I didn't like the food I had here tonight, but that's not on the establishment. I'm used to eating a non-American version of Italian food which is head over heels above anything else. The friend I was with tonight totally enjoyed his meal and said he'd return. He tried my dish and found it very tasty, whereas I didn't. I've known him for over 40 years, and we pour the same foods and restaurants most of the time. I wouldn't return, but he would. They did nothing wrong, service was excellent, people were friendly, and the food was the way it was supposed to be. Hidden away in a strip center on western Glades, but be prepared to wait. We had a reservation, but still had a short wait. It's a fairly small, but very busy place, and the word about their good food, and value, has gotten out. Also, please note the size of their portions on the tables as you enter. They are HUGE! My wife typically takes home half her dinner, so I was not surprised when she did the same with her veal parm. However, I typically finish my meal, and I took home over half of my chicken scarpiello! And we both enjoyed our meals, as did our dining partners. One of them even asked if she could get a dish she typically gets at lunch, but did not appear on the dinner menu. Our server said she would check, and sure enough, she was accommodated. At the end of the meal, we all left quite full, with the next days dinner in hand, as did many of the other diners that evening. And although available, we did not order dinners for two. Just got home from my women's group meetup at Stallone's. We were 20 women and they handled our large group with ease. Our waiter, Ralph, was friendly and very patient with us. The busboy was sweet and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions were so large. I am sure that all the women in my group were very pleased with the food, drinks, and service. Not only did they increase their outdoor dining footprint, but we also noticed this clever modification that they made (themselves!) inside to create additional air space between each booth. First time visiting here with my brother and sister. We were sat down within 2-3 mins and greeted by our server immediately. The restaurant was very busy which was a good thing to see. Our server then took our drink orders and we then took a look at the menu. He told us about the specials and we ordered the baked chicken wings which in my opinion were not all that great. About 5-10 mins later we placed our orders. I ordered the pollo penne arrabiatta and you get a choice of soup or salad so I went with the pasta fagioli, my sister ordered the rigatoni vodka and got a Caesar salad and my brother ordered the chicken parmigiana with a Caesar salad as well. My soup came out and it was thick and I'm originally from NJ and all the pasta fagiolis that I ever had in my life were soupy. We also got a side of garlic bread. While we were waiting for our meals to come, I had noticed one of the servers picking his nose and digging really hard, walk back to get his tables food and then serve the food to them without washing his hands. At that point, our food came I took a coupon of bits and I had lost my appetite bc of what I had just witnessed, and he did not wash his hands right after. Ordered a pizza and salad for delivery. The pizza was only supposed to have olives on 1/2 but came with olives on the entire pie. On top of the salad already coming with the dressing on it, I've worked in the service industry for years and never heard of a salad to go with the dressing already on it! Love Stallones! No such thing as a bad meal here. Been here several times and so far their meatball sandwich beats every other in the area.

First off!! This place is awesome! My food is absolutely fantastic and the customer service is excellent. They deserve more stars. I ordered the lunch special with half a sandwich and Italian wedding soup and they put a chocolate chip cookie in which was an awesome surprise because it was not included on the menu. The sandwich is fantastic, the bread is soft and warm and the soup is perfect. The tortellini inside are cooked perfectly and the meatballs are big and very tasty. Definitely worth trying! read more

Four of us Went for dinner Sunday . While waiting for our dinners we decided to joint their loyalty club but were unable to do so. Hostess explained sometimes it doesn't work well on a smartphone and we could register from home and bring back receipt within 24 hours for bill to be added to rewards. Since we had a decent sized check we did just that. When we called and returned the following day with our receipt, we were informed that we were given the wrong information and that receipt could not be applied. I asked could there be an accomodation since we were not at fault and were given the wrong information. I was advised that it was not their policy and nothing could be done. I went to this restaurant for the first time not knowing what to expect. When I got there the place was 100% packed. I now know why. The food was great and the portions are huge! Enough for 2 really. The place is family owned and operated. The family tours the room and is asking everyone if everything is OK. I did not hear everything, but there was not a sad face or a returned plate that I saw. We just had catering by Stallone's for our daughters graduation. The food was perfect and we received many complements. Our choices were Chicken Franchese, Chicken Marsala and a couple pasta dishes. Ample amount and nice and hot when we picked up and got home. Pasta was "aldente" and delicious. The trays were strong and good quality and each was boxed in a clean box. We were very happy with the food and their service when we ordered and picked up the food. Stallone's has been my family's go-to for years. Like, since they opened. Usually it's good and consistent but recently I've found the meals that I've received to be just mediocre at best, and a rip off to boot because of cheap tricks. I've included a picture of the most recent disappointing dish: Cobb salad. First off, this dish consisted primarily of cabbage in place of where the lettuce should be. Now the menu says mixed greens and mixed greens usually means some form of lettuce. So the presence of these giant chunks of cabbage was confusing, and unappetizing. Additionally the portion is chicken is ridiculous. I'd estimate MAYBE 2 ounces. Its as though they take a regular size chicken breast and slice it horizontally into three pieces. My recommendation for this issue in particular is for Stallone's to actually serve a proper portion of chicken. The egg is also ridiculous. They cut a hard boiled egg into six pieces and serve 4 on the Cobb salad. Just serve the whole egg. It's stupid to order lunch and walk away hungry. read more

I was searching for an italian restaurant to bring my family of 10 together after a L-O-N-G separation. When I called Stallone's (truthfully, NOT my first choice) to inquire about seating a large party, social distancing and ability to make a reservation, I was greeted by a young woman who answered my questions and assured me that yes, they took reservations and that we would have a safe and enjoyable experience. And we did! We were seated promptly at a table in the rear of the dining room. A little crowded, sure, but not uncomfortable. Our server David presented the specials and took beverage orders. We ordered appetizers, two orders of the Caprese salad and one order of calamari. Both were delicious but the most comments around the table centered around the phenomenally delicious pickled onions on the salad! Salads and soups came next, all fresh and delicious. Entrees varied from veal to chicken to shrimp to eggplant. All were very well prepared and the portions generous. At the end of our meal, 9 out of 10 of us had "to-go" boxes. I was the only one to choose from the specials menu. I ordered the shrimp over saffron risotto. It was undoubtedly the best risotto I've ever had, my own included. The rice was studded with diced fresh tomatoes and spinach and a rich saffron essence. The entire party was happy with their food choices, the service (shout-out to the bus boys as well as David!) and the atmosphere. Stallone's quickly became a favorite for us all. I honestly think the people that posted all the reviews here were paid by the owner. This establishment was terrible. I arrived with friends during the day, ordered some gnocchi as i was in the mood for some good gnocchi. Stallon's must not make there own sauce, cause I'm sure some sauces from the can are even better than what they used with my gnocchi. When i go to a Italian rest. I expect ATLEAST HOMEMADE sauce. give me something to come back for. Anyway as my entree wasn't even worth saving, the guy serving us was on his phone more than even on his feet. We had to wait way too long for simple things like napkins, and our check. When we were the only people there, you would think they could be around to give us the check instead of making us wait 30 minutes after we ate...
