The menu is diverse enough that it can accommodate various types of diets including Keto and diabetic diets The prices are a bit more that I would have liked, but right for the area. I have always received my food in a timely manner and cooked the way I asked for it Ambiance Busy and crowed the handful of times I have been there. I would call it organized chaos. THIS IS A SANITARY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE REVIEW!!! As I was sitting eating my food, a girl (I believe her name is Tiffany) comes to the back hall from what appears to be the kitchen area with a DOG (Pitbull that was 14 months old). Then, the dining staff (all except 1 because he said he didn't like dogs) came to see this dog. They are very excited, petting the dog, letting the dog lick on them, and having a good ol' time for 10 mins give or take. Then she left with the dog and went back to what appeared to be the Kitchen area. Only 2 of the dining staff washed their hands after handling this Dog and my waitress was one that didn't wash their hands. The 2 that did wash their hands literally just splashed water. Then, I saw my waitress touch the to-go boxes and give them to customers, the ketchup and different food items on shelves. So, when our waitress came to see if we needed anything, I voiced my concerns with her handling the dog and not washing her hands and the fact that a dog should not be in a food establishment. She suggested that I speak with a manager, which I agreed, because this situation was not ok. Here comes the manager in a very defensive body language leaning over me. I voice my concerns with allowing the dog in a food establishment and she defends it and sees nothing wrong with this situation. She says, we allow service animals in our restaurant, and I let her know that's fine. Then, she asked me if a Service Animal is cleaner than a regular Dog? I told her service animals are not in the kitchen or being petted by your dining staff. I have no concerns with service animals and you're missing the point. So, she is pretty much combative with every issue I'm voicing to her. She says, you already have your food so what does it matter? So, I asked, are you defending this incident? She says, well I'm not denying that it happened. I asked for her name, and she yells I'm the owner, I'm not giving you anything. She gets all hostile and tells me to get out, I'm not welcome, and don't come back. As I'm getting up out of my seat to leave, another "worker" pulls her back and she yanks away as if she was going to attack me or something. Then another guy says to my husband and I, we just wanted a free meal today. I never said I wasn't paying; I didn't want the food comp'd. I was simply letting her know her staff didn't wash their hands after handling a dog and a dog shouldn't be in a food establishment, especially in a kitchen area. She was so rude and condescending and thank God I remained calm and didn't match her energy. I will never dine here again. Well, I'm not welcomed anyway. My point was if they didn't feel the need to wash their hands after allowing a dog to lick all over them, in what other situations did they not wash their hands? Did the kitchen staff do the same thing with the dog as the dining staff? I literally told her perception is everything. Customers shouldn't see this, and she was very combative about that also. Randomly came across this when I was driving down 95th. It was packed, so I figured it must be good. As the name entails, their main thing is pancakes. My sister got the strawberry pancakes And the smell of them was just amazing. Following the primal diet, I'm not supposed to eat pancakes but I had to try it since that's their main attraction. My boyfriend, his brother and I went here around noon. There was a long line because this place is really popular. We got lucky and some parties left due to the long wait. We were seated in the middle of the breakfast restaurant. The place had a homey feel, where I felt very comfortable. The waitress happily greeted us, which I appreciated because their attitude can really make your experience better. The other thing I noticed is the staff worked as a team, even the manager. He participated in seating and cleaning. He wasn't one of those annoying managers dictating from afar. I ordered a Lemon Greek soup, an Irish skillet and toast. The soup was creamy and delicious. It warmed my stomach, and (at the time) my stomach was feeling ill. It made me feel a lot better. Then, I had room for the Irish skillet. I came here with a bunch of friends that I hadn't seen in a few years for a Sunday brunch. I found it on Yelp and it did not disappoint! We had a party of 6, 2 of us got there early to put our names in because the line gets long for Sunday brunch and they do not take reservations. They got a table ready for us and held it until our whole party was there so we got seated right away which was really nice! The service was great! The hostess was really nice our waitress was equally as great! Our food came out fast and it was EXCELLENT! If I could give this place 6 stars I would! All 6 of us really enjoyed our meal! They allowed us to split up our check which was also very nice. The food was fresh with great flavor, presentation was awesome but more importantly flavor was fantastic. Healthy is not the word I would use to describe the food here, but delicious is! I don't live in the Chicago area but when/if I'm ever back I would make it a point to come back here! This place is busy and seems to always be packed. I came in on a Saturday morning and there was an hour and 15 minute wait around 11 am. It's a small restaurant on the corner of the street with the parking lot in the back and there is some limited street parking available. Staff seem nice, but I'm not sure of their mechanism of ensuring that people are called in an orderly fashion on the waitlist. They say there is order, but I question it. I got the Ole skillet with chicken chorizo. It was a very filling and a tasty meal I got the pancakes on the side which were delicious. Then I have the cappuccino to complement my brunch. I recommend this meal. The server was nice and attentive. Despite the massive crowd that hovers as people eat it's pretty clean. If you claustrophobic avoid this place and order to go. It was worth the wait, but I feel they could make more money and have more customers if they have better organization with the Check in or even update the system to get a text update when you are ready to seat me. read more

And for a Friday morning, the 30 minute wait was a bit much. They sat us in a tiny, little corner for our meal. The menu is decent however they do not serve grits. The food was just OK. I ordered the Olé Skillet with pancakes. Note: The skillet only comes with pico de gallo and there's no salsa in the restaurant which I feel like could have been beneficial to the skillet. However, I did like the fact that they had chicken chorizo that I was able to substitute instead of regular chorizo for no price differential. And the tortilla chips and hash browns were extremely delightful. Unfortunately, the pancakes were severely dry and adding syrup didn't help much. Overall, I'm not saying that I wouldn't go back. It was already annoying that the owner plays Fox News on the tv in the waiting area. Now, they began illegally charging a fee for debit card transactions (violates IL and Federal laws). The food quality has declined. Last weekend, my husband became ill and vomited within 25 minutes of eating eggs benedict (only he ate that, everyone else was fine). Had a complaint about our food this afternoon and the owner had a horrible attitude. We were not requesting a discount nor a refund just a new half of the sandwich, since there was a funky ass, smell and taste coming from it. She said there was nothing she could do except give me an egg and toast which is not what we ordered and if we didn't like that, we can go to the health department and make a complaint. The first time I ate at Stacked it was for an early breakfast meeting and the service and food were great. Today I went at lunch time and the place was busier. I was seated at the counter and the waitress served everyone around me and just ignored me. I went back to the Hostess and she told me to go back and they would send the waitress. I asked for a table and they still sent me back to no man's land. I am glad their breakfast is good but you can't eat there when they are busy. As a born and raised Chicagoan who now lives in Houston- I was lucky enough to try to this one evening before heading to the airport with a friend. When we eat in, the waitresses have been good to us; when I do carryout, the food holds up pretty well on the drive home. Eggs are always cooked perfectly (especially when you order over easy), and the pancakes are great. I've been through all the French toast dishes and the stuffed French toast with the banana cream cheese just makes you stop and appreciate each bite the more you eat it. It's that good. I haven't eaten lunch here yet, but I will eventually. But if you need a place to get that breakfast action going, go to Stacked.
