XL senorita bread with Cream cheese & Ensaymada
    Mel J.

This is a small Filipino bakery in a commercial area near Dutch Bros. You have to order the bread and other baked goods at the cashier so there was a short line every time I visited. - XL senorita bread with cream cheese: the bread was soft and fluffy. The cream cheese gave a tangy and creamy taste to the bread. - Ensaymada: my favorite! The bread was soft and buttery. The buttercream on top was sweet and creamy. - Turon: sticky goodness! The wrap was crispy and sweet (but good sweet - not overwhelming). I wish there was bigger banana piece inside.

Oh. my. goodness! I haven't had star bread in a long time. I am from the Bay Area and this was so dang good! I ordered the spinach croissant and 15 piece senorita bread! It melted like butter as I took a bite. I placed an order on door dash. I am very satisfied with the order. I plan to order again soon. My feet are dancing as I write this review.

Looking for Filipino food? Specifically Senorita bread? Well, if you are in Roseville, look no further, this is the best place to get your Filipino food cravings. The service is quick, the people working at the counter were so nice and helpful. The inside is organized and clean. I do recommend you take your time looking at the displays of different items for sale at Starbread Bakery. There's a lot to choose from! I definitely will be back. Thank you again!

    Yum in a box!

Yelp Review: Malasada & Pastry Heaven - Speed, Warmth, and Absolute Delight Let's talk about a masterclass in culinary excellence--from order entry to DoorDash drop-off in less than 15 minutes, and yes, these golden delights arrived warm. That alone deserves applause, but then you get to the real star of the show: the malasadas and turnovers that redefine indulgence. We went all in: Bavarian cream, Nutella, lemon malasadas, and apple turnovers--and every single bite was a textural dream. Light, fluffy, perfectly fried, and dusted in just the right amount of sugar, each malasada had a generous filling that wasn't too sweet or overpowering. The Bavarian cream was smooth and velvety, the Nutella rich and decadent, and the lemon filling? A bright, citrusy punch that balanced the sweetness like a symphony. The apple turnovers were no slouch either--flaky, buttery pastry enveloping a warmly spiced apple filling that could make you believe fall exists year-round. The Triad of Culinary Perfection: * Food: 10/10 - Fresh, flavorful, and warm on arrival. That lemon malasada alone is worth a pilgrimage. * Ambiance: 10/10 - Okay, so we ate these at home, but the sheer joy they sparked? That's ambiance enough. * Service: 11/10 - The speed alone defied logic, and everything arrived in pristine condition. If you're craving a pastry experience that feels like a warm hug and a sugar-kissed dream in every bite, this is it. Absolute perfection.

Don't be like me and let years go by before trying these delicious pastries! I moved to Roseville three years ago and somehow went a whole year and a half without realizing this place was right down the street--serving some of the best "Señorita" bread you'll ever taste. This Baseline location has been here since 2019, and it's a small, simple shop with a counter to order from and a few refrigerators stocked with drinks and frozen Filipino snacks. It's a true grab-and-go spot: walk in, choose your box with however many pieces of deliciousness you want, pay, and you're on your way. Service is always great, quick, and friendly. Do yourself a favor and try the premium pastries they have on display--you won't regret it. And fair warning: when you get that warm little box or bag of happiness in your hands, it's almost impossible to wait until you get home before eating one. Enjoy!

WHY I WENT HERE: - check out the Roseville location for Starbread and pick up some Filipino baked goods THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in a plaza off Baseline Rd in between Foothills Blvd and Brady Ln - located nearby Dutch Bros Coffee THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - small & humble - some pre-baked bread choices on the left in front of the cash register (like you would see in Valerio's) - some pre-made goodies (savory and sweet) behind the glass display SEÑORITA BREAD QUANTITY & PRICING: - 5 pcs for $3 bag - 10 pcs for $6 bag - 15 pcs for $9 box - 20 pcs for $12 box - 25 pcs for $15 box - 30 pcs for $18 box - 35 pcs for $21 box - 40 pcs for $24 box - 45 pcs for $27 box - 50 pcs for $30 box - 55 pcs for $33 box - 60 pcs for $36 box CUSTOMER SERVICE: - was helped by 2 women; the cashier was younger (20s) and the one fulfilling my order was middle aged (50s to 60s); it was funny when the older one referred to me as ate (I'm in my 30s) - warm, welcoming, fast OVERALL: - happy with the various sweet and savory baked items I got

I was looking for filipino bread places and thank goodness this one is here! I got the ube bread and it was GREAT! It was so stuffed with ube. Sometimes I buy these elsewhere and there's empty space. THIS ONE IS FULL so I loved it! It was my favorite thing I got there and it wasn't too sweet! The pandesal was good too and then the senorita bread I wanted to try. I live in Hawaii so they have spanish rolls. The senorita bread is like a sweeter, less buttery version of it I would say. Atmosphere - Walk in bakery - get your stuff and head out. Service - The cashier was nice. Cost - To be honest, I don't remember. I'm going to guesstimate $12. I bought a bag of pandesal, ube bread and then 3 - 5 senorita bread. Parking - It's in a plaza with other stores so there's parking and I went in the morning on a weekday so there were a lot of spots open. Location - There's a Dutch Bros nearby and some restaurants so you'll be able to find it. Yes next time I come visit, I'm getting this ube bread again! They had a lot of other pastries and goodies too!

