I thought I had reviewed this location years ago, but apparently not. This is a great location right at the corner of Mason and Lassen. It does get pretty busy in the drive thru as well as walk up, so I would recommend using the app to pre-order your drinks/food so you can just walk in and grab your order. This location looks similar to most other Starbucks locations. Clean inside, a good amount of seating to relax or get some work done and they also have outdoor patio seating. Large parking lot so usually parking is not an issue either. Great spot to get your coffee fix when you're on the go and need a pick me up. Wow! Our last drive-thru visit was excellent. For a long time this location was on the slow side to get orders out. We stopped by on a Wednesday night recently just before closing. It was a hot, muggy night. A refreshing iced tea / lemonade blend sounded like just the thing. Before we could even get the app prepared to score reward when we pulled up to the window, the drink was there for us. That's never happened before! Walk in and I'm greeted by two people. The room is nice and cool. The tables are clean. One customer after another they all get greeted with smiles. The music is very pleasant and relaxing to hear. Good for me and good for the baristas making the drinks. The art on the wall is very good center peace. The brown leather bench, the round wooden tables, the long table are all good choices to enjoy your coffee or tea at. They have a couple places to sit outside but trust me... Three homeless men outside and it smells causing me to not sit in there patio area. I didn't like my iced caramel macchiato. I stopped by this Starbucks today after picking up food for my wife at a place in the same plaza. I wanted my mango Dragonfruit so after I got her food, I walked to this Starbucks. Their drive thru line was busy so good thing I went inside. There was no one in line so I was able to place my order right away. It took like maybe a minute or two for my drink to be ready. It's pretty nice inside and some people were just working in there. They also have a outdoor seating area as well. My drink was delicious and they put less ice like I asked. read more

As I was waiting for my order to be completed, she just didn't close her window like they do at all of the other Starbucks location. DONT go here! Literally walked in with two baristas fixing up drinks that didn't even look at me, greet me, or acknowledge that I was there looking to place an order. There was a worker who was on her break sitting down behind me that k ew I was there and didn't even bother to tell the other idiots to take my order. They are very lax in their training and if they don't fill your order correctly there is no customer service offered to rectify the situation. And when you call and ask for a manager to complain, supposedly there is no manager there no matter what time you call and the person you talk to is suddenly a supervisor, with no supervisory skills! While they seem to be nice in their personality, they were very inefficient and didnt have any sort of system to get the coffe through and food orders correct. There were a number of frustrated people standing around with a family that just asked for a refund because it was taking a bit of time to get their order. This review is for the manager Jake and the Store Manager I was not informed of her name she would not provide me with the details. I have found the worst Starbucks in the West San Fernando Valley. If you want your order to be consistently wrong, rude staff, rushed baristas and horrible customer service this is your place. It is not the customers fault if your employees cannot hear us over the drive thru. Please talk to your regional and district managers and get this issue checked out and while you are at retrain your manager Jake in common protocols in customer service. Learn the difference between the app and reloading a giftcard what a Venti Latte means and what a double shot consists of. Your bathrooms are so dirty and the front ordering area and pickup area are a mess. It makes me sick to look at the area then order food and drinks from such a disgustingly kept place.
