This is my favorite Staples in the area and it's a bit out of my way to get to, but it's well worth it! I get copies printed almost every week (color copies for school) and they always have my order ready when I arrive! I send the items I need printed to their email and usually within minutes the order is complete! Everyone is always so nice and greets me (and other customers) when they arrive! They are easy to communicate with and the job has always been right the first time! Even with laminated items! I highly recommend this Staples for print and copy needs as well as office supply needs! Another disappointing visit to this location. Again the only employee I could locate was behind the register. The item I wanted wasn't available in the isle(just like my last 2 visits) so I settled on a cheaper model. At the register the young man asked me "Did you find everything okay?" I mentioned that I wanted a different model and only the floor model was left. His reply "Oh that's not good!" and proceeded to check scan my items. No offer to check in back, check the inventory and see if the item I actually wanted existed in the back. Same with my last 2 visits spread over the last 2 years, basically being blown off and left unassisted. And still after making clear I settled for a cheaper model, he offered my a 2yr warranty for more $. They make it easier and easier to not come back. read more

Nothing special about this staples. There was a customer lecturing an employee about capitalism or something ridiculous. The employee seemed like he was used to the abuse. If anyone remembers the skit on Dave Chappelle called "Pop Copy" - this place is it. THIS IS NOT A COMPLIMENT. I have visited this store twice in 30 days and let me tell you - every single employee should be fired. In fact, they should be embarrassed. Their lack of care and concern for employees is shocking. The first time my Husband and I visited the store, we needed to buy three binders. No big deal - a $15 purchase. We waited, and waited and waited to have someone ring us up. We were next in line and another gal was working on a return that seemed like the building of Noah's ark. The Manager had asked another employee to help us and the response was "I am stocking." Really? Because copy paper and pens are WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN US. Finally, after two or three minutes the Manager acquiesced and helped us. Fast forward to yesterday: We needed ink for the printer. No one says hello, ever. The shelves for the printer ink are disheveled and not a lot of choices. We went up to the customer service desk and asked for a price. The gal (again not a hello at all) took it out of his hands to check it....not even looking up at us at all. We finally decided on a ink and got in line. Gal said, can help you over here (sounding like she was getting her teeth drilled by the dentist) - and when the transaction was done, never said thanks etc. Here is the deal - I may start just ordering my office needs online through Amazon because clearly my visiting your store and paying for product so you can keep your job is not a big thing. I've had a 50/50 of good and horrific experiences with this location. Back story is I started extreme couponing in 2014 and there are deals online that you can price match or other locations to match or glitchs where they just have the price wrong. I've had many experiences here with price matching like their policy states on every register they will do but it takes way to much energy to argue with management whom doesn't comprehend their own policies. Without reliving all the past I can comment on my most recent one on 8/22/15. I have received a Staples Rewards Member text reminding me if you spend $75 on ink you get 15% off. I just happened to run out and go over to pick up 2 boxes. To assure I hit the $75 I pick up the 4 season pack of black and colored ink in standard for $31.99 off the rack and I grab the same pack but in high capacity from the $64.99 rack. Mind you there are about 5 rows of each of these full of stock all the same. I check out and the $31.99 rang up the $64.99 price. I take the cashier over and show the two blank spots where I grabbed them from. I'm just expecting the one I grabbed from the single slot to be adjusted. According to the Department of Weights and Measures you are entitled to the lowest advertised price. She calls the manager on duty Jake over to fix it. Turns out they adjusted both to the $31.99 price which was like buy one get one free but I wanted to use my coupon. I ask Jake about buying another $64.99 one because I'll use the ink anyway and it will put me over the needed $75. He does one better and allows me to add it on but for some reason have the adjusted price on that one as well. I must say that this was at first a little irritating for 30 of the wrong product be in the wrong location but I got $190 worth of ink for under $90. Thank you for the helpful customer service. The location is pretty decent they have updated their displays inside and moved around products to better serve the public with. Their shopping carts are old and a disaster so use a hand basket or none of you can help it. I agree with other posts to not use the copy center as it's overpriced and slow. read more

You'd be surprised at what their print department can do with what you give them. Almost every time we go there we never have to wait more than 5 minutes to get something printed. Their prices are reasonable. And if you're a student or a small business, definitely consider getting the rewards card, and purchasing your own paper for them to use in your printing process. read more

I stopped in this location rather than my usually Roseville stop. Used the copy & print service and was shocked by the lack of care and consideration as well as the customer service. Walked in ( not greeted), and headed over to the copy and print center. There was a lady waiting in line as well as a business client at the front counter. They staff member didnt look up once and the lady in front of me looked pissed since the moment I arrived. Waiting, waiting, waiting--15 minutes later still no acknowledgment. Finally! Someone came behind the counter, surely to start helping with the now growing line. NOPE, she answered the staffs question and moved on. Two people who worked there.... walked, heads down.... no helping attitude at all. Finally, I asked " Look, cant I just grab my stuff & Go?" Geez, Please avoid this store like the plague--- I am sure there is another place to waste 20 minutes of your time. read more