If you've never had señorta bread, then you are deeply missing out! It is literally heaven in the form of bread. It's always one of the first things to run out when we bring some to events. When eaten warm, the bread roll is super soft and the butter and sugar filling is all melted and seeped into the dough. Fair warning because when it's hot, the sugar can burn your tongue. I try to be patient but it's not easy! The Roseville location is easy to get in and out. Inside they have senorita bread and various other Filipino baked good, desserts and food. Things like flan, empanadas, lumpia, suman, soipao, breads, malasadas and nuts. Everything is delicious and fairly priced. You can also order larger orders of lumpia but they need at least a day notice. Service is usually very fast and friendly.

First and most important star: Pushkin's is predominantly vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free -- and bakeries that truly excel in all three are one in a million. For anyone with allergies or dietary restrictions, this place feels like winning the lottery. You can actually relax and enjoy treats without feeling like you're settling or taking a risk. Second star: the employees are incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate. One guy (nose ring, long blonde hair -- didn't catch his name) was amazing. He knew the pastries inside and out and patiently walked my wife through allergy questions about dairy-free options, putting her totally at ease. And trust me, my wife can ask a thousand questions (till u wanna choke her).. Another employee -- a short, curly-haired, very light-skinned/mixed Black woman -- was just as gracious when we asked about cashews for our daughter. Both of them were beyond kind and knowledgeable. Third star: great coffee. I only had an Americano, but it was really good -- smooth, rich, and exactly what you want with pastries like these. Fourth star: the place is clean, organized, and clearly well-run. It was busy, but the team handled the crowd efficiently without feeling rushed or chaotic. Fifth star (the fun one): the pastries are ridiculously good. We tried a bunch: * chocolate mud cookie -- perfect crunch on the outside, chewy inside * cinnamon-roll-style pound cake -- super moist and flavorful * cinnamon roll scone * almond cake with raspberry ...and several others I didn't catch the names of. Everything was delicious. You'd never guess these are vegan/gluten-free/dairy-free -- they're just straight-up amazing pastries. Bottom line: Pushkin's is a gem. If you have dietary restrictions, it's a must-visit. If you don't, are you sure you don't? Maybe you should? it's still a must-visit. We'll absolutely be back when in town to check out the cafe and real food items !

We ordered several items and so far the flavors just weren't as good as before, which was a little disappointing. Keep in mind I only bought pastries. I won't be back for those. The baristia that helped me was overall nice but the coffee itself lack many things and I was very disappointed. I ordered the Shaken Espresso and asked for sugarfree vanilla with regular milk. They only have 1 size so you don't have much options to choose from. After trying it, I felt like I was just drinking a whole cup of milk, it didn't have ANY espresso/coffee taste in it at all. Note they only have 1 size so its like a large size coffee cup. I brought the coffee back and had asked them to remake it and the barista informed me that it only comes with 1 shot of espresso per drink thus thats why it taste so milky. 1 shot? What? I was so shocked, in such a big cup I would expect at least two shots since the total of it was over $7. Anyways I asked them to remake it with less milk and 5-6 minutes later, it honestly ended up just being worse than earlier... Now it just taste very watery, like a diluted espresso and I can't even drink it. She was nice and helpful but I was disappointed I couldn't enjoy the coffee like I wanted to. So I just tossed the whole cup away, what a waste.

She also said, "didn't you see the sign outside the door?" That was rude and inconsiderate. The door had not even shut yet. As a matter fact, I was holding the door. She did not come up to me privately she said it in front of everyone in the place. I guess she didn't recognize me because I've spoken to her numerous times and it's always been pleasant. She's also been there when I brought my Service animal who's 4 1/2 pounds in with me and I ate there. Nevertheless, I'm not coming back. Words are powerful and the attitude and the fact that she didn't even let me get in the door & as soon as I got through the door, she started in. That was not OK. It's really sad to see that a lot of places in Roseville have become anti-animal when in fact Roseville when I moved back, here was not that way at all. And she may not realize that some people have service animals for mental health issues or trauma and finesse and real considerate when addressing someone with an animal is imperative. Especially since you don't know what they've been through. Again, thank you for your response.
