Went to this starbucks location since my regular one was closed. I've always tried avoiding coming to this location since it's in a very busy street and in a small shopping center. Decided to bite the bullet and stop by. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the parking lot was not busy at all, plenty of parking spots to choose from. There was no no line when I walked in. As soon as I got to the counter, I ordered my coffee and waited, maybe no more than 5 minutes, and I was on my way to work. This location is on the smaller side. There are a few tables you can sit at and lounge, but if it gets busy, I can see this location being pretty cramped. Overall, I would definitely start coming to this location. It was not as busy and complicated as I thought it would be and def. Closer to my job. Everyone was super friendly and nice and had no hassle at all. read more

Just your neighborhood starbucks here! Consistent, friendly and on your way to work... or at least for me! It's rare for me to pop in without having my order already completed on the app and waiting upon my arrival. It's never been wrong and someone working always greets, helps me find my order or tells me to have a good day, and never without a smile. My order has never been wrong and is always a pleasant start to my day! Like I said I don't spend much time inside ordering or sitting, but I do like to enjoy their cute little patio during the warmer months to car and people watch at that busy little intersection. It's not the quietest option if you're looking to do some studying or reading, well unless you have your noise canceling headphones. I'd say if it's in route to where you're going, give it a try and hopefully it won't disappoint for you, as it never does for me! read more

This is a smaller location and the majority of their parking is gone due to construction. I overheard staff saying they struggle to find parking. 1st time I had my drink called out before my name. She didnt want to murder it lol. She never made my "lightly sweet chai latte with almond milk" before. She asked her co worker. It tastes different, a little watery. Simply put this Starbucks needs to retrain their baristas! I've had nothing but horribly made drinks from this place. I mean, how can you mess up a simple Carmel iced coffee??? I don't normally go to places that aren't local, but my boss gave me a Starbucks gift card for Christmas, so I stopped in on my way home today. It's a warm, cozy, attractive space, as all Starbucks are, with outside tables, as well. I noticed the exchange between the lady in front of me and the barista as I stood waiting. The lady was obviously a regular, as the barista not only used her name but was also very friendly to her. When I got to the counter, he said he was going to get her started and he'd be right with me, which was pretty much immediately. He didn't bat an eye at my weird order, but did make sure that's what I wanted by communicating. My coffee was ready within seconds. Matt was incredibly friendly, and since this Starbucks is right down the street from my house, I can actually see myself becoming a regular here just because of him. Don't call me a sellout, it hasn't happened yet. read more

So I have to update my review. I come here a lot because it's my local coffee stop. I'm also obsessed with the java chip frapp. I 99% of the time order ahead for pickup. For the most part service is okay. There are times I've been in here and it's not been good, where another customer has gotten bad service, very awkward to witness. They also don't always make my drink correctly. However that's about 10% of the time. One day my drink was finished and i waited 2 minutes for them to put it on the counter. I actually said something. I'm hopeful because I really like Star Bucks. I can always count on them when i'm out and about, especially navigating another city, i can always stop in and get what I need, water, bathroom ect. The retail is very limited here also. read more

I visited this Starbucks just to have somewhere to use my laptop and do some work for a little while. Parking is a bit of a pain. I usually order cappuccino's but on a hot summer day, I really wanted my favorite - a fizzed strawberry acai refresher. Sadly, the fizz machine was down. Instead, I opted for a strawberry green tea infusion. Never had it before. After one taste, I didn't like it. I'm used to sweet drinks. It literally just sat there with condensation growing on the cup from the ice melting. The associate working at the time saw I hadn't been drinking it and asked if I liked it. I told her no, and she offered to re-make it for me and make it sweeter. I thought that was so helpful and I really appreciated her doing that for me. While I still won't order this drink again, after she re-made it, it was definitely better. I do prefer it sweeter. read more

Being my neighborhood Starbucks, I'm a bit partial. Parking is not in their favor, but the front patio is great for one looking to be perfectly perched. There is no drive through, and the interior is rather small, nestled between two other businesses. The staff members are always polite and the wait is usually minimal. As one that prefers local coffee, I like that this Starbucks has a great local feel. It's right on the bridge of the old school Charlotte Chantilly and Elizabeth neighborhoods, offering a great neighborly feel that is very walkable. It is also surrounded by the likes of Sunflour Bakery, Bang Bang Burgers, Hero's Aren't Hard To Find Comics, The Crunkelton, The Stanley, Sandwich Max, Caswell Station, and other local spots that make it feel like it's a part of the one of a kind selections of the neighborhood. But anytime there's a coffeeshop within a hop, skip, and jump of your front door, it's hard not to be a fan. read more

The place is just too small for the amount of people who come for a cup of Joe. The bathroom is a bit scary, but what can you expect?! Coffee makes you GO! The new food company they use is 10000000 times better than the stale old crap they used to serve. Watch out, most days there are a million cab drivers just chilling at this location. It makes for difficult parking and long wait times. The parking lot is FULL of pot holes in the ground. So it's best to not drive the smaller or sport cars here. Your tires will bust! Great place for food, tea, meeting spot in Elizabeth. I think the staff are friendly and efficient and relatively fast in my a.m. commute. The spinach feta wrap is very good. I like their teas. The outside patio is small but has a good view. read more

