Driving from Las Vegas 2 times a week, I seem to be in an abusive relationship with this Starbucks. Half the time the ladies room is without paper, the toilet paper is almost always empty and the seat covers are used up. Today I found the handicap stall door ripped off the hinge. Leaving two filthy stalls and a line. The staff ignores requests for servicing. It's my halfway mark, and with easy on/off freeway access I keep hoping that it will be improved. Save yourself the disappointment and waste of time of getting your order wrong and go to the Lenwood location. I've given the Main St location numerous tries only to have something wrong with my order almost every time I have gone there. Today was the last time. The bagel bites were cold. The iced latte light whip had no whip. 1st time trying the vanilla cream cold brew it looks nothing like pictures nor how I've seen them ordered at other locations. read more

Good luck using mobile order they frequently claim they didn't receive your order or it's not ready upon arrival. Good luck if your order is correct. So nothing new here.. apparently no one at Starbucks cares that every review of this place says "slowest Starbucks ever!". I got here at 5:50am and there were 5 people working and 2 people in front of me in line. I ordered a grande flat white with almond milk and a egg and cheese sandwich. It's 6:21 and I just got into my car. Drew took my order and walked away after she told me to "insert my card" and never came back. Apparently she didn't put my order in so finally Kim asks me "what did you have?" I start to tell her and like 3 words in she starts the milk steamer and rolls her eyes at me and says "I can't hear you..." Um yeah, no shit. You just turned on that machine. Anyway, She starts to make my order (no apologies for the wait) hen she tells Drew that she didn't enter it. Drew claims she did. Neither look at me or say a word to me. It only took 10 mins from then for my coffee and egg and cheese sandwich to be ready. At one point 4 of them were all standing in the same spot and talking and I'm thinking "how can all but one of the 5 people scheduled be in this spot and not one of them is making a coffee drink"... BUT WAIT, I was wrong.. just then the 5th person scheduled pops up from where she was kneeling on the ground in their group chat.. so ZERO of the 5 employees were doing something related to customer service or coffee making. Great work gals! Just kidding. FYI- I could've had breakfast at a restaurant in less time than it took to get a coffee and PRE-MADE egg sandwich. Kim and Drew were especially awful at their jobs but since no one was working I'll go ahead and say a complete overhaul is needed here. Or at least a word from the district manager. The only reason I am giving this place a 1 star is because of how dirty their bathroom was. It smelled , papers on the floor. Just dirty! I realize a lot of travelers come through and use the bathroom but still it s a Starbucks and it should maintain cleanliness. I've never been to such a shitty Starbucks in my life. They have a drive-through that they take precedence over the line inside the store. Nobody knows how to make a drink there if their life depended on it. First they don't put any carmel in my iced caramel macchiato. Then when I asked her to put in the regular amount she purposely fills up half of the cup full of Carmel and gives me attitude. It's disgusting I can't even drink this drink. This Starbucks and the one on Lenwood Road with the drive through each have one employee that purposely screws up drinks. The sad part is management and corporate know it and refuse to do anything about it. Pay attention to your drink before leaving. You may need to have it redone!!! Stopped here during my move across the states. With my 3 kids in tow I was dragging. The guy at the counter was kind, courteous and incredibly helpful. I couldn't be more thankful for the great service and extra care he took for my order. The drive thru line was very busy during my in-store visit, but they were very quick to get my order out. I've visited a LOT of Starbucks in my life and NONE of them are anything like this one. If this is a franchise, they should revoke it. First, i take my kids to the ladies room. It is so horrific that i was appalled. We stormed out. As i was waiting in line for coffee, i counted 8 flies in the display case housing all sorts of bagels and cake pops. I told the lady at the register about the bathroom and the flies and she said it's only display, the food won't get eaten (except for the fly buffet going on). On a side note, i went next door to the gas station and they have outdoor entrance restrooms and the ladies room was very clean! read more

This is the perfect halfway point stop from Vegas to LA. Right next to a gas station with plenty of parking, so it's easy to fill up and get your coffee fix at the same time. Due to its location, expect a wait for coffee and bathroom. I would say there were 10 people ahead of me in line when I got there. The shop itself is pretty large with a lot of seating. Seriously, the title sums it up. When traveling from central CA to Vegas several times a month, I usually stop at the midpoint, which is Barstow. By then, my coffee as filled my bladder to an almost offensive level, so a clean bathroom is basically a magical oasis amidst a desert full of joshua trees. Theoretically, you could stop across the street at Barstow station, but you're going to get inundated with tourists, screaming children, and other general annoyance. Starbucks, on the other hand, has wifi, is really clean, has a friendly staff, and has great, clean bathrooms. Oh, and good coffee too, but that's a given. Why did I remove a star? Because the hand dryers in the bathroom are literally the loudest hand dryers I have ever heard in my life. Like, they're so loud they are jarring. I don't think they're broken, since they've been like this since they were newish, but good god. . . it's so loud! You might think I'm being really persnickety right now-- and maybe I am-- but seriously, listen to the hand dryers in the women's restroom some time and tell me I'm wrong. read more

They're always super quick, even when they're understaffed. Plus they are the only starbucks within 30 miles, and I always need a pick me up in Barstow when I am on my way home from Vegas (midway point FTW!) Disgusting! Bathrooms haven't been cleaned since the day before. There was a line of over 16 people ( I counted the unmade cups lined at the espresso machine) and the baristas were all laughing & joking around, slowly pacing back and forth. Clearly their manager is mediocre or was absent that day. All the customers were irritated and complaining to each other. One lady even added, "I've never seen a Starbucks this horrible in my life."
