There is a shelf filled with board games and a kids play area (if you have one of those). They have assorted merchandise like coffee beans, plants, mugs, chips & snacks, etc.. There were flyers for all types of events throughout the month. I don't often write reviews I don't even live anywhere near Brea, but I would love to see this business thrive if not expand.

My personal favorite is the Smokin' Spaniard, probably because I'm a sucker for anything made with condensed milk. It's rich, smooth, and just sweet enough without being over the top. On a recent visit, I decided to try their new Pineapple Express. It was a hot day, and I was in the mood for something fruity and refreshing without any caffeine. It was decent - light and refreshing, though it didn't quite stand out as much as their coffee drinks for me. Overall, this is still one of my favorite bakeries and coffee spots. I hope she realizes it and make improvement later. It's a small and hidden Starbucks, that means they must offer better drinks and service to attract customers. The girls who work here are really sweet, and the atmosphere is nice for sipping a drink and playing on the wi-fi, which fortunately does not "time out" after about a half hour as it does at the Panera Bread on the other side of this plaza. She had no one to help her to clean the blenders or anything else that needed cleaning and she looked extremely overwhelmed and upset. And I know me walking in was only adding to her stress. She needed back up and to see that she had no one broke my heart. As someone who has worked in the food industry, this is uncalled for. Give your amazing workers a raise and provide them with the back up they deserve.
