Usually get corn dogs here but today we got the fish and chips which was really good and huge portion! Friendly service and chill quick place to grab a quick bite to eat.

Stage Door Café

Stage Door Café is right next to the Golden Horseshoe and overlooking the Rivers of America. It's in Frontierland at Disneyland. The Stage Door Café exterior theming blends in well with the Frontierland area, with wooden signage and a laid back atmosphere. It's like a frontier outpost next to the waterfront! The outdoor seating nearby lets you eat lunch or snacks with views of the water and Frontierland's scenic area! The menu at the Stage Door Café includes hand dipped corn dogs, crispy chicken tenders, fish and chips! It's a quick go to spot if you're looking for a fast meal. If you're looking for sweets as well, Stage Door Café has house made funnel cakes! You can get powdered sugar or strawberry sauce on the funnel cakes! Seasonal variations do pop up throughout the year for special events! Since it's a quick service location, no reservations are required. You can just order at the counter or use the Mobile Ordering through the Disneyland application. My favorite is the Churro Funnel cake. The funnel cake is tossed in cinnamon sugar with caramel sauce! Stage door café is open from 11:00 A.M to 10:00 P.M. Discounts are accepted here for Magic Key Holders and Disney Vacation Club. The last time my family and I visited, service was quick and my funnel cake was delicious!

I was craving corn dogs and a funnel cake. I was not happy with the corn dog because the breading kept coming off and it was so oily. I know it was deep fried but it is not worth it. It said home made batter and I didnt enjoy it. The funnel cake was okay. There wasnt a line or wait to get the food. The tables were not wiped down so I had to wipe down the tables and chair.

The funnel cake with strawberries is a huge serving and a favorite. Pair it with a delicious corn dog and a soda for a perfect lunch in Disney. Service was excellent and efficient and found a nearby table to sit outside and enjoy the food while crowd watching.

We mobile ordered the strawberry funnel cake as a snack during a long Disney day. It was really really quickly after ordering and was exactly as described. The whipped cream was nice and cool in contrast to the hot funnel cake and worked well on a warm day. Only suggestion would be to have a little more strawberry topping as it was a little bland after finishing all the strawberry.

Hand-dipped Corn Dog, Gravy Fries

I always come to stage door cafe for my favorite corn dogs in Disneyland. We also got the gravy fries and the hot honey chicken tenders. I enjoyed the corn dogs as always with the hot and crunchy batter. The gravy fries were very yummy but it didn't come with enough sauce. We also liked the hot honey tenders but they didn't stand out. Overall I like stagedoor cafe and I'll definitely be back for the corn dogs.

This is a quick service restaurant at Disneyland. They serve all your favorite fried foods: funnel cakes, chicken tenders, french fries, and hand-dipped corn dogs. Hey, they never said it was "The Healthiest Place on Earth" after all! You will find Stage Door Café in Frontierland, right next to another restaurant The Golden Horseshoe. Seating is all outdoors, with several tables and umbrellas in the adjacent patio. It's a little difficult finding a spot, but not impossible. You might have to hover around and wait until someone leaves. They don't really clean surfaces too often, so bring wet wipes. You can also just walk inside The Golden Horseshoe and sit down at an open table. Order inside at the register. If there's a line or you prefer not to wait, open the Disneyland app and mobile order before you arrive. The menu is similar to The Golden Horseshoe, just missing a few items like the ice cream sundaes. I ordered the fish & chips, which came with tartar sauce. It tasted like previously frozen, recently microwaved food. The chips were soggy, but passable. The fish had a gummy texture and the batter could have been crispier. Doesn't compare to Three Broomsticks at Universal Studios or the Yorkshire County Fish Shop at Epcot. Wish they would bring back the mozzarella sticks!

Dessert / Snacks - Strawberry Funnel Cake

*** Dessert Stop *** Strawberry funnel cake ... need I say more. Look at the photo. Order it using the mobile App. No wait and it comes to you still hot. The strawberries are sweet and the funnel cake is hot and crunchy in all the right places. Love it way better than a plain, boring ole' churro. Plus, it's big enough to share.

