(Party City side) ((Wednesday Dec 24)) This was my first time going to staples with the new addition of party city. I was so happy to see party city was still around! In perfect timing. I had a birthday celebration. I went in to purchase (number) balloons 3 & 4 once arriving home the 3 popped. I called and they said to come in and they would replace it. I went back and got the new balloon. Once arriving home the 4 popped. The balloons were NOT close to anything that would cause them to pop. They popped from the inner seal. At this point I was frustrated. I called party city/ staples and they told me it was a one time courtesy to exchange the balloon so nothing could be done for the second balloon. I was disappointed but still needed a 4. I drove to my local dollar tree and just bought it there. I definitely appreciate the transparency and the one time courtesy. As a customer we are not always right however I would have appreciated if they would have verbally communicated their policy on balloons and exchanges at the time of purchase. Service 2/5 Value 1/5 Price 2/5 ~ everyone has different, so be kind~ The heart I purchased is still good hasn't popped and it's beautiful, did cost more so I'm hoping it lasts (Picture with ballon's near tv, nothing is hot. This location Staples is quite clean. There's ample parking in front of the store as it's located in a plaza. They have printing services as well as Amazon returns in addition to selling office supplies. Though some things can be pricey they do offer discounts from time to time. They also sell balloons and some party supplies with their partnership with Party City. The employees at this store have no customer service standards at all, particularly the manager, Mario. I asked 2 different employees the same question and got 2 very different answers, so I asked to speak to the manager. Mario could not be bothered to help me find the products I needed help finding. I don't know if he was having a bad day or not and honestly don't care. Stay home or take a break if you dont want to be there. I'm not surprised that the other 2 employees had the responses to my questions if they were trained by Mario. Reading through these reviews and I see similar complaints about him. I went to print my resume for an interview, and the experience was frustrating. The employee told me she couldn't help because she was working on orders and directed me to use the self-service printers instead. When I asked about the cost, she said it was 30 cents, but the machine was trying to charge $5. I only had cash, and when I asked about that, she told me it was card only without offering any further help. Overall, her attitude and lack of assistance made the situation upsetting. read more

Other times I may stop in when one of the kids has a last minute project need that I need same day. They usually have what I need and at a fair price. But earlier this week, I couldn't because the system is down. So, I decided to wait for another day to return it, and I did. I'm super proud of myself for finding this place, as the closest one I knew was shut down and torn down a year ago. One of the employees who helped me return my package was so straightforward and professional in her job. This place also has free WiFi, like many locations, so I had a fun time waiting. Great customer service here and great selection. The store is clean and organized. Only complaint is the bathrooms are scary! But at least they had soap and paper towels! We came here looking for office chairs. They were nice enough to answer me honestly when I asked if they would be on a black Friday deal within the next couple of days. They said likely, yes but cannot guarantee it. I came back on the weekend and I was able to use my Staples reward points to buy two chairs and Keyboard and mouse set. Very glad we came back here. This place and its service is awful. I came here to do my TSA Pre check and I had an appointment at 1:30pm. I arrived at 1:25pm and the lady up in the front told me that the guy left to go on his break and will be back in 30 mins. When I told her that I had an appointment at 1:30, she just said "he usually times his break around the appointments". Okay and?? It's 1:30pm and now I have to wait another 30 mins to be helped. Well I went here to return my Amazon shipment at this location and the store employees kept moving me back and forth from the register and UPS station and then finally the store rep told me I had to buy a package that seals in order to return my Amazon product. When I go to the UPS store they don't make me buy anything to return the Amazon product so why does Staples follow this policy? I left and returned the product at the UPS store down the street off Katella and Knott. They are much nicer and customer friendly. read more

A while back way before Covid the Mister bought me this enormous printer that also has a built in scanner. At the time I thought it was a waste of money but he bought it anyway. He used it for his graphics, printing T shirt designs, sticker designs, ect. I started using it for work. Let me tell you, this printer has been the best thing ever. It allows me to scan double sided documents, email them and save onto my USB card. I've been here countless times to make large quantity of copies. I've also been here just to snoop thru their deals on things I don't need. Customer service is always friendly. Staff always welcomes guests the minute they walk in. Once in a while though it's hard to track down a staffer for help. Tons of back to school supplies and things for teachers. read more

Hands down THE WORST service I've ever received at any printing service. We had come into this location right when they opened and wanted to get some papers laminated. The girl said that they were busy (there was literally nobody in there lol) and she hadn't turned on the laminator yet (totally fine, I get it they had just opened, it can take a while to heat up). She told us to come back in about an hour. we had a couple errands to run prior to going to work so this was no problem. We ran our errands and came back about 3.5 hours later and talked to the same girl. She acted like she had no idea what we were talking about and that nobody dropped off papers. We politely reminded her what the papers look like / what they said. She said that she remembered us from the morning time asked why we came back so soon. She rolled her eyes and claimed she told us to come back at 5pm. This was so not the case. Since I needed these laminated for work, I would have told them to forget it if it was going to take 8.5 hours to laminate 5-10 pieces of paper. I asked her why she told us one hour if they weren't going to be done until 5pm (I also asked why it would take until 5 PM when there was literally nobody else there.) every single person that had walked up while we were waiting in attempt to get a service done, both of the girls behind the counter said " we don't do that here" or " you have to use self printing." They hadn't assisted anyone aside from Amazon returns. She said there was no way that they could have it done before 5 PM. I asked for my papers back and I ended up taking them to fedex a few miles down the road and they completed my project in about 6 minutes. Lesson learned. read more

