Altho I gave a 5 stars for their señoritas. I'm gonna give a 1 star for the mochi . Look how they gave it to me. Looking at their other branches they put this in a flat box so that it could be presented laid out neatly.... This girl stacked it. And smushed all the icing- destroying it. Senorita bread ' 15 pc for $12. Unfortunately i was not able to take a photo of the pricing. But this is starbread and this is why they are popular among the filipinos. Starbread specializes in senorita bread and they are also very warm whenever you order. 1 senorita bread is about the size of your pam but it may get you full after 3 pieces. They do require you to still have a mask upon entering the bakery and 1 person allowed inside at a time. There is no waiting when making an order. Delicious and warm! I was recommended to try these out from a friend! It was for the señorita bread. These breads came in packs and I got a large one to share for this holiday weekend. Best when it was warm, but surprisingly brought them to a hockey rink and they stayed warm for longer than I truly thought. This bread is soft and the perfect amount of sweetness and dough. Thankfully I for the largest pack because these went so QUICK. No one in my family had ever heard of it and now it will probably be tradition for our 20+ family gatherings. I bought a total of 40 and it was around $25, these little bread rolls will FILL YOU UP! Heads up to order early, but it can happen for a walk in, but don't leave it up to luck!!! This is a small bakery whose major product is the infamous Señorita Bread. I bought a box of 40, cost $32. And the box was hot - couldn't really touch the bottom of the box cuz it was so hot. We did manage to try out 4 of them while still warm. They are delicious! I was afraid the bottom layers would be squished because they were so hot but later they turned out fine. They are a big hit if you're going to some potluck. Can't compare them to what other locations sell as this was my first time buying them. In fact, I had never heard of Señorita bread before. A relative asked me to pick some up. I would buy again. Wish there was a South Bay location though! read more

Terrible. It was a woman who ordered before me and her and the lady taking her order were talking for about five minutes, just taking their time like I was not there. Her bread took forever to come out and once it was my time to order my bread came out in two seconds. The bread was hard and still cold, it's like they didn't even care. The one in Sacramento is way better with way better service. Will not be coming back. read more

Covid protocols- they require a mask for service and one person inside at a time. I don't mind it- I'm for businesses doing their own requirements. Idk why people complaining about their own back of house not having masks- they prob know if they don't have covid bc it's their own people! Service has been decent here- no issues for me! They only allow one customer party at a time within the store. Came at 5pm when it was empty and they weren't closing for at least another hour, and there was one lady behind me when I entered the store. The tall man behind the counter seemed to be in a very bad mood and kept rushing us to finish our order. It was our first time at this location and he seemed annoyed when we asked questions about their other items. He was so hostile, I felt uncomfortable and bad for being there, so I said "sorry for all the questions" and he responded with "don't apologize to me, apologize to the customers waiting outside" and I looked and it was still just that one lady!!! At that point, we had only been in the store for 3 min. Starbread - $3 for 5 piece increments. It was good, but size is 1/3 smaller than the other locations. Mochi donut - $4 mediocre, you're better off going to ModoHawaii for more options and better texture and taste. Wouldn't order again. Cream cheese flavored senorita bread $3 for 3 pieces. As of today, they still require masks and allow one person in the store at a time. We saw the line so we decided to check this place out. 2 stars because the only thing I liked about this place is they serve their Senorita bread fresh. When we got ours, they were still hot and soft. But I don't think I would ever go back here again. The bread is way too small and too sweet. Maybe some people like it too sweet, but it was just too much for me. We also tried some of their other displayed baked goods, and nothing special about them. I'd rather go to Valerio's. I used to go to the starbread bakery in daly city, so that is my standard for starbread. For some reason, the starbread here does not taste as great which is kind of sad because that means I have to go all the way to daly city just to get some starbread. The service is generally fast, but they only let one customer in at a time, so it can be slow if there is a long line. it is a small shop in a plaza, so there is not much to see, they also do have some other desserts, but I did not really look much since I just came for starbread. I don't know if I'd recommend this spot for starbread, but if you needed to have it, this might help the craving. read more

I used to live in the Bay Area and since I was visiting this time, I'd stop and get some to bring home. The guy working there was about the rudest person I've ever come across. Really shouldn't be facing customers. Their senorita bread was good back when I used to live here but this time around was very disappointing as they were much much smaller. I love the original star bread location in south city and was so excited when this spot opened near me. There was no line, got the bread warm, and fast service. Unfortunately it was a let down. This store specializes in baking and selling Senorita bread. Although you'll see some donuts and other bread also. Once ordered, you've to wait at least 10 minutes until the senorita bread comes out warm and depending on how many you ordered, placed in a nice box. Once you touch a piece of senorita bread, it smells like it just came out of the oven. And when you take a bite, you'll taste soft and sweet and melt in your mouth. It'll take only a few bites to finish just one piece but every bite makes you want more. Once you take one, you'll keep on taking another one and by the time you realized it, you've finished a whole box. A small bakery located near the rear of a strip mall in Union City. At the moment, there is a limit of one person and mask required to enter the bakery. There are a decent amount of bakery choices to purchase. My favorite item to purchase is the senorita bread. They are small rolled bread with a warm sugary topping. You order them in groups of 5 for $3.00. When you receive them from the cashier, they are usually warm and sometimes hot (fresh) from the oven. The bread is best eaten on day of purchase because bread and sugar firms up as the bread cools down. I have tried some of the other bakery items and all of them were delicious! read more
