Idk what's up with this particular Starbucks but they have unfulfilling staff. I usually avoid this location because they've always given me a bad experience.. One time they totally forgot my order after I had just ordered/paid. I was standing there waiting and waiting and didn't want to be nagging. So I stayed quiet. Easy location off Beach Blvd. Nice and open inside. Bathrooms require a code to access I like that. Women's had 3 stalls. Men's I think just one. Cashier was super sweet, very nice and helpful. Merch was well stocked as well as the food in the self serve area. My drink was way too pricey. A short with oat milk. Half the sweetener. It was $5.85 omg. This location has a mix of individual tables, group tables, and big long tables for groups or just sitting at the table together with others. There are also bar seats. On the way to Porto's bakery in the morning stopped to grab a vanilla latte for my wife. The folks inside were super nice and greeted me when coming in. The store was not too busy as it was still early in the morning. Chatted a bit with the barista as I am not as familiar with the various cup sizes. She showed me the sizes and I picked one and with in 3-4 minutes had my drink in hand. II had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks. I ordered three items. a water, a cup of ice, a chocolate cookie, and a Dubai matcha. The cashier handed me the first three right away, but I waited a long time for my matcha while four to six customers who arrived after me received their drinks first. When I politely followed up, the barista dismissed me and told me to "wait because they're busy," even though she was making drinks for newer customers. While I continued waiting, I also overheard two employees, one with red/pinkish hair and glasses, and another with short curly black hair and glasses, calling me a "cry baby," which was extremely unprofessional. I had to grab another form of payment from my car (took 6-7 minutes), came back, and my $15 drinks were already melted. I'm just a block away and my friends think it's so cool that I'm within walking distance from a Starbucks. Not only that, this one has a drive-through. Walked there today and the staff was friendly and getting the job done, I didn't have to wait too long. Note that online it states they close at 11pm, but actually their dining room closes at 7pm so people like me that walk there won't be able to order (only drive-through available). Lots of tables and chairs available. I was just thinking that this place would have been perfect for studying when I was in nursing school but then I saw other reviews stating that there weren't any outlets available. read more
