It's a small little shop. Absolutely delicious!! They heat them up for you too. Mouthwatering!

Kolaches are delicious and a wide variety if fillings to choose from. Highly recommend the 'Merica but I loved the Ham, Egg, and Jalapeño for a spicy kick! The crab Rangoon one was mostly cream cheese but still great. Service was very friendly and helpful! We wished they had a table or two inside or outside to sit and eat but we would definitely come back for a breakfast on the go!

When St. Louis Kolache announced they were opening a location in Southwest Gardens right on Hampton, I did a little happy dance! Before moving to St. Louis, I had never heard of kolache and since moving here I've become slightly obsessed. These morsels are a type of sweet pastry that hold a portion of fruit or savory flavors surrounded by puffy dough, and St. Louis Kolache offers a huge variety. They have traditional fruit offerings but also wild kolache that feature exotic flavors like crab rangoon. During this particular visit, I decided to have a St. Louis style pizza and an egg and cheese kolache. I wanted the egg and cheese to have a base to judge their kolache. It was a really great kolache! The pastry was warm and the eggs were fluffy. This kolache was the perfect warmup for the St. Louis style pizza kolache which had pepperoni, bacon and provel cheese. It was absolutely incredible. It tasted like a sweet little slice of St. Louis pride. The provel was melted but not the temperature of molten magma. The meat inside the kolache tasted very fresh and high quality. The overall experience at St. Louis Kolache was top notch. They have parking in front of their small shop on Hampton that is very easy to access. The workers were so pleasant when I was ordering. The longest part of the experience was when they warmed up my kolache (which I highly suggest.) It's dangerous for me to have these fresh, flavorful pastries so easily accessible as I'm totally addicted to them! I can't wait to try every flavor.

Speedy service. There was a line but it moved quickly. You can order on the app and do a pick up to avoid the line

I love this place. Very affordable, close to my office - this is a regular breakfast spot for me. The egg and cheese kolache is warm, fluffy and delicious.

We were pretty seated right away (party of 2.5) next to their beautiful plants and bar. Parking in the area can be a headache, but Songbird does have a small parking lot next door and can be worth trying. Our service was very welcoming and nice! The menu is a bit smaller than most, but I really enjoyed what we ordered. We started off Vanilla Iced Latte, an Iced Hibiscus Tea supplied by the London Tea Room, and waters. They gave my toddler his water in a to-go coffee cup which delighted me because in passing... a small child having his morning coffee lol Our food was great, filling, and delicious: a breakfast sandwich with aged white cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, and fried egg, huevos rancheros with housemade chorizo, and a farm toast (french toast with peaches) Lovely breakfast date - I highly recommend!

The quality has not wavered once. I ordered what I always order: The Combo (fried eggs, maplewood smoked bacon, cheese, brioche toast), extra egg, extra bacon. Most kitchens treat a fried egg as binary (runny or ruined). Songbird has mastered the middle register: lacy edges with a yolk that stays glossy and intact right up until the first bite. I ordered them over hard, and they came out a bit closer to over medium, but they were just as good as I wanted them to be. The bacon carries real smoke. This is a decadent sandwich, big enough that half of it would make a light breakfast; I wasn't remotely hungry after one, the second half was indulgent. The service made the move too. The hostess still recognizes returning customers, and the bigger room finally lets the dining experience breathe. The service at the table could have been a little warmer as we've had it the past, but it is still professional. I was there with two close college buddies, one of whom declared his latte excellent. I keep meaning to get adventurous with the menu, but it is genuinely hard to find a bacon, egg, and cheese toasted this perfectly, and I'd go twice in one day if given the opportunity. 4.8 A full five arrives the day when I can arrive first thing on a Saturday without a 30 minute wait, honestly, it's hard to get a reservation here because of its popularity. Good for them. Cheers to you, Songbird. Dolly would be proud

We tried to come on a Saturday after visiting the Gateway Arch, heartbroken that they were CLOSED! No sign on the door, so we had to figure out a backup option. On Sunday, we tried again and because there was no number listed online, we took a chance and thank goodness they were open! It's a small diner with patio situation and we were informed there would be a wait which was fine with us. We were quickly sat at the (covered) patio on a gorgeous sunny day and enjoyed the views of people walking to see a game at Busch Stadium. Kelly was a wonderful server! Both the Bloody Mary and the Espresso Martini were excellent! The deviled eggs were a delicious appetizer. Hands down though, that biscuit breakfast sandwich was what breakfast dreams are made of! Kelly recommended the sausage which was rich and flavorful. The over-medium egg was perfection! Potatoes were well seasoned and mouthwatering. I'm going to be thinking of Fleur STL for many years to come and hope to visit again someday!