This Disney trip, all I was craving was FRIED FOODS. And I knew just where to go. STAGE DOOR!!!! I ended up trying: Corn Dog, Fish and Chips, Chicken Tenders & Fries, and the Mozzarella Sticks & Fries. All the food ended up hitting the spot!! I was surprised by how delicious the Fish and Chips were! Probably the best dish of the bunch. The corn dog was delicious as well which is what you can expect since Disney knows how to do corn dogs! The mozzarella sticks had the most perfect cheese pull and were well seasoned. Usually mozzarella sticks are either too salty or too bland, but these were perfect. The dish that felt slightly short was the chicken tenders. The chicken tenders themselves were on the dry side, although the seasoning was good. The fries were standard! Nothing crazy, but still good. They have an array of sauces so I had a blast dipping all my fried foods in different dipping sauces. Overall, pretty affordable and tasty fried food options can be found at Stage Door!

Fish and Chips ~ $10.99

Stage Door Cafe is in Frontierland in Disneyland, near the waterfront. The area where you actually order and pick up your food is just a small, old, wooden, saloon-like storefront with no tables. They sell funnel cake, fish and chips, chicken tenders, and plant based chili fries. I ordered the Fish and Chips ($10.99) through the mobile app, picked up, and brought the food across the way to the outdoor tables near River Belle Terrace. I didn't really enjoy the fish and chips. The fish batter was not crispy, but more chewy. The fish inside the batter was just okay, but overall, there was not much flavor. The tarter sauce it came with helped with flavor a little, but was just so so. The fries were a little better than the fish, but not that great also. The fish and chips were very unfulfilling and a bit disappointing. I'll probably order something else at Disneyland next time.

Perfect Midday Snack to recharge and keep going! During the Latin Heritage month, this is a new (and temporary) food item on the menu which is a delight. Pro Tip: smother the whipped cream over the funnel cake before eating. It's freshly made but some parts are drier than others. The spread whip cream will help! The bread does run dry so try to grab a drink with it- I would've gotten a hot coffee to pair with. The bread is beautiful but by itself doesn't have a particular taste. Shoutout to Disney cast members Chandra and Alé for helping me choose this option!

Hand dipped corn dogs with fries and a coke

Fried foodie fans welcome... The only requirement my boyfriend had for the day besides watching the fireworks was a Disneyland corn dog and this place delivered. Aside from corn dogs they offer chicken strips and fries, fish and chips and funnel cakes. I'm pretty sure the only non fried items are the goldfish crackers and the cuties included in the kid's meals, lol. It is definitely a popular spot since it's quick counter service plus they have mobile ordering. I can't believe in all my Disney trips over the years this was my first visit to this place. But I will definitely keep them in mind since he said the corn dog was really good and I caught a glimpse of the funnel cakes which looked delicious. Arteries beware!

I saw a tip from a YouTube vlogger that you should go here if you want a funnel cake that's been fancied up, it always varies with the season so you never know what you're going to get from month to month. When we went, the funnel cake was topped with brownies and strawberries. Thumbs up! Filled our craving for funnel cake and dare I say it rivals Knotts Berry Farm's funnel cake?!?! I do dare. I'm a bit envious of pix posted here from others reviews, wish mine had blueberries on it! I also saw some that had cheesecake bits on it with the strawberry and another that was dressed up like an apple pie! But all in all, worthy of seeking out when coming to the happiest place on earth.

Do they still sell chicken tenders? Heard they're gone from all of Disneyland and DCA.

They still sell them. What they stopped selling are the mozzarella sticks.

The door is very well hidden, I thought it'd be in a basement around the corner or something. The space is really small, so big groups are not advised. I had the niña fresa, a strawberries and creme type drink. Delicious! If you like sweet drinks, otherwise do not get it. I had the Saturn afterwards. Still a little sweet, but mostly sour. The server came by to say that we only had 25 min left, so we hurriedly ordered a last drink. But when he delivered it, it magically became 5 min! I chugged my drink and was ushered out the door. Overall it was pretty nice but I didn't enjoy having to rush at the very end.

We started with The Gatsby Effect drink which came in beautiful glasses and a tower that drips butterfly pea tea gin into your glass, changing the color of your drink. There's only one tower option with dinner. It comes with an entire 1 oz container of caviar with crumb fresh, chicken nuggets with crown fresh smoked trout caviar and chives, spicy ahi tuna wonton chip, mini lobster rolls, kettle chips, shrimp cocktail shooters, wagyu sliders, and chicken Caesar salad skewers. Nothing disappointed! Everything was high quality. Shrimp was plump n meaty. The service was great! Our waitress was very nice and checked up on us often. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish.
