. Excellent restaurant!

Who doesn't love dinner with a beautiful view? At Squid Lips, you can often catch a glimpse of dolphins, manatees, and plenty of catfish while you eat, which makes the experience extra special. We enjoyed a lovely sunset dinner here and it did not disappoint. There is even a dock for strolling after you eat. I ordered the fried shrimp, my husband had the fried fish, and our Aunt chose the fish tacos. Everyone loved their meals, and the prices are very reasonable considering the waterfront location. The kids' menu is a nice touch for families. Our little ones stuck with the classic chicken nuggets. The service was friendly, and since we usually visit on slower nights, the atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. The outdoor bar is huge, and we happened to catch happy hour. I grabbed a $5 margarita while my husband and aunt had beers. The margarita wasn't the best I've ever had, but for $5 it hit the spot! All in all, Squid Lips is a great spot to bring out-of-town visitors or simply enjoy a meal with water views. We'll definitely be back.

We've been eating here for five years. Never one bad meal. Sometimes expensive, sometimes busy, but always good food and music. Staff is friendly and areas clean. Come on in and enjoy some Florida feasts.

I came here to celebrate my friends birthday and I was excited because I have never been here. This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The views of the place were really nice on the deck. Although, we went around 6ish so the sun was setting so the sun was shining right in our eyes. We tried to find our waitress to see if she could help lower it but of course, we didn't. We ended up having to figure out how to lower it ourself. The server finally comes to greet us and get our drink orders. We ordered alcoholic drink and a few of us ordered waters and someone else ordered a coke. The person who ordered the coke had to remind her twice for coke. I had to ask three times for my water. The other person with us gave up because once she walked away from the table she probably wouldn't be back for a while! My food came out before my water did, 7 minutes into eating my food actually. I even had to ask the guy who dropped our food off if I could have silverware. We watched her check on other tables and not even make an attempt to come to ours. Had we not have been celebrating a birthday, I would have left because it was absolutely ridiculous! She was the friendliest to our group when she brought the check to our table. 18% gratuity was added to our table because we had a total of 9 people but she DID NOT deserve 18% tip at all. Our server was a lady with blonde kind of wavy hair and wore it in a pony tail. I write reviews a lot but I have got to have a really terrible experience to only put 1 star.

Great warm sunny afternoon. Enjoying the river side view great live music, good food and wonderful company. Waiter is excellent! Always kept us company. Atmosphere is great relaxing wonderful view! We had the seafood lasagna ...yummy! With calamari also tasting fresh!

The place has a nice view and a great ambiance, which we really enjoyed. The food looked promising - especially the burger and house-made potato chips, which were quite good. However, the Thai poke bowl didn't meet expectations. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very friendly either, which affected the overall experience.

Squid Lips: Come for the fish dip, stay because you're too full to move. This place is the Floridian fever dream I never knew I needed. Super chill, islandy vibe--we sat outside, caught the breeze like a sailboat, and felt ourselves instantly enter vacation mode. Service? ON it. Friendly, fast, and they didn't even blink when our kids started feeding the fish off the pier like it was their part-time job. Honestly, that pier fish-feeding gig might be their new career path. We kicked things off with the smoked fish dip and... I need to learn how to make it at home because I am officially addicted. That said, it came with Club crackers. Classic move. Probably traditional. Maybe sacred? But I'm a rebel and lowkey wondering if tortilla chips would be better or if that's considered a felony in Florida. I don't know--I'm not from here. Please don't report me. Our daughter got the coconut shrimp and looked like she'd found her life's purpose. As for us, we went for the Monday after 4 p.m. fish & chips double portion special. Let me tell you: it was a MOUNTAIN of food. Like, wear-stretchy-pants-and-bring-Tupperware level of food. In short: perfect vibes, amazing food, too many crackers, 10/10 would come back and do it all over again (this time with my own chips... just kidding. Kind of).

Kamy, our bartender, was super nice and fun. Food and drinks were great.
    Cheryll H.

