This location has the nicest staff! I drive here instead of a few blocks away from my house because the drinks TASTE better and customer service is so nice, says A LOT since one is just a few blocks away but the staff is rude and always mess up my drinks. I don't understand if people hate there job so much at other locations than QUIT, don't take your bad day out on me SHEEEEEEESH. Anyways so there is always parking on broadway which is nice when I walk in there is always tons of room & the girl always says hi right when someone opens the door and Justin is the SWEETEST and ALWAYS gets my orders correct and I didn't even know there was a tip jar until I saw this one all bedazzled and it says cute things on them which is fun when I have cash lol. Justin also taught me about the point system all these years I coulda gotten free drinks NO ONE told me except him so Im gonna continue to stay at this location since staff is sweet and debes taste so good I suggest the sake to anyone in Burlingame or San Mateo too! read more

I ordered sous vide egg white with red pepper, after waiting for 15 min and asking them where is my order that they told me they ran out and ask me to switch. I switched to the one they have in stock, and it took another 20 min and a couple of asking for them to bring it out. Worst, they just left it on the counter without calling it out! Always a new staff/management which really shows at this store. Always running late on drinks, always out of cold brew, mobile app always shows sold out but if you go into the store they have it, etc. I go to many Starbucks and this one is just really different. For you coffee lovers out there. DO NOT GO TO THIS STARBUCKS. I went late in the afternoon, roughly around 5pm and requested for a tall Blonde. The Barista told me they do not have it available as it is after hours. I asked if she can just make one as a drip and told me that it will cost more to do. So I asked for a regular coffee and charged me $2.50 for a tall which makes no sense because for a Blonde Tall or any house brews should not be that expensive. For a tall Blonde it only cost me $1.85 with a reusable cup. This is what you call a rip off. Any other locations that I've gone too doesn't have an issue with making it as a single drip nor costing me that much. The Barista told me that the reason why it is so high is because it is a store that does not produce enough money. Maybe STARBUCKS should not have this store open if it is not producing enough income. Charging more just so that they can keep up with how much they make in income a month. Such Bullshit. Each Starbucks should all cost the same, not RAISE up the price because they are not making ends meet. read more

I have been frequenting this Starbucks for many years with no issues,when the staff was very professional and dressed in a way that represented what being a true barista was all about. But unfortunately in the last year or two it has become the worst Starbucks I have EVER had the misfortune of entering. The staff there is very lackadaisical and lacking in professionalism.To get a simple coffee could take much longer than expected, and if you want to have a mixed drink made for you, even longer. Last week I ordered a coffee Frappuccino and there were very few customers in the store, (three customers in front of me to be Exact). It took 15 minutes to receive my order which was made incorrectly and subsequently had to be remade. Instead of fast tracking my drink I had to wait behind four orders that had been placed behind me. Just happened that I had looked at the time so I was curious how long it would take. I finally received my drink 21 minutes later. If your looking for a good coffee shop, with a clean atmosphere, a tasty fresh treats and a sign of professionalism, try il piccolo caffe across the street. read more

The only place serving coffee past 5pm on Broadway. It is right next to Mani Pedi Nails salon and perfect for quick frapuccino grabs before girlish treats. They do have wireless charges that could be handy for those of us on a phone all day. It also have some outside seating in a shade that one can enjoy. I would not go here when cafe cappuccino is open across the street but would stop by when it closed. So if you are a fan of Starbucks, check this place read more

This is the third time in a row that I've been disappointed at this Starbucks. I've gotten used to a certain quality at Starbucks which is clearly lacking at this location. The ppl who work here seem inexperienced and do not seem to be able to make drinks according to the order. The only reason I've kept coming back is because it's real close to where I live but I doubt I'll come back again unless I really really need caffeine. read more

I frequent many Starbucks in the area and figured "hey! I have a reward to use, lemme trade it in to have a little pick me up before work." Walking inside smelled like every other starbucks - aromatic, warm, making me excited to have a little morning treat. There was no line and the cashier rung me up quickly and I was on my way to waiting for my drink. However, the cashier misheard my order and thought I wanted a hot drink versus cold. I very politely told the barista that I asked for my drink cold because hey, no big deal right? I'm not going to freak out - it happens. The barista seriously GLARES at me with this nasty look and screams to the cashier "SHE WANTED IT ICED." The cashier promptly yelled back "UM SHE DEFINITELY DID NOT TELL ME ICED. IF SHE TOLD ME ICED THEN IT WOULD BE ICED. SHE NEVER SAID ICED." All while I'm standing there .. baffled because it's 7:45AM and who does that? I've worked as a barista, I know the feeling of picky customers. However if I messed up, I owned it. One doesn't blame it back on the customer. (I'm also not extremely picky; it's just iced black coffee .. unless that makes me picky idk) I don't know what made their mornings so bad, but yelling in front of customers is never acceptable. Especially to really prove to the entire venue that the customer doesn't know what their own order is. Customer service 101. Truly, it wasn't even a big deal until the yelling commenced and everyone just stood there staring at them. I just wanted my iced coffee. Came in today to get an iced white mocha...which was on point except for the cashier guy tall white guy hair tied in a little ball rite on top of his head. As I'm waiting for my drink an elderly man came up and ordered his coffee which all he wanted was a decaf coffee...so the cashier says "2.53" and the little old guy says no its only usually 2 dollars and the cashier says to him "well you gotta say it rite here we don't know what you need until you say it correctly" UMMMM EXCUSE ME!!! He's a an old guy what do you want him to say...ugh it just pissed me off but I kept it cool gave it another 2 min b4 I gave the cashier a piece of my mind on his stupid starbucks language my ass!!! Bigger than most Starbucks but a world apart from the one down on Burlingame ave which is open really late and I caught a couple doing it in the restroom (yes ugh). Maybe not as exciting but it's more of what you'd expect from this chain. Got my iced tea quick and correct, which is what Im aiming for when it's warm outside. read more