The Seventh Street Starbucks in Elizabeth is OK, but not anything spectacular. This Starbucks has far too few seats and tables, and is really drafty and cold sometimes. Plus, it really needs outdoor seating. On many occasions, I've met people at Starbucks for a quick business meeting, we've gotten our drinks, then discovered there is nowhere to sit. Then we usually head over to Philosopher's Stone and sit at their outdoor tables until we get mean looks from PStone employees. So then I just started meeting people at PStone or Jacks instead. One major complaint about Starbucks: You have to pay for wireless. I've only caved in once. I was moving and the Internet was already turned off at my old place and every place with free wireless was already closed. read more

I don't often go to Starbucks. I prefer a plain black coffee and don't see the point of paying $4 for it. But this location so very chill and I always meet some really cool people here. Plus its sandwiched between Heroes Aren't Hard To Find Comics and Crisp, which has the best salads. There is great outside sitting and the comic book next door provides something different to read, so if you are killing time this is the perfect place. So yeah, it's a Starbucks and that means you've got your expected beverages in all their tall, grade, and venti glory along with the usual selection of pastries and breakfast sandwiches. For my part, I'm hooked on 180 soy mochas with no whip and Starbucks still sets a standard for me. The first step to recovery is to admit you have an addiction- done. All that said, I'll agree with previous reviews that this location has some pretty limited seating and it's done in a "shotgun style" with a door in the front and a door in the back, with a straight shot through to each. To its credit, the store was very recently remodeled to include some additional bar seating and I quite like the fact I can park in the back lot and get into the store- easy access and easy departure are more than can be said for most local Starbucks locations. For all the wi-fi vampires out there, all Starbucks now have free wi-fi wrapped in an entrainment package that offers music, news, and more. I tried it out and it's not too bad for a portal. Plus, after the welcome splash screen you can surf to where ever you like, all to your heart's content- well, at least as much as 2 hours will get you. Busiest times are weekday mornings from about 7:30 till 8:30- the line can snake all over the front end of the store. However, outside that rush you can usually find a table seat or enjoy a couple of comfy high-backed chairs perfect for reading something and enjoying a beverage. Lots of locals stop in, so it's a good place to chat with the neighbors. If you stop by on a Sunday morning, you can usually find the wife and I thumbing thru the local paper. read more

That being said, I feel a good/bad breakdown is necessary to really give you the picture on this 'Bucks. The good: ~Super comfy orange chairs by the window that are great to plunk down in and, say, write a Yelp review. ~The line can get insane looking but I have never had to wait more than a few minutes. ~Most of the staff are really personable. The bad: ~The parking lot is compartmentalized and really difficult to navigate when full. Also, getting in and out can be a bear & a half. ~Some of the staff are not so personable which is not exactly what I'm looking for when I haven't had my caffeine yet. It's fine. There is nothing horrendously unpleasant about this Starbucks, but it is missing some of the finer touches. The coffee, tea, cakes, etc are all of your standard Starbucks quality, but the store isn't so good. The seating area is small and uncomfortable, unable to accommodate the demand. If you are lucky enough to find a seat it will likely be pressed against the door or the screaming latte machine. Either one is uncomfortable. Coffee shops tend to generate a lot of trash - cups, straws, sugar packets - and when the store is busy I understand that they may not be cleaned up immediately, but there is no excuse for an overflowing trashcan. It must take a whole day of waste to fill it, but every time that I have visited this store the trashcan has been bursting. I have walked out with empty sugar packets in my pocket because there is no space for them. That really isn't acceptable. That said, the staff have always been pleasant and friendly. Yes I am a fan of Starbucks... They are who I always fall back onto, especially being new to the QC and wanting NOT to drive across town to a locally owned store front what with gas so high. I came across this Starbucks as I just had lunch next door at Crisp (which was delightful). I really like the "feel" of this one... it reminds me of the one back home. The staff was pleasant, the locals polite and the area cute! Too bad there isn't a spot outside to sit with your dogs - Crisp has one, but I'd hate to take up their tables. The inside is a bit worn, but that is what I like about this one. AND they have a picture of a Vespa on the wall... how cafe is that. They of course have free wi-fi with tons of outlets to plug into, the downside is the glare. I had to move three times to get a better viewing area. Yes I will come back. read more

Loudest music EVER. WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY do they need to BLAST the music?! This in turn makes this location one of the loudest I have ever been in. As someone who needed a normal coffee shop loudness this was INSANE. The noise is just obscene. But as I'm sitting here, typing away (and obviously not working on what I should be working on), it dawns on me that this particular location (and this particular morning I assume, or I hope, since I don't hoover here regularly), they JAM to jazz. Omg this music is loud! I have nothing against ambience music, but at this volume level I'm officially at a concert without knowing it.
