This Starbucks location sucks in that the amount of seating to be found is very very small. It's been a while since I've walked in here, but I'd say there are about 5 tables inside and three or 4 tables outside. If the weather's nice, you'll probably score a table in the sun, but if it's a cold winter day, chances are slim to none that you'll get a seat. Let's just say that if you enjoy to go to Starbucks to pick up an espresso drink and read the paper, this ain't the place to go to. read more

**Based off Drive Thru experience only** Nice and friendly staff that is able to move the drive thru efficiently without any issues. I usually go here whenever I am in the area to grab my quick cup of coffee. I have been here a hand full of times and never had any issues with my coffee order. Always good service, but the lines are crazy when the nearby schools let out! It feels like all the junior highers are hanging out in front, waiting for a ride. That gets annoying. Also, even though it is in a large shopping center, parking is a pain. That area is always busy. read more

Just wanted to update my review from 4/30 regarding mobile orders. As stated in my prior review, I enjoy this location because customer service is superb and the staff is friendly. I was happy to see that there's a sign at the pick-up area indicating that mobile orders may be picked up there. LOVE this one! Is in my home town, and it was actually the first Starbucks I ever had, years ago. But I love their drinks, and I used to come here almost every day with my younger cousin and some friends. Or just by myself. I only lived like a block away. Brought my mom here a lot too. My favorite thing was to come here on a cold fall or winter day, especially between October and December (the holidays), and get me a pumpkin spice latte with a pumpkin spice muffin, and just read a good book at one of the tables. Or study. Then go do a little shopping at some of the stores in that shopping center. It was also right across from where my (Ex) husband worked. I come to this Starbucks when I'm heading to Raley's or that side of the freeway. Typical Starbucks with WAY better customer service than the Solano one. One of the ladies even remembers my face now and my drink. That's always a plus. The only thing I don't like about this Starbucks is that sometimes it gets filled with young kids who loiter and take up space or just makes the line long. Excellent place for coffee and a relaxing environment. I've been coming here for 6 years and not once have I had a bad experience. The best baristas are Ashley and Alex, both get my drink perfect every time and know what I want when I walk in the door. Always so friendly and I leave feeling happy. Avoid coming here around 2:30-3:30 on weekdays though unless you want a ton of loud middle school kids to deal with. It seems to be the parent pick up spot in town. read more

Ok I don't often go to the Starbucks in Southampton because the manager has always treated me horribly and I have complained a lot. Again this morning no different she was expediting. No hello no anything one customer in front of me 4 in back she asked all 4 customers in back of me what they wanted, never acknowledging me. When the young man took my order of drip coffee she yelled we have no pikes place so I told the young man I could wait. She said they were busy so I choose another . The young man told me sorry we do have pikes place. Really. I'm asking my friends not to continue ur to support this Southampton. One. Please used one of the other stores. If you're in Benicia, this is the ONLY starbucks you should come to. The other two suck, are inconsistent, and ruin drinks a lot. Although this location is smaller than the rest. The staff are awesome and make your experience one to remember. I'm not a regular, but when I do walk-in they know my name and my list of drinks I like to choose from. The place is always clean. However, a lot of kids will come around after school... very annoying but part of the location. It's right off the freeway, so its perfect for a quick stop before leaving town. read more

This is my favorite Starbucks -- and not just in Benicia! The food and coffee is good; typical to what I generally expect. However, at a chain like this, a five star is about more than the food and drink quality. The atmosphere here is very nice. I come in often and 1) I can generally find a seat when I arrive, if not shortly after, 2) there are plenty of plug ins for the computer, and 3) seats are good quality and comfortable. Also, the service here is good. The employees are friendly and try to learn who their customers are. This is a popular place for people to stop through, and they don't have a drive through, so there are often long lines. However, the long lines move quickly. read more

I do wish they would do away with the two big chairs and just put some regular tables and chairs there. That way there would be more seating. Its funny how people complain about such little seating at this Starbucks but for us living here thats cool enough for us because if there were more seats, we'd have to deal with even more WiFi Moochers that can't afford internet at home..... I used to like this Starbuck's because it was convenient on the way back from working out. I used to also like it because it had a drive thru window and you could get a coffee pretty quick. Well this weekend it all went to H#$%. I ordered the usual, an extra hot latte thru the drive thru, and this time I was in a hurry because I had an apt. I received my order promptly but when I tasted it something wasn't quite right. It was pure milk and they had forgotten to put in the espresso. So I had to turn around, park, get out, stand in line, explain the situation etc. I thought maybe they would apologize, I thought maybe they would want to correct the problem immediately but NOPE, not here. The counter guy proceeded to pour it out inspecting it as if I had made the story up. Then he wrote up a new cup and gave it to the barista who had a ton of orders so I had to wait and wait and wait. Not quite sure why he just didn't have them add the espresso to the existing drink. Then when it was finally done he just said here you go. So incredibly rude, I guess I won't be going there again. read more

Today I went to the Starbucks 5 minutes from my house. When I went in, there were customers eating at tables but NO ONE in line or waiting for an order. I waited while the 3 male staff chatted about personal things. When one finally began to take my order, they continued to have their conversation. So much so, that the cashier could not remember any of the 3 items I ordered. I asked them if my business was interrupting their personal conversation and they were dumbfounded. I told them I would let them continue their socializing by taking my order to Raley's coffee bar in the same shopping complex. I did that and Raley's had excellent customer service. Thank you for showing me that Raley's is so much better to deal with because they have longer store hours for better service with a good product. It is nice to get this out of the way because I just moved here in January. I won't waste my time and money in Starbucks anymore. read more
