If I could give 0 or negative stars I would. Going here is torture! The ONLY reason I go here at all is because it is the closest to where I live, so I have been tortured by this store approximately 15 times in the last 6 months. I don't think I have ever waited so long, so many times for the simplest things. What is worse is that it isn't a particularly "busy" store. It's just that the employees look cowed or scared or like they want to run from customers. Today -hit an all time high when I had to go get printer ink because I had to ship products and print labels. I had my exact printer model #, I asked for help from an associate and after looking it up in the computer, her phone and then spending 20 minutes looking at the confusing wall of INK, she got me the WRONG INK. NOW, I have to drive all the way back there and WAIT IN LINE AGAIN to exchange it. I called the manager - WAITED ON THE PHONE ON HOLD FOR 20 MINUTES, to tell him what happened, and all he did was offer a small measly discount off the correct ink. Not caring at all that I have lost an hour out of my day, driving, gas and frustration. This store's manager has NO IDEA how to actually make people happy. If I could give this place no star I would have.The customer service at this location is horrible. Especially the workers in the copy and print section, they are rude and very unhelpful. You can tell from their faces that they do not want to help you. One time I had a quick question over the phone I waited 30 minutes but got no answer, so I had no choice but to drive there and ask it because it was really important. CHECK YOUR INK!!! So, I've gotten frustrated here before when looking for items that they didn't have, in the past. That however isn't even why I am giving them a low rating. *I wrote this about 3 months ago but forgot to click "post" Over the past 3 days I've been back to the store 3 times all over a stupid ink cartridge. So I bought an XL version of the ink I usually get. Actually, I almost didn't, I was waiting in line with it and decided to check on my android for a cheaper store. While I was standing there, the manager cordially said "She'll be right with you, just checking her system" or something like that. I said "no problem", then my phone showed it at a store down the street for about 3 bucks cheaper. It was worth the 2 minute drive so I put the ink back on the hook and went to leave. As, I'm exiting the manager gives me this WTF look. I said, "found it cheaper at another store". He offered to price match. After seeing the price he said they wouldn't match it because I would get 10% back on my staples reward card and then could get 2 bucks to recycle it. He offered to check my card to see if I had any unused rewards. I thought I might since I've never used it but bought a laptop, computer desk, some journals and other assorted stuff there but it wasn't so. I decided to buy the ink there and get the rewards since it would work out to be about a dollar cheaper. So I get home, it clicks into the slot but the printer doesn't recognize it. I go back the next day to exchange it. The same manager is there, but now he's looking at me kinda suspect. I get that he's doing his job, but still. The same girl that rang me up the first time looks at the cartridge, mumbles something like "It's good", then the manager grabs it and starts inspecting it like he's inspecting the hope diamond. I thought he was gonna pull out a special ink cartridge loop or something! Then he grabs a similar cartridge from the recycle bin and hand-measures the weight or something. Then he simply walks off. Even the cashier (who reminds me of Michelle Rodriguez) just throws her hands up like "Okay?" She says, I'll just take care of it I guess. I grab the High-Capacity cartridge I usually use and she does the exchange. So, I get home and a while later I decide to put the ink in. I notice the box is open even though I don't remember opening it. Whatever. They must open the exchange when you return an opened product. I pull the ink out and it's an open XXL cartridge! I call the store and they say, oh the cashier must have made a mistake. Just bring your receipt and we'll fix it. I make it back over there the next afternoon. Faux Michelle Rodriguez is there. Awesome! Hopefully she'll remember me. She does. It's a different manager today, however. This time the exchange goes smoothly and I open the box and check it right in front of them. The cashier even mentions that they have problems with people putting used cartridges in a new box and gluing it shut. She looked at the box and said thats what it looked like happened. So after the whole ordeal I got my ink, but I'll be damned if that wasnt an annoying experience! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Worst customer service ever! This review is based on two bad experiences at this place. I only come here because it's the closest one to my home. However after today, I will never set foot in this hell hole ever again. Every single time I've come to this place, I've been treated with complete disrespect and with the worst attitude possible. If you ask a question to the employees at this place, all you get is eye rolls, rude responses and finally get completely ignored. The first time I had a bad experience at this place was a Christmas. I came in to have some holiday cards printed out. I ordered the cards two separate times, and each time the order was not processed and never printed. I had to pay for the cards both times and was told that my money would be refunded once I picked up my order. You can imagine the frustration after having paid for two sets of cards and having received none. To top it off, every time I would ask for help I would get the usual attitude. The second time I had a bad experience at this place was tonight. I went in with my boyfriend have some copies printed off of a USB drive. When I plugged it into the printer, it would not except the drive. When I asked one of the employees at the print center for help, I was made to wait about 20 minutes before being acknowledged. When I was finally asked what I needed help with and I informed the employee that I needed paperwork printed off of a USB drive, she responded with an attitude, "We don't print things off of USBs for customers. It takes too much time." She then went on to lecture me about why they don't do it and that it would be at a loss for the company to have an employee sit around and print copies for a customer. Isn't that what a print/copy center is for? We needed the paperwork so I just asked her to do her best. After waiting another 30 more minutes for her to print 5 copies of the same page for me (she had walked away), another employee asked what we wanted (they were closed at this point and wanted to kick us out). He kept us waiting another 10 minutes doing other things before he finally came to check us out. He asked if we have a Staples account and we said, "No but we don't need one." He then started asking for our name, phone number and email address anyway. We insisted that we didn't want a Staples account. We finally paid the 65 cents for the 5 copies we made and left. This place has made me feel like an idiot every time I go. Do yourself a favor and drive somewhere else for your office supplies, copies and prints. read more