I love this place. The manager Linda, helped me get a printer at cost for my foundation. She got me a printer that was a demo but new. She saved me 1/2 price. Then the computer techie fixed my computer for free when it just needed a little bit of tweekeing. They are wonderful here at this location!!! read more

I waited in at the front of the line mind you, while 2 copy center employees were talking. After a few mins of being ignored finally said something.. "Excuse me can you help me" The blonde girl with 7 nose pericings came over to help me out. But she insisted on being rude to me while doing so. If I wasn't in a hurry to get my midterm paper printed then I would've left. I had sent them to the printer four hours prior and they still were printed out she had to find my name in my email insistent on correcting me about my email address name. Needed an ink cartridge, and this store had the item in stock, and they matched the Staples online price. When I opened the container at home, I noticed the inner packaging had been unsealed, so I returned to the store to get another. The manager, Kaleina, authorized the exchange and also matched a competitor's price. Excellent customer service. Also, the store had very nice products on sale, including an very comfortable office chair and both portable external HDD and SSD HDDs. read more

EASY RETURNS MY FOOT! Today was the second time this year I've gotten the short end of the return stick from Staples. I will focus on today's experience..... On February 11th, I used a $10 coupon, that I had earned by recycling Epson ink cartridges, to purchase another black ink cartridge. It cost $12.84 (down from $21.89 with the coupon). I accidentally grabbed a #68 (the wrong kind) and not a #69 (the right kind). I am a working college student, father, husband, and home owner. I didn't get around to digging up the receipt and going back to Staples until today (March 4th). This should be perfectly acceptable considering I had the receipt and there is no limit on when office supplies can be returned/exchanged. I was told that the $10 coupon was no longer valid and I had to pay the full price of the new cartridge ($19.65) following a return of the $12.84 to my debit card. If you ask me (and I'm guessing most anyone else with common sense) the coupon's validity should be based in the original date of purchase. If you ask Staples, the coupon should expire when it makes them the most money. I guess, to offset Staples' ongoing theft from me, I need to start shoplifting from them once a year. read more

2 stars cause I finally found a decent binder! I haven't been to this location in years. I usually go to the one in Roseville. I came here to get a particular binder. It took me 15 minutes to look through all the binders on the top self... Every single one looked damaged... I was so disappointed because I wanted a certain color but the color I wanted for the 1 inch all looked like it's been used. I understand binders are going to get used up but I rather have it come from me to get used during when I'm in school.. Heh. It looks like the supplies just sit there until dust accumulates. Staples is usually my one-stop shop for school supplies. I usually pick up notebooks, pens, a binder, pencil lead, and binder paper. Last year I really loved their eco-friendly binder paper. This year they didn't have any. Booooooooooooooooo. I at least found the rest of my supplies including some awesome new Pilot pens, but still the fact that I didn't get my usual paper (a must for any college student) made the trip a little disappointing. I bought some wireless ear bud here maybe a couple months ago. I've only used them maybe 15 to 20 times when they have developed this obnoxious beeping tone in the background. I tried resetting them, charging them, everything and nothing works. I went to Staples and they were not helpful at all, and simply said since it was longer than 2 weeks they can't do anything. Prices are very reasonable for the market on all of the items and supplies that are offered and what I have needed and looked for. There has been times that I have wondered if they would have a particular item that I've needed and looking for and long and behold they did have it. Should they not have what I needed and wanted. One of the staff members would check and find the item on line for me and order it. To add to great efforts and service the item or items would be mailed to my residence. This place is mediocre at best. The staff does not really seem to be very attentive to its customers. I went in today to buy some copy paper. They had an easy rebate on the copy paper. Do you know how it works? You mail in your receipt and you can get a $5 Visa prepaid credit card. Why don't you just charge me $5 less. There's no reason why I should have to pay $12.99 for 750 sheets of copy paper. Way overpriced. I threw away the rebate form so somebody gets to keep the $5. Not worth my time to put a stamp on it send the receipt wait 3 weeks and then get a stupid $5 prepaid Visa card. What am I supposed to do with that? Just charge the prices that you want to. Rebates suck. And while you're at it try not to upsell me on some clear coating I can put on my tablet or laptop to keep it from getting scratched. It's not worth $30. I can buy a screensaver that'll do a better job than that less money. I don't think I'll be back. read more

I was very disappointed because I went to this Staples near my job to find a penlight. I checked online before going and it showed they were available in store. I got to the store and the clerk who helped me acted like he never heard of a penlight but he called for help for me...I waited at least 15 mins for someone to help me only to find out they don't carry penlights in store, they can only be ordered on line..what a waste of time. read more

