    Winter Latte
    Karren D.

Such a great respite from the overcrowded ness and sugary drink offerings of Starbucks. And because it's only a 1 block stroll from the cedars sinai hospital, it's also a great escape from the dreariness of being in.. well..a hospital. I've since been craving their WINTER LATTE w/ THE HAYES VALLEY ESPRESSO. The WINTER LATTE has juniper and pink peppercorns. If you're a coffee connoisseur or latte snob who's bored of the same seasonal offerings of peppermint or pumpkin spice, this is for you! Truly artisanal with a perfect balance of smoothness and richness...not too sweet..not too bitter. Best taken with a ceramic mug and saucer. Truly savor it. I paired my latte with their EGG & CHEESE BREAKFAST SANDWICH W/ Fresno chilies. The egg itself was perfectly formed in a rectangle shape. It looks upscale and I love it! Great taste and very filling. Service was great. They were attentive and kept the place clean. The place itself was very cozy with ample, modern, Scandinavian style regular and bar seating. There's a half oval shaped table in the back. A perfect nook for reading or catching up with work on your laptop. They have a library style wall in the back also with books you can peruse. I really love that many of their cups, straws, napkins and lids are compostable. A very stark difference from Starbucks. They also have a water station. Come and try! You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped here to grab coffee and Yuzu sodas before heading to Sushi for early dinner. Blue Bottle Never disappoints. Their quality is always great and service is always very friendly. Great spot for all coffee desires. The cafe is clean quiet and plenty of seating if you want to stay awhile. Parking maybe a bit difficult to find as it's just street parking available.

I've had so many different iced matcha lattes and blue bottle by far has the best one. Good service, friendly staff and a clean establishment. Cant ask for much more!

    Dog treats!

I found myself here because I REALLY needed to take a call. This was the perfect spot because they have both a cozy indoors and a great outdoor patio to either work or hang out. It's pretty spacious inside with clean restrooms. They provide dog treats, a totally adorable touch! I ordered my usual, an iced NoLa, and it was really all I needed. It was a great afternoon kick, and my favorite thing about it is how mild the sweetness is.

I frequent this location because it's very close to my home. For the past 2 1/2 years I have called this place my "home base" for getting my matcha latte. That is until now. I had an affinity with Blue Bottle. My son worked for Blue Bottle in Beverly Hills for 2 years while going through college, as Blue Bottle poached him from another well known coffee brand. My Godson's ex-roommate and good friend also is a manager and has worked at Blue Bottle for years. So you can say I pretty much have become very found of the company just by association alone. Well, today I walk into the same Robertson location to order the same Matcha latte to one of the same workers that has been there since I have been coming to this location. In fact, I believe he is a manager himself. He always treated me and my daughter nice. All the staff does. But these employees today treated me like I was a complete stranger. I ordered my Matcha under the name Denise... remember that...I also ordered a Matcha Mochi Blondie... The Blondie was discontinued for a little while, and I was so glad I it came back! Well...After one bite, I realized it was very chewy from before, so I requested a refund. The manager tried to ration with me that it was always like that...SMH... it wasn't... but ok, I am not going to stand there and argue, but I did tell him it was more of a cake consistency last time they offered the blondie. Nevertheless, I was issued the refund per my request. I then went to sit back down to wait for my Matcha Latte. Fast forward about 5 minutes,, as I saw all the drinks being made I see a matcha latte being sat on the counter. The employee then called out the name "LIZ". I asked if that was for me thinking maybe they made a mistake and it was mine because everyone else already had their drinks. Nope! The barista shook his head no. I was then confused, so I went to the counter to address all the employees. I asked if there was an order for "Denise" giving them a benefit of a doubt that MAYBE they just haven't gotten to my order yet, but NOPE! No order for DENISE. So, I look at the person who took my order and asked if he put my order under LIZ and he confirmed he did...SMH...I told him I am DENISE. How he confused the names were beyond me because I have ordered from this person so many times. He then said that he "just couldn't get it right today". I was clearly taken a back, and someone asked me if I was ok. I replied that I have been coming here for over two years and to get my name wrong and not take responsibility for their mistakes was totally a surprise. A "I am sorry for getting your name wrong" or something like that would have sufficed. But instead I got nothing, but a "Thank you and come again" yelled at me when I walked out the door. And, again, how does Denise sound like Liz????? I expected a company like Starbucks to make that mistake, but never Blue Bottle. Well, moving on (with my money and my right name)!!!

