5 stars for the service and the drinks. This Starbucks loses a star for the ghetto crowd. When I walked in there was a group of men just hanging out blocking the doorway and they were gawking and whistling at me. As always, I just ignored them but they didn't move so I had to walk in the middle right through their group just to get to the counter to place my order. I'm sure the employee noticed what was happening to me but I guess he couldn't do anything because they were customers, they had a right to stand there, and what they did to me wasn't illegal so ok. I let it go. But the patio outside also had a bunch of teenage skateboarders yelling profanity and making a bunch of noise. So don't expect to relax and enjoy your coffee. What a shame, too, because the patio was over-looking a beautiful mountainside at sunset but we had to leave because we couldn't stand the skateboarders. Oh well. No big deal. I will not be returning to any more starbucks in this area. We hit it on the way home from Mexico back to the OC but next time we will just wait to get home. read more

I was surprised by this location. It's in the corner of the shopping center right next to one of my favorite Mexican food joints. The few times I've been there, there wasn't much of a line. The staff was really nice and when I got the wrong sized drink, they replaced it immediately. This location is in close proximity to hospitals and health care facilities, so I thought it would be a lot more busier. I'll hit this SB whenever I'm in CV, but be aware that just like Leslie R., there are plenty of noisy teens hanging in the area. read more

This Starbucks does get busy but the baristas try their best to get the drinks out. They make sure to greet you on your way in, they call out your orders, and they will eventually learn your names if you go there enough. It's right across from lolitas taco shop. They also have some nice outdoor seating. read more

This is by far my FAVORITE Starbucks EVER! I look forward to coming here every single time just because the baristas make it even better. This particular Starbucks has one of the best customer service compared to all of the stores I have been to. And trust me, I am very critical when it comes to that. For two years now, I have called this my second home. Studying here almost everyday, I have become friends with all of the baristas. If it was possible, I would have my name stamped onto my favorite table! The baristas are another reason why I love to study here because they make a bad day into a great one. They have watched my journey through school and always gave me words of encouragement to do my best. Not a lot of people do that, but they do. Overtime, I considered them as my Starbucks family. Their customer service is on point. They greet everyone with a smile and are super friendly. If you're not satisfied with your drink, no problem! They will make you another one that you're satisfied with. I see a lot of regulars here and they come here religiously for their daily dose of caffeine. I'm new to the Starbucks app and the mobile orders. I ordered from it and of course went to the wrong store. I came to this location and the person behind the counter asked me to double check my order and that's when I realized i went to the wrong store. I believe his name was Donnie. He was so nice and explained it happened all the time and still made me my order. I really appreciated it! The only thing I noticed that was kind of gross was the overflowing trash can outside in front of the store. There was trash on the floor around it too. read more

I've lived in Sunbow on and off the last 6 years and I mostly dreaded this location for the slow service and less than friendly baristas. Faster, friendlier service goes a long way and I'm happy to see the turn around. This Starbucks has improved a lot (thanks to new management). A lot of the issues in my previous review (11 months ago) are non existent now. No shortage of drink ingredients, no horrendously long drink wait (even during busy times), drink names and customer names being called out, better customer service... yay! Jessica was amazing when taking my order! She was very nice and approachable, even at the end of a long day. I appreciate the fact that she's positive and takes time to have an actual conversation with customers and be human during uncertain times like now. Is this where the homeless come to kick back, I was chilling here for a bit and 2 homeless people (not together, that I know of) were peddling inside the establishment! The place smelt like major BO seems like I was the only one smelling it. One of the homeless was taking a nap inside, they both smelled bad. I had to go outside and chill on the outdoor patio. It is 8:50 pm and the closing time is 10. One of the girls just told me she cannot give me a warm pastry because the oven is closed for cleaning-since when do ovens close more than one hour earlier? This is not the first time I encounter this issue at this location and I am a regular. This place is walking distance from my home and I have dreaded coming into this establishment. This location is always a problem. Subpar customer service and always running out of items. Today was just another one to add to the list. Walk in at 2:09 pm. Before the guy at the register even says hi he says "oh you're lucky you just made it we're about to close" They closed at 3 pm.... :| Then they make my nieces order wrong. She goes to the counter and says excuse me, the girl there is obviously annoyed and says yeah without even looking at her. My niece explains its wrong and asks if they can please remake it. She doesn't apologize or anythIng for the mistake. At which point I interjected to my niece "they got your order wrong you don't need to ask them to make it right" because I was just so annoyed by the attitude and inability to apologize for the mistake, maybe she thought it was ok because my niece is a teenager! They lock the doors at 230 pm where customers inside couldn't even get out. The manager says "if I don't lock it we will never leave " sorry but if you're open until 3 then you have no right to close the doors until 3. If that means a customer comes in at 2:59 guess why you serve them. That's customer service. That's not good customer service that's just customer service. Awful location. read more