We were pleasantly surprised they weren't super busy, selfishly it was nice, but I hope it's not always like that because they deserve the hype. We sat at the bar and had great service the whole time. We started with a house made Bloody Mary (it had fantastic flavor) and an espresso martini (should we say the best in the city???). A piece of candied bacon came on the Bloody Mary and I'm still thinking about it. Then the food. I got a cheeseburger and fries and it was freaking fantastic. So juicy and tender, tons of flavor, one of the top burgers in St. Louis in my opinion. My husband got a special which was a braised beef Benedict and he was VERY happy. He likes a good burger and still said his meal was the best. They plate everything so beautifully, this is like a high class culinary experience in a (clean diner) with great prices. And the small menu is very preferred because it doesn't take you an hour to decide. And the fries - so fresh and crispy. This place deserves all the love. I was so impressed with it, it doesn't look like much from the outside but it is so worth it.

The Fleur-de-Lys is the epitome of a luxurious getaway. Whether it is the quaintly appointed guest…read morerooms or the delightful library and parlor, each area of this former residence is unique and meticulously maintained. While it is not likely the norm, the owners, Mark & Leslie, met us at the front door, quite literally inviting us into their establishment. It was simply the most welcoming manner in which to be introduced to this treasure and Leslie quickly engaged us with the history of the home and how she and Mark had recently become the owners. We chose this destination based upon the significance of the Fleur-de-lis to my love, a native New Orleanian. Given St. Louis' rich French heritage, the mansion was originally outfitted with four chimneys that feature the fleur-de-lis design and the pattern is repeated throughout the home. While we enjoyed a quiet morning coffee in the back of the property, a lovely shaded patio area, she noticed how many places the symbol was present. She actually made mention to Mark & Leslie that they could make an activity out of counting/finding all of the fleur-de-lis around the home. What a fun idea! We were fortunate enough to book the Tower Grove Park room, a spacious room fitted with a king-size bed and a two-person jacuzzi tub. There is even a 'fainting couch' for that extra French touch! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the decor and accoutrements were exceptional, right down to the pocket doors and writing desk. But a B&B is set apart by the fare served in the morning, and this is where Mark, a chef by trade, and Leslie, a self-taught baker, knock it out of the park. That morning's menu included a fruit starter, fresh juice, Leslie's home-baked sourdough toast and home-baked English muffins, and Mark's egg and sausage soufflés with country potatoes. The entire breakfast had us completely over the moon! We felt so at home that we wanted to clear our own place - so we did! The rates are competitive and well worth every moment spent here. There is parking behind the property, as well as across from the property, and each guest is allowed a unique security code so as to gain entry while you are enjoying your stay. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this getaway, and Mark, Leslie, & assistant Sammy made us feel like family from the moment we crossed the threshold. We'll be back - and you should give Fleur-de-Lys a try!

Overall rating 3.5/5, even though I can't give half stars here on Yelp. One star for ambiance/vibes. This is a gorgeous, quaint little eatery in a lush area of Saint Louis County, right near Grant's Trail. One star for service. My server was a kind lady who made sure I was always doing well and kept my water glass topped off. One star for going above and beyond--I ordered gooey butter cake as a sweet treat and apparently whomever cut the slices made them too small so they gave me two but only charged me for one. Half a star for the gooey butter cake and espresso martini. Neither was the best instance of either I've ever had but they were the best part of the actual meal. Unfortunately, I think I made the wrong entree choice. I went with the biscuit (singular) and gravy and a side of sausage links. The biscuit is described as "jumbo" but didn't feel much bigger than what I'd consider a regular-sized biscuit. It also wasn't nearly as fluffy as I would have liked and was quite tough and hard at points, nearly requiring the use of a knife to cut it. The gravy was relatively flavorless and wasn't improved much by either salt or pepper. The sausage links were passable. I'm willing to give the shop another shot (and order something different) once I try some other brunch places on my list but I was a little disappointed on this visit because I wanted to like my food more.