I have been around this area for the past two days exploring while my husband was having surgery at Cedars Sinai. A busy but beautiful neighborhood with many restaurants and coffee shops. This morning I stopped by here to have coffee. What a welcoming staff and spacious coffee shop. I ordered their cold brew with a splash of whole milk which was delicious. I sat outside and enjoyed the warm LA weather. They also have croissants, muffins, cookies and sandwiches. It's a nice spot to have breakfast or lunch. Prices are on the higher side but you are in Beverly Hills after all. The cold brew was $6 and they only have one size.

This place is called Blue Bottle, but it should be called The Slowest Coffee Shop on Robertson. Ordered a latte, and if you only have a 15-minute break, don't order your coffee here--your whole break will be gone. Get it together, guys, not everyone can hang out at a coffee shop for hours. The coffee is delicious, I'll give them that.

One of my favorite SF coffee joints, happy to discover this location! The coffee gives you that buzz that many chains fail to deliver especially in iced beverages. 10/10 iced seasonal Nola with oat milk was excellent. Orange blossom notes in every sip, mild sweetness and can taste the coffee 7/10 corn and scallion scone - To make this from okay to great, I think it needs cheddar and more scallion. But it's huge, filling and unique. Great for those that love corn! I love their hot lattes for those early mornings - will keep you running even if you aren't an early bird. Lots of cool indoor and shaded outdoor seating to chat, take a break or get work done.

My yummy oatmilk mocha with ganache
    Jaydee D.

I have to admit, Blue Bottle introduced me to the yummiest oatmilk beverage! It really is the best alternative to soy and whole milk:) After all, I love mochas and maybe because at BB they serve it with ganache and super rich oatmilk mocha ever! I would prefer to pay $6.50 here due to the fact that it has ganache. There was an incident here with a not so nice clerk so a friend of mine and I order here often, and a mistake was made. So my coworker called the corporate office and it was solved immediately. Now, I gave 4 stars because today was not bad. It had happened last year, now I won't forget the rude service and we ordered probably 4 drinks that day. To me, if you can't handle orders about 4 beverages then I am not sure why you would work out front and can't give proper etiquette on your verbal skills?! SMH?! Well keep up the rich ingredients and keep the friendly people out front.

    New Orleans iced coffee 12oz

What's Blue Bottle Coffee? Is it any good? Is the coffee served in a "blue bottle"? It's a simple, minimalistic, and artisanal fresh coffee spot. Is definitely not your ordinary Starbucks or any fast food coffee place. It's coffee on the higher end of the scale that focuses on the taste, freshness, and quality. Be prepared to pay at least $5+ for a cup of coffee. First time trying this place after seeing some activity on Yelp with people all over town trying Blue Bottle Coffee. I wondered what this place is about and if it's any good. As an avid and frequent coffee drinker in thought of giving this place a try. This location is by West Hollywood on Robertson Blvd. it's next door to The Henry restaurant. There is street parking available, just read the signs. Upon entering the store, it looked really simple and minimalistic. There are tables available if you want to sit and do some work. I just came in to try a cup of coffee. With summer weather I wanted something refreshing and strong with caffeine. The staff there was really nice to go over some menu items. I opted to try the New Orleans 12oz. Flavor wise it reminded of the Cafe du Monde's coffee. It had that nice chicory flavor and refreshing over some sweetness and ice. If you're into artisanal coffee or coffee art on lattes this is a nice place to check out! To answer my question above, no it's not served in a blue bottle. Cheers!

Ask the Community - Blue Bottle Coffee - Robertson

New Orleans with less milk? Is it Berli style?

You can always ask for a New Orleans with less milk and our baristas will know what you mean! In the past some baristas would call a NOLA with less milk a "burly NOLA", though you don't have to order it that way.

Do they serve Matcha Tea Latte?

Hi there, thanks for asking! We don't have a matcha tea latte but we appreciate the feedback that this is something you would be interested in. Thanks again!

This place is so cute that I've driven by it a million times thinking it was a fancy restaurant - not a cute hidden gem coffee shop! This particular shop is incredibly popular and always full but if you're lucky you'll get a seat in their adorable little outdoor area. They have some belly up counter style seats along the sidewalk and also a side garden with a few tables & chairs, plus some cute cushions on the steps for ground seating. Once again, I'm obsessed with the aesthetics at a Verve location. They really seem to focus on rustic wood vibes inside and incorporating nature in a fun way. I always love their flash nitro cold brew here. It's so smooth and refreshing! I also tried their matcha and loved it. Plus their chocolate chip sea salt cookie was money. I'm sure I'll be back to Verve in WeHo! Really enjoyed it yesterday.