This was my first visit to this location and also my last. I came in to print parts of my baby shower invites, and the guy who was working behind the desk was extremely unprofessional, and his responses were abrupt. He was helping the only other customer in the print center, and quickly asked me what I needed. He pointed me to the self print center, which I was fine with, but when I further advised I needed card stock for my prints and asked how to get that, he just brushed me off. 2 other customers came in after me during the 20 minute time period I was there. I started my print project and was patiently waiting 20 minutes for him to say something or bring the card stock I asked about, but I was ignored. He even went as far as to gossip with another employee about one of the customers who came in after me, and loudly expressed his feelings about being at work while the other woman working behind the counter should have been off work an hour ago. He also thanked the customer he had been helping for their patience, and still continued to ignore me. I finally left and felt compelled to leave a review about my experience. If you like being ignored and want to deal with passive aggressive employees, this is the place to go. read more

Every time I go here nothing is ever done right! There's and older lady doing prints and she's awesome but anyone else is a hit and miss. More times than not I've left with the incorrect product. I'm feed up! I just ordered invitations online and they didn't apply the automatic discount provided. So I called to get it fixed and they wanted me to call the service center to get the discount them call them back when it was done. Wth I'm not doing all that. People were totally right. I figured a staples is a staples, but the pickings were slim. I should give them the benefit of the doubt that they must have had a rush of people raid their shelves, but for some reason i doubt it. I went it to get a simple notebook, some graph paper and a couple of other items and left empty handed. I should have taken photos but the majority of the notebooks they had on the shelves were bent or damaged in some way and they literally only had three grapher paper notebooks. Thats it. You can tell when you walk in the door that they have limited inventory, it just looks empty. Maybe its the layout. Also, while i don't like to be bothered too much by staff asking to assist me, i literally had no one come up to me to see if i needed any help, when I obviously looked lost and confused. I was assisted by Mark, and I (and Staples) are very fortunate as such. Mark listened. He demonstrated patience, knowledge, and preparedness. I have grown accustomed to being approached in stores by sales associates who know little about the store's products and services, or how to listen and respond to customer needs, so I usually brush them off. At first, I attempted to do that to Mark, but he stood patiently by and engaged himself in my shopping by listening, watching, responding, and offering assistance, and along the way I learned he wasn't just a warm body, but was a person who really knows what he is doing, and takes pride in his work. What ever happened to customer service?! Every time I've been in here, I haven't been able to find anyone to help me. Today I came in for a computer chair and after three different employees walked by me without asking if I needed help, I decided to go up to the front and ask for someone to help me. She tried calling for help but her employees were playing on the phone instead of answering her question. Finally she got a hold of someone and told them to meet me in furniture. After waiting for a total of 35 minutes for help, they send the grumpiest human being alive to help me. It was obvious that she was irritated that I needed help. Service is good, but I'd avoid the copy center at all costs these days. I left Office Depot in anger only to find out that Staples did the exact same thing. The employee informed me of a rate hike in the coastal states. Two sided copies used to be $0.14 and are now $0.18, so I'd suggest just making two one sided copies. Like Office Depot, they charge for using colored paper as well. I guess copy centers these days are losing money. read more

My mind was just blown. Faxing my resume and application just cost me $23. Sending 19 pages through a fax line just cost me $23. I believe a fax line is $7/month, how in the world do you justify 1.25/page when you've not supplied paper or ink? That made me sick. My fault for not opening my eyes to the prices until I was halfway through the fax, I just assumed it couldn't be more than 0.15/pg boy was I wrong. Oh and now it's 0.59 to print 1 black and white pg, and .99 for color. Not for me though, cause I'll never stop in here again. read more

This is literally the worst office supply store I have ever been to. Both times I've attempted to use them for printing the customer service has been terrible the turnaround has been terrible and the finished product has been terrible. the girls working behind the counter were extremely rude in their tone and attitude as if their job was an inconvenience. the customer service was terrible and I will never ever ever ever ever ever go back. side note, I know this is 2015 and tattoos and piercings are more acceptable in the workplace, but having 7 in your face alone is very unprofessional and off putting. read more

The BEST office supply chain for back to school deals. They don't make you hunt all around the store to find the super cheap weekly deal, and they are in stock. Some require a minimum purchase but that can be easily achieved with their free after rebate deals. Their easy rebates really are easy. Just go to their website, type in the number on your receipt, boom the money is in your paypal account. I have racked up tons of free paper to donate to my kids' schools. read more

I stopped in there a few days ago and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. I did most of my business as the Copy center and Ronnie was absolutely wonderful. He took time to understand the problem I had been having at other establishments and helped me satisfactorily resolve them. He was swamped the whole time but took the time to make sure we all knew that he would be helped and multi-tasked as much as possible while waiting for things to print, fax, esc.