Worst place to copy and print. I went to print something out and I was charged for slow internet service. In the end I couldn't even print it out because of how slow it was. Waste of time and waste of money. At least they refund half of my money. Never coming back to print. read more

Incompetence like no other by the manager. I get there looking for an Amex/visa type gift card for a birthday. The manager pointed me to the section where they have gift cards and they all are either staples, stores or restaurants. As I'm standing there looking for amex/visa gift cards I ask her if they carry any amex or visa type gift cards and she says all they have is what is in front of me. Well the section right next to it has a variety of amex/visa/mc credit cards at various amounts... About 60-70 of them. She has no clue what they stock and/or carry. So after I get the gift card, I ask if they have any birthday cards and envelopes. She says they don't have any but they have hallmark cards. Hallmark is a brand, not a word for birthday cards and they had a whole section of birthday cards, get well cards, blank cards etc. How someone who has no idea of what the store carries earn a managerial role here is beyond me. This Staples is just a joke. One member of the staff, I forget his name was very nice and tried to be accommodating, but the other person at the printing center was so uninterested in customers that I wanted to complain directly to the manager. I only pop in here once in a while, because sometimes my printer doesn't want to recognize my computer, so if I need something printed out that day or quickly I run in here. The problem is the printer that is hooked up to the computers they have is NEVER in working order. Every time I come in I expect that it is going to be fixed (which I guess is really my own fault), every time they tell me it's out of toner and they have to order it. REALLY!?!?! You are a store that sells office supplies, you don't keep the toner you need for your printer stocked? So then I have to borrow a flash drive, save the doc, stand in line to have them print it out and what should take 5 min turns into a 15 or 20 min ordeal. Plus, the last time I went in my sunglasses were stolen. Just not a very customer friendly place. read more

worst service ive ever been to for copy & print center... went there 3 days in a row. 1st 2 days they were close because of heat weather...i have never heard of that before. closed because its too hot outside. then that 2nd day the store was open but the copy n print was close again. then finally when they were open which was the 3rd day they tell me they never received my email which i got confirmation that they did receive it n told me to resend it waited for an hour or more for nothing. they only received 1 email again n not my other 2 emails...waste of time. so i decided to go to another staples that same day n asked if they were close for 2 days too due to heat weather they were, what!?! if the a/c is down they put a fan up. they were open the whole time thru the heatwave. will never go to this staples again!!! read more

This review is merely for their lack of care for customers and employees. The conditions inside the store are unbearable. Came here tonight to escape the crowds but I wish I would've not bothered going in. That place is a serious sweat box. The weather outside is currently 94 miraculously the temp inside is 100+ and very stuffy. I'm with the LAUSD and I will make it known to my teachers and students to avoid this place until the issue is addressed. Additionally I will see if the employees are currently being represented by a union as this is not good for their health or the health of its customers. This may seem like a bit farfetched and over the top but we currently are not an occupied nation thus basic human rights shall still prevail. This place is SO BAD!!! I was the first customer in the morning, I left 8 papers to be copied and laminated at 8am, she said it would take 15 minutes, but I couldn't wait I had other important errands to run so I told her I'd be back for them. I came back almost 2 hours later and as soon as I get there she starts working on them. Her attitude and her male co workers attitude was so horrible I didn't want to be there any longer than I needed. It's safe to say I'm never coming to this Staples location EVER AGAIN!!!! read more

I took my computer in because it was running slow. It was returned with a virus from a hacker that basically held all of my docs and photos hostage. The technicians never bothered to determine the best means of restoring my data. Eventually, the manager who is not well informed recommended the hard drive be sent to a lab which does not even deal with viruses (I found out later). I paid way too much for nothing and, when confronted with what I had learned, manger lied. What a rip off of a place. read more
