The store is well organized and stocked with essentials. We never had to wait longer than 3 minutes to order our food. The store also smelled cleaner than most bodegas. My only complaint is they overcooked the bacon on my bacon, egg and cheese + spk sandwich. It was a tad too crunchy. Do yourself a favor and order their pancakes for breakfast--delicious! read more

Attached is the photo from the website, as well as the burger I received. They actually ask you how you'd like your burger done, but the patty is so thin that I'm betting all burgers come out the same; gray (as was mine was). Apparently this place is St. Nicholas Gourmet Deli, but goes by Stan's burger Bar on Seamless. This burger cost $16.98 plus tax, delivery, and fees, total $24.87! I'd have had better quality and approx the same burger by going to Burger King at a fraction of the price. I'll let you be the judge. Won't be ordering from here again. read more

I was in town for two days, as I was attending an interview. There was a charity drive going on, and it was "suggested" that all interviewees bring a donation. So I came to this local deli to buy some canned food. I found exactly what I was looking for, and went to check out. The staff here was friendly, and took care of me in a short amount of time. I swiped my card, and I was good to to. In the short time I spent here, I noticed that they have a grill as well as the standard small-store fare. The place was clean, and a bit busy as people from the neighborhood came and went. This place is definitely a convenient stop, and I'm thankful that I didn't have to walk too far to get what I was lookign for. read more

What a great taste of home! Staying at a nearby hotel the deli was only a very short walk around the corner. I ate here multiple times during my stay. Bacon egg and cheese with coffee for breakfast. This restaurant does business under many different names on Seamless. I had ordered an egg burrito with all of these ingredients. What I received was a egg on a roll with bacon. I ordered a Greek Omelette with home fries - what I received was eggs soaked in oil without any of the ingredients in the omelette and french fries. I ordered two hard boiled eggs - got neither. I ordered a fresca with an instruction to substitute another diet soda if there was no fresca. Of course, I received a Coke. I confirmed this was the right order with the driver, and when I called them I was told to bring the food back in (they're a few miles away). When i told them to come, they told me to shove it up my a****, and hung up. Highly dishonest establishment and rude. No matter what you order, they seem to just send the same items. They are essentially sending highly low quality food marketed with high end items like avocado and chicken but you will not receive any of this, and they are very rude and combative when you call or threaten to report them. What's amazing is they even have pictures of what they promise to deliver but you do not receive any of that. Keep in mind, this is not an order mix up. They told me this is what they decided to make and I could either walk with the food back to the store or shove it up my a*****. I've attached the receipt and pictures. While on vacation, I grabbed a few snacks, and ordered the chopped cheese. They make about 15-20 sandwiches and a few halal items as well, maybe 5, fresh on a grill that's in the store. The sandwich took about 5 minutes, and with two bags of chips, trail mix, and a large water came out to $11, which I thought was cheap. I couldn't wait to make it back to my room to dive into this Harlem staple. Taking about 10 steps from the store, I started eating it, and it was amazing. A chopped cheese is a burger that is diced as it fries, served with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, always on a hero bread if you want it served the right way. The sandwich dripping with the burger juices, mayo, and tomato. The roll was about 7-8 inches, and for $5, I will need to grab a few more while I am here. read more

I had the distinct honor of being served heaven on a roll. I am talking of the chopped cheese sandwich. Never heard of chopped cheese? I know, me too! This celestial creation is specific to Harlem and St. Nicolas' does it right. Chopped cheese is kind of a cousin to a Philly Cheesesteak, only it is a deliciously seasoned ground beef concoction with American cheese melted into the lump of beef prior to piling it onto a delicious crusty roll. I was pleasantly surprised. Prices are reasonable and the food was fresh! There are lots of great options and the portions are generous. A lady in front of me ordered a salad and they pulled all the requested ingredients from the lineup and tossed freshed then packaged. I ordered a Santa Fe Turkey Panini(I believe that was the name) and my daughter ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a roll along with fries and it was great!!
