    2021 Toyota ch-r

    I had a great experience purchasing my 2021 Toyota C-HR Nightshade at Star Mazda. I want to give a huge shoutout to Neil Napier for his transparency and professionalism. Unlike other places, Neil showed me the full worksheet with the selling price and all fees before even running my credit. Now after running my credit the finance guy Magdy was also very helpful not pushing anything on to us just talked about options overall very pleased with their service

    We came in to look for a second car for the family. Asked the sales rep to run the numbers on two models -- he left to "check" and never came back. After a while, it was clear he was just gone. We spoke to another rep and asked if the trim we were interested in was available. He said yes. We asked to see it, and he said, "Why bother? Just look at this one in the showroom." The one on display was a fully loaded version, but we were asking about a lower trim. The trims are very different -- most likely the interior and features too. He told us, "I'll just explain what that one doesn't have. No need to see it." The whole experience felt like they didn't care about helping customers. If you're looking for a Mazda -- go to another dealer. P.S. Their service department is excellent. We recently had a CX-90 in for a recall -- everything was smooth, with live cameras, updates, and follow-up calls. Service is solid. Sales -- not at all.

    After visiting this dealership's service department for the past year, I am still blow away by how amazing their customer service is - all of my sentiments in my first review still hold true!! I've been coming in since finding this Mazda dealership for regular maintenance and oil changes etc. But last week my car wouldn't start. I had to get a jump from AAA (glad I didn't need a tow lol!!) - and I was a little overdue for my next oil change so I called the Mazda here and they immediately got me an appointment. Nathon was my service rep and he was just as awesome as Jerry!! Super friendly - he and everyone I interacted with was over the top nice and informative. Not too long after arriving, they had texted me my video link with a full report on all my car issues. I needed a new battery, oil change, and new tires and they gave me such a great deal - I was beyond impressed. Even my husband was surprised!! The team here always seem to go above and beyond to make sure our needs are met at the best price - this is truly the only service spot I feel like I'm not being swindled at or ever having services pushed on me that I don't need - I can't recommend them enough! Huge ty to the service team over here at Star Mazda - I'll definitely be a long time customer!

    Warning lights

    After they serviced my car -- washed it and changed the oil -- the instrument cluster started showing multiple warning lights. I went back to them, and they offered to keep the car until the following week and give me a loaner, since the headlight was already scheduled to be replaced under warranty. In the end, my car stayed with them for a month. When I came back to pick it up, they refused to replace the headlight under warranty and claimed there was also a problem with the car's wiring, which supposedly caused part of the electronics to stop working and needed replacement. Before their intervention, everything was working perfectly except for the headlight. They refuse to admit any fault, and now they're billing me $7,000 and saying the warranty won't cover it.

    Raymond helped my husband and I find my CX-5 and I am so happy with it. He was a delight to work with - approachable, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He also has a great sense of humor and made the car-buying experience a fun one! I first met him when I was test driving a variety of makes and models and appreciated that he wasn't pushy while I was exploring my options. Once I'd narrowed in on the Mazda CX-5, he helped us choose the best year and trim to fit our budget and outlined all the tradeoffs of each. After purchasing, he didn't let us leave the lot with the new car until we had every question answered, and has even followed up to make sure everything is going well with the new car. Highly recommend working with Raymond if you're in the market for a new vehicle!

    Since we bought our car here a few years ago, we've been taking it here to get serviced for regular maintenance (oil changes). I came in Friday for an appointment and was impressed by Armond -- super professional and good vibes. Appreciate the multi-point inspection they do as part of the service and discovered that our windshield wipers were bad and needed replaced. He didn't pressure it to be done asap but I decided to take care of it bc I noticed a few months ago that the wipers were essentially hovering during a heavy rainstorm but clearly forgot about it until this inspection! Thank you for keeping our vehicle in great condition and also safe to drive! Also got a lil bonus of a car bath since it was filthy and I just returned from an international work trip and didn't have time for it. THANK YOU and see you again.

I was trying to look for a shop that would be able to do everything at once ASAP (a One-Stop shop if you will). I found this shop and I'm satisfied with how detailed and communicative they were throughout the whole process (shout-out to Anthony!) Past shops have never given me a detailed report with pictures, status of wear/tear, and written explanations for the recommendations for my car, and it was so nice to be able to cross reference everything. Anthony was so knowledgable and took the time to explain all the "why's" for the recommended services. "Recommended" was very much emphasized throughout our conversations and the inspection report that's given to you is clearly color coded with Green (Checked & Okay), Yellow (May Require Attention Soon), and Red (Requires Immediate Attention) so you can opt in/opt out for any services based off the findings. A clear timeline for the service was communicated to me and I was able to pick up my vehicle the next day (probably would've been same day if I didn't need new tires).They also offered a free shuttle service after I dropped my car off and washed my car after the service was done! Most shops see this thing pull up and suddenly everybody disappears to 'lunch,' but not here. Maria and Cesar handled it like absolute veterans. Maria was at the front desk looking so good I almost forgot why I came in there in the first place. Customer service was flawless she had the whole place running smoother than my truck after the service. Meanwhile Cesar looked like the final boss of diesel mechanics. Dude walked up to the truck like he'd wrestled lifted suspensions in hand-to-hand combat before breakfast. I'm pretty sure at one point they needed FAA clearance to work underneath my truck, but somehow they got the oil change and fuel filter done fast, clean, and without launching a socket into orbit. Truck came back running perfect, no leaks, no problems, and no 'check engine light surprise package' two miles later. My truck is on a 12-inch lift with 42-inch tires, which basically means it's less of a truck and more of a mobile observation tower. Small children look at it the way people look at monster trucks at a county fair. Most oil change places take one look at it and suddenly say things like "our lift is down" or "we don't service... aircraft carriers." Not these guys. They walked out, looked up at the truck like they were inspecting a skyscraper, nodded, and got to work like it was a completely normal Tuesday. One of the techs climbed up there like a Navy SEAL scaling a building. Next thing I know, oil change done, no drama, no weird upsells, and nobody needed a ladder from Home Depot. Truck runs great, still sits high enough to change the weather pattern in Glendale, and I'll definitely be coming back. 10/10. If your truck is ridiculously tall and slightly irresponsible like mine, these are your people.

I ordered a used replacement from eBay and after it arrived I looked for a body shop that could install it. After reading glowing reviews, I called Hyperion to ask if hey could schedule the installation, expecting to wait a few days. Instead the guy on the phone said to bring it in at 10:30 the next day. I didn't get there as a tweak in the door itself caused my overhead lights to stay on and drain my battery. I arranged for a friend to take me home, expecting to leave the car for at lrast the afternoon. But manager (I did not get hois name) said it would just be a half hour. He called over a ytechnician and 20 minutes later the car was ready! I had some body damage and the manager quoted me a price apologetically, noting that Lexus Parts are super expensive. I said well, it's a 15 year old car - probably isn't even worth the cost of the repairs. I started to walk away and stopped, turned and said, "Wait, I haven't paid you!" And he said, "no charge". I was dumbfounded and only hope I thanked him emough. Great work, fast, and even complimentary. I'm in awe. Go there!
