Giving this place one star is being generous. IF you know exactly what you want AND where it is, you might be okay. Customer service is nonexistent. We were looking for an office chair- willing to spend over $200, but after 10 minutes of searching through a disorganized furniture area - with, often, no price tags on the chairs, we walked out. I've never seen a more cluttered, dirty retail store. The store in Folsom on Iron Point Road was tidier, but-- again-- lousy customer service. We went to RC Willey, instead- found what we wanted, got help & were out the door in less than 20 minutes. read more

I'm disappointed to find not 1 office chair in the store was made in the USA, or so I was told. The lazy boy chair I purchased (made in China - New Innovations) had to be returned for another because of defective workmanship. During assembly a threaded insert in the base of chair spun loose. Therefore I was not able to complete assembly or remove the bolt to take the chair apart and place it back in the box. Awkward to say the least. Dealing with the manufacturer, New Innovations, not La-z-Boy was time consuming and disappointing to find out it would take 6-8 weeks for them to replace the back ordered parts. The Staples store associates in Citrus Heights were very helpful, replaced my chair with an assembled floor model at no charge. read more

I was sent to this store by another store as I was searching for my L Desk. These associates were so helpful and nice. He had to do a long search. I was helped right away after entering the store. They loaded my item for me. Even though this store is further for me to drive to, I really was impressed with this service. They did a great job. read more

Good job that you are able to stay in business regardless of the little service you provide to your customers. Lucky they know what they want, and only have to stand in line to pay. Unlucky is the customer (like me) who has to wait 20 minutes for service before giving up and walking out the door. Thank goodness for Amazon where I can get advice and reviews. read more

Terrible customer service from "Ronnie". When my fax didn't send and there was no error message Ronnie couldn't take 2 seconds to tell me to put a "1" in front of the fax number. If it wasn't for Kaitlyn, if still be standing there. I will be calling and complaining. He needs to go. On the up side Kaitlin and the young man with the beard, Jordan?, were uber helpful. What a scam this place is!!!! There color printer is broke, therefore you have to use there labor services 1.98$ to print one color copy. Also they have no scissors and charged me another misc labor charge 1.98$ to cut the edges off my image. Also charged another 1.98 to reduce my image witch I could of done if there printer was working. So my print job that would of been 3$ ended up costing 10$. Save your money and time go some where else. read more

Every time I place a copy & print order it is done incorrect. The first time I ordered black and white and they printed color. At least they honored the black and white price. The second time I ordered Un-Collated, they collated. It irritated me but they said it was my mistake and I clicked collated. I did not argue with them. Now, the THIRD TIME and I specifically double checked to make sure I said Un-Collated. (I do not want to individually separate 600 pages), I pick it up and they tell me they collated it, I expressed my frustration and they again tell me it is my fault. I explained that I double checked and they then respond that maybe next time instead of printing 6 pages, I should create 6 individual orders. Well, there will NOT be a next time. I came home and checked my order and it clearly says Un-Collated. They have created HOURS of extra work for me, I will not be using Staples Copy and Print services ever again. read more

Copy center redirected me to self service copies when I had an important time sensitive project. As the clock ticked I tried to get their attention that it was out of paper.... Finally help was called in and then the paper jammed because the temp loaded it wrong. The deadline for the copy project was looming and still could not get help. Finally they broke away to assist and I had to bolt. Little did I know the machine also keeps your credit card. I called later that day and found they have a stack of cards. Anyone else go through this hassle too? I believe the credit card companies should also call them when a card shows up missing. read more

I went in to get a business account and was approved for credit and that was great and I thank Staples for that. Thats not why they get 3 stars, they get 3 stars because of the customer service and that I was there for way to long waiting on the printing person. Instead of helping me out and letting me get to shopping she kept helping everyone that walked up. She would put me aside and I would wait for 10 or so minutes while she helped the other people. Then she would come back to me and then repeat the process. Well, in doing so she jacked up my order and had to throw away 5,000 cards because she wasn't paying attention. I got a slightly damaged file cabinet that they had 4 of and when I got it home it didn't have any handles in it. When I called, the guy on the phone was rude and acted like he didn't even care about what was going on. I don't mind something being slightly damaged, but no handles, um, thats a bit different. Again, it was the lousy customer service that got them 3 stars. read more

