I came here on the 25th of September and wanted to write a review thanking the woman who was the cashier that night (and I think store manager?). She single-handedly saved me from getting in trouble at work by finding and reprinting my DRIVE THROUGH ORDER receipt from hours ago while also balancing some very difficult customers. She kept her composure, had GREAT customer service, and honestly deserves the world. I was the only one in line and ordered a drink & sandwich. Shortly after they became busy with a line to the door. I was driving from Las Vegas to Sacramento so I did not want to waste my time. I waited 20 minutes then asked if they "Forgot" my drink. The lady said that the drink sticker machine was not working a little bit ago & asked what I ordered. Then she made it & I left. Probably not the most efficient Starbucks in CA. These baristas are so worried taking care of mobile orders and the drive up window that they forget they have actual customer standing right in front of them. To top it off, after people where getting their drinks and they ordered after me. I asked if my drink was coming up. It was sitting at the espresso machine, got finished being made and dropped at the counter. No thank, no sorry here's your drink. Worst Starbucks I've ever been to. Of course being from Barstow you know to keep your standards low, but this place is horrible even based on that. I've been wanting to write a review on this Starbucks ever since it opened, but never got the time. Since day one this place has been bad, either the staff is not properly trained or they just don't care. The lattes ALWAYS have a burnt taste, they are either too sweet or not sweet at all, and your lucky if they fill your cup all the way. This is what you have to look forward to after waiting in a line for 25 minutes and spending $5 for coffee. The ONLY thing this Starbucks has going for it is the location right off the freeway. My advice for travelers passing though is to save your self the agony and go to the Starbucks in Lenwood. read more

They messed up and have forgotten on so many of the customer's orders whileI was standing and waiting. They also forgotten or lost my orders. The staff were still pleasant although it was super busy. This crew is working hard and a smooth as possible under the circumstances. It's a very hot day with a lot of traffic on I-15. This seemed the first Starbucks in quite a distance coming back from Las Vegas. So the line went out the door and the drive through was long too. One person took the orders as the drinks were made by the others keeping the production going all around. We ordered several items: drinks, sandwiches, pastries, and only half our order came. It took several times getting back in line and still did not get everything. After 15 minutes, our last item, a brownie never came and when we asked for it, they didn't heat it. Then we asked them to heat it up and waited another several minutes before it came...cold again.
