First time coming here. We ordered them to go. I actually used the TooGoodToGo app and got the mystery bag for eight dollars. It was a really good deal. They were refrigerated so I feel like maybe they were yesterday's but they were still good. You couldn't tell when I heated them up. I heated them up in the air fryer for about 10 minutes, wrapped in foil. We had them for brunch. It was actually kind of fun cutting into each one to see which flavor we got. All of ours were savory and one was breakfast. I will definitely come back and try it again and it's nice to know which kind of our favorites now. The only downfall when we were discussing them was that we felt like they needed maybe a little bit more sauce inside of them. read more

Kolaches are delicious and a wide variety if fillings to choose from. Highly recommend the 'Merica but I loved the Ham, Egg, and Jalapeño for a spicy kick! The crab Rangoon one was mostly cream cheese but still great. Service was very friendly and helpful! When St. Louis Kolache announced they were opening a location in Southwest Gardens right on Hampton, I did a little happy dance! Before moving to St. Louis, I had never heard of kolache and since moving here I've become slightly obsessed. These morsels are a type of sweet pastry that hold a portion of fruit or savory flavors surrounded by puffy dough, and St. Louis Kolache offers a huge variety. They have traditional fruit offerings but also wild kolache that feature exotic flavors like crab rangoon. During this particular visit, I decided to have a St. Louis style pizza and an egg and cheese kolache. I wanted the egg and cheese to have a base to judge their kolache. It was a really great kolache! The pastry was warm and the eggs were fluffy. This kolache was the perfect warmup for the St. Louis style pizza kolache which had pepperoni, bacon and provel cheese. It was absolutely incredible. It tasted like a sweet little slice of St. Louis pride. The provel was melted but not the temperature of molten magma. The meat inside the kolache tasted very fresh and high quality. The overall experience at St. Louis Kolache was top notch. They have parking in front of their small shop on Hampton that is very easy to access. The workers were so pleasant when I was ordering. The longest part of the experience was when they warmed up my kolache (which I highly suggest.) It's dangerous for me to have these fresh, flavorful pastries so easily accessible as I'm totally addicted to them! I can't wait to try every flavor. read more

Picked up breakfast from here. Everything was great; the sausage gravy kolache was a real standout. The chorizo one was also excellent. I drove for a little over 15 minutes from pickup to eating, and they were still hot and in good shape. They are not overly greasy and the dough was not at all in danger of sogging out. This place is dangerously close to my house (about a 5-10 minute drive). After dropping my kids off at preschool, I often contemplate stopping by on the way home to grab some breakfast. Their prices can add up quickly, but they're fair for the deliciousness that you get! My favorite is the sausage and gravy kolache. They have a ton of options, though, both sweet and savory. The only downside is they don't have vegan options, so my younger kiddo with food allergies can't eat any. But if you can, you should definitely give them a try! read more

Just went up to St. Louis Kolache. The lady in front took 10 minutes. I waited patiently while the 2 employees helped her. It finally time order and immediately asked take the other ladies order behind me in line at same time. So they could have take my order 10 minutes before. It not great feeling wait 15 minutes and the person behind you gets a wait of about 2 minutes. Not same service to everyone. The Kolache taste same as the others but the feeling sucked. read more

Not happy at all. We normally go to the one on Brentwood, but because this one is closer, we decided to visit this one. 1st time we ordered online and it tells you how many are left. We call to make sure we had gotten our order right and the young lady says "Ooh we are out of those" on several of the ones we selected. Her customer service wasnt that great, she wasnt realky paying attention like a child you have to keep repeating yourself to. So we decided to just come in and order whatever they had left. They had a few different selections to select to choose from, they were okay. Their Kolache's are nowhere near the one's on Brentwood. Their Kolache bread is heavier and not as tasty, but they were okay. My girlfriend suggests we give them another try, so we did. We placed an order over the phone and we she arrived they told her that they were out of many of the one's she ordered. Like make it make sense, who is running the place monkey's and wolves. It's just ridiculous, I guess we will stick with THE ORIGINAL KOLACHE FACTORY ON BRENTWOOD because this place is clearly just a rough draft of the real deal! No I didn't take a pic of the kolache because there is nothing to see. 1 - 10 ...10 being great! Great little kolache place, my first time here. Flavors are unique and tasty, even when eaten a few days later. Got so many I can't even remember all the flavors. Sloppy Joe, brisket, philly, salmon, merica, Mac n cheese, bacon egg and cheese, smores. Online ordering said they were out of stl pizza but we saw it when we arrived and got one of those too.