As first time patrons, 4 of us, we would have quickly decided one and done if the hostess, Emily, was our only staff contact. Being seated as far away from the water, after arriving by boat, we asked to sit in another area. She said, "I can't sit you at a big table ". Very rude and told me not to yell at her when I asked her, in a normal tone of voice, if we could sit at a particular 4 chair table near the water. We were standing within 4 feet of each other. I asked her if she really thought I was yelling at her and she said, "don't talk to me across the room. It's a bad experience for the other guests. Absolutely ridiculous. We were not made to feel welcome at all. We went to the bar and had a great experience with Kamy. Great friendly personality and service. We loved every minute. Thank you, Kamy. We will be back because of you and the food and drinks.

Key lime pie. One of the best.

It was an amazing day of good weather. Perfect to sit outside. Happy hour Margarita is fair. I prefer the one on the rocks at this place. Stuffed flounder with potatoes was perfect. Thai Mahi was excellent as well. Waitress was pleasant and did a great job. Key lime pie was the best I've had in this area. Great experience, Thank you.

They have a good rotation of local bands, outdoor seating, friendly staff, cold beers but very average food. The outdoor area is large, but feels neglected. I'd say that a good third of our orders over our combined visits have been a little off (missing items, wrong wing seasoning, overcooked, overseasoned, etc.), but the waitresses have been very good in fixing what you bring to their attention. It took us a few minutes to go through the menu since we weren't familiar with the restaurant, and there are quite a few items to choose from. We ordered the "Crack Mac Snack" (macaroni and cheese) and added pulled pork and the biscuit bread. The food came out quickly, and we were not disappointed. The biscuit bread was absolutely amazing, rich, soft, and delicious (maybe a little too generous with the butter on top, but still delicious). It's a thick, hearty piece, about two inches high and roughly four inches square. The mac and cheese was a generous portion and easily enough to share, and it was really good. The homemade BBQ sauce was also a highlight. The only slight miss was my husband's Coke, which wasn't very sweet, possibly a calibration issue with the machine. Overall, this is definitely a spot worth trying if you're in Cocoa Beach and want something different. There's a lot on the menu, and we'll definitely be back.

It's such a fun touch and almost impossible to walk past without being tempted. Even if you think you're too full after those enormous portions, you may suddenly discover you have room for dessert. Service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept everything moving smoothly despite how busy the restaurant was. One thing to know before visiting: this place is POPULAR. It can get packed, and with a full house comes plenty of noise and energy. If you prefer a quiet dining experience, I'd recommend visiting during an off-peak time. If you enjoy a bustling, social atmosphere, however, that energy is part of the experience. Overall, 4th Street Fillin Station checks a lot of boxes: fresh and delicious food, seriously generous portions, great service, outdoor seating, a lively atmosphere, and an ice cream bar to finish things off. A fun Cocoa Beach spot that's absolutely worth experiencing--and one I'd happily visit again.

We wanted to find a place with GF food options so this place is great for this. Plenty of choices…read morefor GF and the tenders are huge and really good. However, the service was a little slow for drinks and at times I had to wave down server and remind for drink(s) our first app arrived and we had no silverware had to request it. Place was open air and not bad once sun went down and the breeze with fans was good. We order 4-5 diff items and all were awesome, hot and fresh and tasted really good. Yucca fries, tenders, poke bowl with sweet potato, fish and chips. Overall we had a good time and would return as we had a good time.

Tight parking. Small lot. I had high expectations for the spot because it was so highly rated,…read morehowever, a lot of the items on yelp are no longer available especially items unique to florida. Inside is a tiki bar vibe, it is very small business and the waitress is super nice (and must deal with a lot). It was virtually empty when we went for dinner. Mussel and clam in white wine: okay the bread was not even grilled (I had expected some buttery smoked grill mark situation) and the clams had a lot of sand in them. There was a handful of dead mussels. And overall it was a bit salty and lacking in freshness. Mahi taco- inside was good but idk if orlando doesn't have a good bread place cuz the tortilla was soo bad. Like no moisture, fake tasting tortilla. Otherwise the fish and toppings are yummy and I can see why its recommended. Again not really the blackened grill flavor. The fries were real potato (russet) but also felt a overfried/fried too long at a low temperature because they were greasy and some were burnt.. The fried oysters were okay, on the smaller side. Overall, this place might be better for fried baskets and like fish and chips rather than fresh seafood experience. Also considering it is on the cape/island you do have to drive out a long way on a single road to get to it, so that might have also influenced my expectations. Again the service is good and nice if you do want to support a local business. Just for the price and repertoire, maybe I had higher expectations.
