My very sweet but refreshingly cool frappuccino

Convenien location for zipping in for a quick afternoon coffee fix. Since it was warm out I settled for a chocolate chip frappuccino. Decedent and sweet it was cool and ever so refreshing. There wasn't much of a crowd so it was super quick, and all the staff wore masks. Oh, and be warned the chips get wedged in the straw! Good location for a quick coffee

I don't typically leave reviews but I felt like I needed to. The service here is absolutely outstanding, staff were so kind and accommodating and seemed like they have a great environment. This was my first time visiting this location and it won't be my last! The drink and food here are really good too.

Love this location on Elm Street in Auburn! Quiet, clean and great service. Best of all is that they post their stores "vision" on a blackboard: Spread Kindness." And they have a basket that says to take a note/leave a note. I picked a note that said: "Have a great day and respect the people around you." Kind of a nice reminder. . . .

Today was the first time coming to the Starbucks because I had an interview and Auburn my Mom order three drinks and we ordered two iced white mocha us one was decaf with soy milk one was the 2% and regular caffeine and one tall white mocha decaf the drinks would've been a lot better if they would've been a little bit more generous with the whip cream they literally put just a little tiny bit on it usually when I go to any other Starbucks they will fill it up a good amount but it's just pretty sad when you pay $4.75 for your drink that you're only getting like a little tiny bit of whip cream the barista In the drive-through was friendly but this is just a note to the Starbucks be a little bit more generous when putting whip cream on drinks don't just give a little dab

Stopped here on our way home from Reno. Friendly service, clean bathroom and my Grade soy mattcha was made perfectly. What more can I ask?

The cashier was friendly. The barrista looked at me as if I called him a derogatory name. I asked for a cup of ice; my tea was right there.

Same for the cinnamon roll. Even after 6 hours and starting to dry out a little, STILL yummy. The sourdough loaf is magnificent. The quiche was for my wife. I am not really a quiche guy.....and even that was good. I am going back tomorrow.

I just happened to come across The Baker and the Cakemaker and, of course, I had to stop in and see…read morewhat they had! There were plenty of goodies to choose from like pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, cake slices, brioche bread with fruit, cinnamon rolls and several other products for sale. Their cake of the week was a mocha cake! It has layers of chocolate cake with an Expresso milk soak, frosted with expresso buttercream frosting with a chocolate ganache drip, topped with cocoa nuts... WOW!!! The artisanal breads are located on the side of the shop when you walk up towards the case. They have many flavors like roasted sourdough, pumpkin seed, kalamata olive, rosemary & lemon, and more! All breads are preservative free and made with organic flour. I decided to try the flourless brownie along with a ham and cheese croissant. I wanted something sweet and something savory. The flourless brownie was definitely my favorite of the two. It was rich, chocolatey, and had that creamy texture that you want from a good flourless brownie. It was a good size, too! The ham and cheese croissant itself was good and had a nice flaky texture, but I really wish there had been more ham and cheese inside. It felt a little light on the filling, especially compared to the size of the croissant. I absolutely enjoyed the flavor and flakey texture. It was a perfect crossiant, minus the ham and cheese part. The inside is cute but be prepared to get cozy with only a small amount of space to sit. Thankfully, they also have some outdoor seating if you want to hang out and enjoy your pastry there. I didn't get a picture of indoor or outdoor seating because they were a good amount of people enjoying their dining experience. I guess they know where the goodies are! Here! Overall, I liked discovering this little spot. Between the pastries, croissants, artisanal breads, and other goodies for sale, there was plenty to look at and definitely a few things I want to come back and try... and I'd for sure grab another one of those flourless brownies!

The day before the race, I arrived in Auburn (my first time ever) to pick up my race bib and to look around to take in the local culture. I was also hungry after flying into Sacramento and driving another 45 minutes to Auburn. I'm vegan, so I searched for local places that offer vegan options. Nectar Cafe was at the top of the search results. As luck would have it, Nectar Cafe was just a short walk from where I parked my car, and just a short walk from the Start/Finish line of the race. Man... I am so glad this restaurant exists. The food and the service were great. I had the Southwestern Wrap and a brownie. I was so happy with this place that I knew I had to go back the following day after my race. And that's exactly what I did. The following day I had a BBQ Burger with their own house made patty. And this time I had even more dessert. All the desserts are vegan, and they are awesome! I tried all of them. The chocolate chip cookie, the brownie, and the chocolate mousse were delicious. I highly recommend Nectar Cafe. Really. I highly recommend them. I look forward to eating at Nectar Cafe the next time I'm in town.

I'm going to dream about the nachos I ate. And the bite of cauliflower tacos I stole from my friend. and the brownie I also stole from my friend. It all tasted so fresh and light which is not a word I would use to describe nachos, but it's the truth!! honestly my only note is just the kind of service. the food and vibe of the establishment feels much more suited to a dine-in wait-on type experience, but that's truly just a preference! I can't wait to come back with more friends so I can try the whole menu!!
