I decided to look on Yelp and see what the best-rated iPhone repair we is in Temecula. JI repair was on top of the list. It's located in Murrieta and I gave them a quick call. The person I was dealing with was professional and knowledgeable about the repairs. I feel like with investing a little I would have graduated from the eighth version instead of spending more money. Long story short, I stopped by the shop and they offered to replace the damaged screen with a high-quality screen protector and make a repair on my busted camera for only $140 instead of spending $700 or so for a new version. I didn't feel too confident at first about this phone working again. I was surprised that JI did an amazing job and it came out as if it were brand new again. Everything is operating as it should be with no issues at all. The work only took three hours and the price is quite affordable. The technician was thorough with their delivery. I told them upfront about the issue and clearly said that if it couldn't be fixed, I'd just go through insurance. The staff promised they could repair it and quoted me around $300, so I trusted them and left my phone. After that, it was one delay after another--they kept saying my new screen was "on the way." When I finally got my phone back, it started flickering and shutting off within just a few days. I brought it back, thinking it was under warranty, only to be told that they wouldn't fix it and that the flicker "wasn't covered." The manager, Brennan, will say whatever you want to hear just to get you to leave your device. It's all talk until you've paid, and then suddenly the story changes. I feel completely taken advantage of. If you value your phone, your time, or your money--go somewhere else or use your insurance instead. This location is unreliable, misleading, and not worth the risk. Easily the worst repair experience I've ever had.
