It is ridiculous to me to spend money on overpriced coffee; however you aren't paying for the coffee at Starbucks. You pay for the service. I know that at Starbucks you'll find different characters--rude people, people in a hurry, indecisive people, and more--from people who need to get their daily fix. Regardless, you would expect Starbucks to have superb service especially since they sell coffee internationally and they are a major coffeehouse chain. They are the mainstream and the model for the thriving coffeehouse industry and I expect a certain level of excellence. Based on my experience today, I might as well get my coffee from a machine and a machine would be more efficient since the service at this location was pretty slow. I am overall satisfied with Starbucks as an industry standard, but this location falls very short. Personally I would try smaller coffee shops. I do prefer Coffee Bean or Peet's Coffee or Tully's to have some variation. I do enjoy visiting small coffee shops for a change of scene. Again you are paying for services. My experience in the non-Starbucks coffee house is, for the most part, is great personable services and friendly baristas. I would think that's important in the hiring process. I like to feel like I'm talking to a human being when I order my coffee, as rare of an occasion as it is since I am a social (coffee) drinker. Services do vary from day to day and person to person, so I'd give this place another chance. You often get gift cards for Starbucks and it seems to be the thing these days, so there will be more visits to Starbucks. A lot of the tables are pushed to the corners and, oddly enough, this coffee shop was incredibly wide and spacious. I'm sure it gets busy, but somehow I don't feel I could study there. This Starbucks is within walking distance, but I would most likely be willing to bus to another location. There should be very little variations with making coffee, so you do expect consistency in what you order from location to location. When something tastes bad, it's because someone messed up, which was the case with my friend's coffee, which he said sucked. Also he might as well have ordered a "ghetto latte" with the way it was prepared. Today I ordered the Caramel Brulee Latte since I can't help but try a new holiday specials. It is not overwhelmingly sweet, but it is sweet. I'm not sure how I feel about the caramel candy pieces, but it was otherwise alright. It could have just been a bad day for them, but still, there are other Starbucks and there surely are other coffee shops. In sum, I give this Starbucks 1 out of 5 Stars because my latte was alright, my friend's wasn't, and I'm heavily disappointed about the service. read more

Is sad but I don't understand why workers don't get it. Eating is an experience not a product you buy. Today I had a bad experience with one of the workers here and even do I am s coffee addict I am thinking about never buying something at Starbucks again. If you had asked me to review this place six months ago when I first started coming to this location, my review might have been in the 1 to 2 star range. Thankfully this place has upped their game and hired competent, friendly staff in the past few months who are not only efficient but anticipate my drinks more often than not and have it ready for me when I arrive. The parking lot situation is regrettable, but they can't help that. Overall I'm glad this is my neighborhood Starbucks. read more

Starbucks is Starbucks they are always consistent so I'm not going to review the drinks. This location is clean and has a small parking lot in the back I never have a problem finding a spot. Above ALL the employees are super friendly this location you can count on them to brighten any morning with a nice attitude and a delicious cup of Joe. read more

Spacious Starbucks location. Parking lot bigger than most locations but still tough to get a spot sometimes. Plenty tables and seats inside. Great place to meet people and chit chat or even get some work done. Place is kept pretty clean. Staff seems to always be in a good mood here. read more

If it was cleaner it would be an easier five stars. It isn't crazy unclean, though, we're still comfortable to hang out here, just some cups that a couple of careless customers left on tables during our visit. It's clean inside this Starbucks despite the number of homeless people in the neighborhood. Myles was on the bar and made our drinks perfectly, no questions, very knowledgeable and confident. He enjoys his work, you can tell. At the register was Navy vet Jeremiah who was also confident, knowledgeable, and had a good sense of humor. For the first time at a Starbucks I didn't feel weird or uncomfortable asking for ristretto shots, and he didn't get confused or ask a ton of questions about it. These guys know the menu and they're very good at their jobs. I would definitely come back here, hoping both Myles and Jeremiah were here! It's a Starbucks... However, one of the slowest of them all. Even if there is only a few people in line, it will take a while to get your drink. If it's busy, you will not get your drink in any less than 15 minutes usually. It's clean though and staff is friendly, just takes an awfully long time for some reason. I used to work at Starbucks when I was younger, so truly is kind of bizarre why it takes so long. Anyways, definitely will still get your caffeine fix here eitherr way. read more

It's on my morning route so I stop here on my way out. The parking is lot is always full and best accessed off Olympic rather than Fairfax. I've used it to have meetings since the place is big with lots of seating. But, it's a dump and seems to have been filled with left over furniture. read more

I am a loyal fan of the coffee at Starbucks. This particular location is convenient for me during the work week. The crew here is always cheerful, my name is known, my coffee preference is also known- However at times I do crave the Clover for a change up! I also am able to use them for business- I call a large order ahead of time, go in and pay and they help me out to the car with large pastry and coffee orders for breakfast meetings in the area. Large location, friendly staff. Found myself a neighborhood I'm not normally in. I usually order on the app and pick up but happened to drive by so went in. I expected it to be packed like many Starbucks are on a Saturday AM so was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick, friendly, and easy.