He has the personality of a door knob, laughs in customer's faces and makes up rules as he goes while attempting to offer customer service. I was disrespected today by him while shopping and redeeming my Staples Rewards points in the store. His outrageous behavior lead me to contact Staples. By chat I contacted Staples about his demeanor and lack of customer service skills. They apologized, emailed me a worthwhile Courtesy Coupon and are having Management investigate the matter. I appreciate Staples response since I was ready to close my Staples Rewards account and shop elsewhere. This was my first visit to this specific staples. It was huge, clean, and well stocked despite it being beginning of the school year. Plenty of sale items for school. My favorite part of my visit was the customer service I received from Alexis. She was so patient and extremely helpful when she had a line of people. Way too complicated process and the lady (im guessing here) at the counter was completely useless & unhelpful After 15 minutes, I left and went to FEDEX. Came to the print center today around 4:50pm and was instantly "greeted" by the rudest employee. There was no one in line but he acted like I was inconveniencing him while he sat behind one of the computers. He said to "give him a minute" and I continued to wait with no one else around. Finally he asked what I wanted without getting up. I told him I had a file I wanted to print, 2 per sheet. He then asked "on paper?" as if this was the oddest request he's ever gotten working in the print center. He again said to give him a minute. So I continued to wait. Finally he walks up to the counter, throws a card down, and says to email the file. No problem, I send it over. Meanwhile I watch him have another rude interaction with a customer while I wait. Once he finally wraps up, he gets my email code and starts working on my order. He doesn't show me a test print, he just prints the entire order and then hands me the most absurd looking invites. He printed them to literally be approx. 2 inches by 1 inch. And acted like they looked perfectly fine! Am I sending invites to elves?? After a lot of back and forth I end up paying double what I should have because he can't figure out how to print 2 per sheet and I have to have them printed 1 per sheet instead. During this whole interaction he is letting out sighs as if every customer is annoying him and he's openly complaining to another employee. Next time I'll head over to Office Depot. read more

Went in today to get some assistance on some printing work had called prior to coming in to make sure they would be able to assist and they said yes. As soon as a I walked in at 7pm there was only one employee a guy with a mask & dark hair extremely rude from the start. I had no idea how the process of printing a custom item would be hoping he would help, and did the opposite gave me anxiety and made me feel worse. This place used to be my go to spot for school supplies and other essential but no longer will be supporting a store with rude customer service left with no prints and just frustrated. PRINTING HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. as many other reviews here state, the dude with the man bun in the printing department is HORRIBLE. him and the short girl were both being super passive aggressive to myself and all the other customers there, even though no one was being rude to them. i had ordered a banner and after waiting an hour in the store for it to print, it came out on the wrong size paper. the guy said the bigger paper was all they had and the cutter is too small to trim it so there was essentially nothing they could do. not a huge deal, i wish someone could've told me that an hour ago so i didn't waste my time, but whatever. but when i started asking questions to try and understand what happened, dude went ballistic. he had no patience and was EXTREMELY rude and hostile. he raised his voice at me and caused a scene threatening to cancel my order because i'm "badgering his associates" ??? when literally all i did was ask a couple questions trying to understand why my order was messed up and what to do from here. i even said multiple times, "i'm not trying to be difficult i'm just trying to understand what happened..." etc. then the short girl tried to blame it on me saying it printed that way because i placed my order wrong and she would show me the ticket to prove it. but when she did, my ticket had the correct dimensions on it. so at least get your facts straight if you're gonna yell at customers... bottom line is don't work in customer service if you're gonna take everything personally and be a d*ck to everyone you interact with for no reason. i work in retail myself and i have NEVER treated a customer the way i was treated tonight. i was polite to him and tried to be nothing but respectful and problem-solving and i was met with pure hostility and a disgusting attitude. i have awful social anxiety and cried my entire drive home. i cannot believe this guy is still allowed to work here, especially after seeing how many other people on here have had similar experiences. i hope someone in charge takes these reviews seriously and will take some action, because his behavior was absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. shout out to the manager that i spoke to afterwards who apologized for him and said he'd write a report. young male, i think either african-american or mixed. only decent employee in the store tonight! read more

Parking is ample since the stores located in a strip mall. Opened it exactly at 8 o'clock as advertised. Prices are competitive with other suppliers, and we had a coupon! Stopped in here to get a three ring binder for a elementary school secretary's desk. The selection of binders is overwhelming, they have so many. So I was very confidently assisted by Sheri who found the color I was looking for. But then at the checkout with Lita, the secretary I was shopping for FaceTimed me and wanted two additional binders. All different pretty colors of course. Lita radioed Sherry and she brought a selection for us to choose from... right to the counter. True five-star service at this Staples. I have been helped by 4 or 5 employees here and each have been so incredibly friendly and helpful. Each has gone over the top to help me complete my projects and I've watched as they do so for others who come in and need help. Sara(h?)