Firstly want to thank the young man who helped me, he was very courteous and offered to refund my christmas cards, which I didn't need, but more over the print shop was bad at best. I ordered christmas cards online for my family and when I proofed them they had both round corners and a return address on the envelope. I called in to pick up and found an employee who referred to a "manager" who ended up being the same person who helped me late, i was told the print shop was behind and that it would be an extra day (this is 30 minutes before i am supposed to pick up). But when I came in (more than a day later) the cards are neither round or have the return address and when the guy helping me asked, the guy at the print shop told him that they don't return addresses and the don't do rounded corners. Disappointed that my christmas cards aren't what I ordered. Would not recommend to friends or family read more

I don't think I'll be back at this store again It seems only if you're dressed in professional business attire, then they will think your a serious customer and want to buy something .I was in there back in August trying to find blank DVD Media for my DVD Burner and I had looked everywhere. I stood near the checkout counter where I saw a manager there and I asked him several times where something was and he just ignored me the whole time and walked right past me. There were two people in there that saw exactly what happened and told me I'm sorry that happened to you that looked rude. Finally, I got someone to care and the lady in the copy / print center was nice enough to show me where it was so this review gets one extra star beyond what I wanted to originally rate it. The items I wanted to get were overpriced, so I went to the store across the street with the yellow tag and got a better deal. read more

There is a male manager at this location that lacks the SLIGHTEST bit of customer service, care or concern in his body. I visited in hopes of seeing the Google Nexus tablet. He could have cared less to help me; more important to sell paper clips, I guess. I KNOW IT'S LONG... BUT ANGEL EARNED IT! I live LITERALLY around the corner from this staples... due to the combination of convenience and my OUT OF CONTROL addiction to office supplies I am here often. The majority of the staff here have been pleasant but I have never felt like anyone has gone out of their way to be exceptionally helpful.... until tonight that is. After having issues with my printer at home I figured it would be easy to send my items online and go pick them up... or so I thought. Long story short I got there and they were nowhwere to be found. The girl working the print department was very accommodating and gave me another option. While I was working on emailing my items over to the store email she started to have a HUGE line build up that just wouldn't stop. I told her not to worry about me I was in no rush and to go ahead and help everyone, I even tried to lighten her load by helping an older woman in the self service area. By the time she was finished I had ended up figuring out a way to do it myself at the self service computer(way more expensive than just prints btw). She walked over and told me not to leave when I was finished and to come see her. She ended up refunding the money I had spent on the self service! She even gave me some extra of my copies that she had accidentally made too many of! I thanked her and told her she really didn't need to do that! She thanked me for being so patient and I told her I know how it is (I have been in customer relations for about 10 years). I let her know she handled it all like a boss. ****** I was having a bad day dealing with way too many things on my plate and in a short period of time and with great customer service she turned it all around. I came here to have my laptop computer checked because it was running slow. They did a diagnostic and found out it had several viruses and malware on it. It cost 160.00 to fix this issue and it only took a day or two to fix it. I feel they did a good job because my computer is runing faster now. read more

Customer service is really really bad. I actually bought color copy paper from this place to make my own copies at their center. Bottom line, they treat you like an idiot, don't want to help you and really all around make you feel like you are a big bother. Love Staples. Very helpful, and most of the time the price is competitive. Sometimes, they have specials on electronics (cameras, computer, GPS ...) that will beat any price around. When we have purchased extended warrenties and needed to uset them, the service far surpasses this store's competitors. read more

One star would be to many for this place. When I purchased a computer and antivirus software from them just over a year ago they made a typo in my email address so I never received the renewal notice. When my computer came down with a virus the store manager wanted to charge me $150 to remove it, and another $100 to download the antivirus software again. I felt since it was their mistake I should only have to pay the renewal fee of $60. I contacted their online customer service and the response was "I'd like to help you, but can't". So I wrote a letter to their corporate office but never heard back from them. My advise, don't give them the chance to rip you off, shop elsewhere! read more