If you're a regular, I can see loving this place. I'm not. The staff doesn't seem as friendly as the pen/del Starbucks nor is there ever seating available. Don't get me started on having to crawl over the double strollers just to place an order. (I don't blame the kids of the parents, mind you. It's so tightly packed I feel likes sardine!) I was waiting in an abnormally long line and the baristas started making drinks for the regulars who were behind me instead of doing things in order. This led to a crazy amount of waiting. I live walking distance to this Starbucks so it's my go to coffee please. I HAVE to say this Starbucks has such a friendly stuff. But there is one stand out female in particular, she's extra friendly and goes above and beyond for you! She's great at remembering names and faces even with the masks on. There was one time where I accidentally ordered at another location and she helped me fix it. Another time their mobile order system was glitching and my order wasn't ready (which hey, it happens its technology and out of their control) but she knew I was going to work and she was so sweet she made sure my order was done quickly. And lastly today I was waiting in line to get my mobile order and some jerk just cut in front of me. The girl handing out the drinks didn't see that.. which is totally fine bc I know they are working hard and I wasnt going to say anything anyway... but just when I thought no one noticed here comes this girl to help me and tells me, "Sorry about that".. and hands me my order. I just wanted to let everyone know that this Starbucks is great, also (I'm so sorry I don't know your name) but you are FABULOUS and it doesn't go unnoticed!!! Thank you! read more

I have a reason to really go to a Starbucks now! And it's called the Vanilla Rooibos with soy milk. Add a red velvet cupcake and I'm in heaven. There's easy parking here, ample space to sit down, outdoor patio seating, short lines, pleasant cashier/baristas and pretty much only professionals on their laptops sipping their lattes and browsing their Blackberrys. I am always amazed by how filthy this place is. The trash is always overflowing, littered with debris on the floor. They don't regularly wipe down the tables, etc... The place just feels gross and rundown. There seems to be enough people working there to have someone on a shift regularly do a quick sweep of the place. read more

Great Starbucks on Broadway. It is always busy but the baristas are always efficient. I especially like this starbuck's spacious layout. There's also a really cool tall cocktail table like seating area in the middle. Their WiFi is google starbucks and lightning fast. Great place to get work done on Sundays. read more

This is one of my favorite Starbucks. It happens to be right near my dry cleaner and favorite Supercuts, can't really complain with that! Hardly crowded except in the early mornings which is pretty much typical for any Starbucks. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This place has an oven so it will warm pastries and even has breakfast sandwiches available. *drool* Wireless Internet access and iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store available. read more

Nice Starbucks location on Broadway Street in Burlingame. This is probably the easiet place to pick up a coffee and snack/dessert after lunch on Broadway. The barista here also made the best Unsweetened Iced Coffee (w/Soy Milk) that I've had from Starbucks. There is also covered outdoor seating if you enjoy people watching. Parking is easy to find on a weekday, and it's only $0.50/hour for the meters. read more

This place is on point! I've become such a regular that most of the people know my name and sometimes even have my drink ready before I get to the register. I travel a lot for work and always look forward to coming back to my "home Starbucks." Everyone is always smiling and chatty which brightness my morning. i excitedly got an extra drink here during their buy one get one free event because i wanted to give my free drink to a homeless.. but there wasnt a homeless in sight. WHERE DID THEY GO?!?! anyways my bf got a gingerbread latte here and it was SO watered down tasting. it wasnt very pleasant to drink and he didnt want to drink his drink anymore and was sad that his venti gingerbread latte was a disappointment. since i couldnt find a homeless to give my extra drink to, i just gave him mine, which was a creme brulee latte and made fairly well. i guess i did donate to someone at least... read more

I love this location! First of all these baristas make the best drinks! This place has a kinda of a homy feeling. Almost the same people come here so you kinda get to know everyone there. Sit outside when it's a nice weather and enjoy the people and dogs passing by. There lots of seating here. So just grab your favorite cup of Joe and enjoy it! read more

Typical Starbucks worth 3.5 stars. Big and roomy with outdoor seating is a huge plus for this Starbucks. Employees have all been friendly. No complaints with customer service. Everytime I've come here, my drinks are made very quickly and a majority of the staff are very friendly and polite. I knock off one star for the bearded guy who is a barista and has the personality of a dry waffle with a bite taken from it. Anytime I've gotten his service, he acts like he doesn't give a damn and is way too nonchalant. How about a smile? Of the two Starbucks that I'm aware of in Burlingame, this one is more mellow. It feels larger and more spacious than the one on Burlingame Ave., and it has covered outside seating (much like the one on Irving near 9th Ave. in the city). This is definitely my preferred Burlingame Starbucks if I want to bring a book with and chill with an iced mocha. The one on Burlingame Ave. is definitely better for people watching though. read more

Workers do not greet customer. Workers do not say thank you. Manager is not knowledgeable about their own product. Manager cannot do simple math for return or exchange. No dark roast is brewed after 11am, WTF??? And apparently no toilet paper is provided in the bathroom either. The seating is also weirdly laid out. Mostly an awkward space, they should just combine with the other Starbucks down the street and get a bigger space. read more
