I got the pulled pork sandwich, which they bring you the BBQ sauce bottle in case you want to add more sauce to it, which was wonderful because it's at your own personal taste. The burger was juicy, the onion ring was crunchy. The owner should consider creating a new burger that includes the Western Bacon Cheeseburger with the pulled pork as a topping. It's not luxurious, but better than that, it is comfortable, homey, and the price is reasonable. The owner, Kristie, and her husband live on the property. She greets you when you arrive and is available for anything you need. There is a fully equipped communal kitchen for the use of the lodgers. The little garden courtyard is beautiful and peaceful and hosts the largest saguaro cactus I've ever seen. The artwork throughout the rooms and gardens is charming and interesting and even includes lovely artistic interpretations of local petroglyphs. And about 10 miles to the west, arising improbably out of the barren desert like a mirage, is a family owned Indian restaurant with great food! I really enjoyed my two stays at this delightful place and I hope it continue to thrive as a quiet lovely oasis in the midst of the desert.

It is perfectly located near the Arizona State Border. I was visiting a dear friend in Quartzite, Arizona, and it was 30-35 minutes away, not bad. Their free breakfast was just ok, but certain items were not bad, like their fresh fruit and cereals offered were good. They also offer a small snack shop for items like bottled water, chips, certain microwave meals, sodas, cookies, and personal items. It was well stocked. When I checked out, I told the friendly front desk about my shower issues, and they were very apologetic and gave me a small discount on my room rate, which I thought was very appreciated. The freeway noise next to the hotel wasn't too bad. My suggestion..... bring earplugs. Overall, my room and the property were super clean and welcoming! It does need some updating in certain areas. The next morning a customer told me he was told the hotel has had this known problem for at least the past 6 weeks. I told the female desk clerk that this was unacceptable and I would be filing a complaint with their Corporate office and she hung up on me. Great customer service. (And we paid the full price for 6 nights). We were forced to take cold showers nearly every day. Frankly I believe they are lying and simply have an inadequate water heating system. They use "boilers" and not on demand heaters. They should use on demand heaters ~ period. They instead chose to save money at their customers expense. I am shocked and appalled at how poorly this hotel is managed and maintained. I will never stay here again nor any Hilton affiliated chain hotel and neither should you.

Coffee and tea were provided, and housekeeping cleaned the room daily, which was fantastic. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. A couple of things to note: there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms--only available in the lobby--and the pool was closed for remodeling during my stay. There is a small but cozy exercise room, and parking was plentiful. Dining options were great. BlueWater Grill is perfect for casual snacks and breakfast (opens at 7am), while River Willow has a more upscale feel and is excellent for dinner with friends or family. I also really want to highlight my experience with Miriam the lady at the breakfast area. She was super kind and friendly. I shared with her that I was stranded and would need to get a uber back to the auto shop. She explained to me that there's no Ubers there but that she would gladly give me a ride! I told her thank you so much and that I would pay her and she said she would not take anything from me. We exchanged numbers but I never ended up needed the ride. Two days later she calls me to make sure that I made it home safely. She said she was worried because I'm a young girl. (I'm approaching 40) lol Such a sweet kind lady and I will always remember her kindness. Especially in a time when I was crashing out since I was having the worse 2 weeks that I've had in a long time. When it rains it pours as they say. Room door doesn't close automatically so pull to close. Dated, dinged metal door frames. Can hear the neighbors doors and everything else in the hallway (3rd floor) Only soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion-no Q-tips, cotton balls, other. Bed was comfortable with lots of pillows. It's an ok stop if you need it but I'd try another local hotel over this one.
