This is one of my favorite drive through Starbucks. I'm generally there around weekday mornings/early afternoons and the wait is either short or nonexistent. The baristas I've come into contact with have been really friendly and attentive. Also I appreciate that this location clears the espresso machine regularly (some locations don't and it makes the espresso taste burnt). It's really close to the freeway and there's a decent amount of parking available. read more

I used to think that the girls here are usually pretty nice and their drinks are a hit and miss... a lot of times the drinks are watered down. And for the girl that helped me at the window (today 6/13/14) and wanted to ARGUE with ME! You need to learn that your customers are RIGHT... especially if you want them to come back. You argued with me about whether or not latte meant hot... well here is the definition... A type of coffee made with espresso and hot steamed milk, milkier than a cappuccino. See where it says its made with HOT STEAMED milk... latte's are NOT cold and even if Starbucks doesn't know the difference doesn't mean you should freaking argue with your customers... you made me late to work! My experience was horrible it took them 15 min to get me a macchiato ther drive thru was slow and to top it off I told the girl I want to use my free coffee rewards. I have been going to this Starbucks for my daily dose of caffeine for years. I like how the baristas get to know you by name and the drink you tend to order. They almost always display a smile and a cheerful attitude. The only criticism I can give is that mobile orders take a bit of a long time because some forget to keep checking the mobile order receipt machine. I'm a gold star member and I LOVE Starbucks but I'll remember to drive around the corner in order to avoid this place. My blonde roast was watered down, lukewarm and they wouldn't even add cream to it citing that to add it would be a "health code violation". Really?! I told the young lady that they've done it for me at all other Starbucks and she informed me that they were all breaking the law. A discussion on which code she was referring to would've ensued if I weren't so annoyed. So whatever... I won't be back. Seriously - should've driven the extra mile or even hit up am/pm. read more

They are the best . The staff is amazing . This my happy place because of it. The manger is such a great person she treats her staff with love and kindness as well as all the customers . when ever I'm feeling down and I come here I'm treated with such warmth and kindness , I instantly feel loved when I walk in . I live a block away so I come in often and when I do even if its busy , I still receive the same level of quality customer service. Most of the staff remember me by name . This is usually my favorite Starbucks to come to but today they had to make me 3 frappuccinos and couldn't get a simple caramel frap right I hope they get it together maybe some people need more training. I saw a girl laughing like it was a joke when I gave them the drink back to make another. The fact that she thought it was funny was really hurtful people pay for what they want they should get what they pay for. read more

I came here to get a strawberry açaí and a couple strawberries were GREEN they were green and brown and just looked nasty so I said nicely " hey the strawberries don't look good they look bad is it ok if I get a new one I'll even pay for it " and they lady said " no they're just dry " and I said are you sure I can't get a new one and she refused and it got me sick. EDIT!! Had a better experience these past couple times. They move up a star! TURN DOWN YOUR COUNTRY MUSIC! IT'S FREAKING LOUD! Alright... you wanna know most people study/order at the Washington Starbucks across the street, even though this the Mount Vernon SB is bigger? From my experience: 1. The staff is less attentive. Multiple times I've seen the staff just talking on their phone behind the register while I'm standing there waiting to be helped. 2. It's fcking cold in here. I dunno why there is an Alaskan draft that hits the bottom of the floor. I'm wearing pants; legs are still freezing. I really want to leave after being in there for 30 mins of studying because I'm about to get frostbite. Really, those two reasons make me not come back to this place very often. So from the outside this place looks a little sketchy because of the area it's in, but it's been remodeled and looks nice on the inside. Plenty of seating area inside and out with a view of the street . Lots of people in here studying or on their laptops, and staff was pleasant. read more

My first visits to this location were not great. But I've returned to check them out and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and more importantly, I was able to get my drinks quickly. Good job guys! On a side note, I'm not a fan of being moved over at the drive thru so that drinks can be given to people behind me. I am all for moving the line along, but it seems as if drinks are being prioritized by level of difficulty. How about turning out drinks in the order in which they are placed? I hope to see this practice minimized! read more

I like this Starbucks, its lager than most.the staff is always so friendly! They greet everyone with smile and a hello. .i often go to use their Free WiFi.. they never trip if you dont purchase something .Its very spacious..one of the biggest Starbucks I've ever been to, with comfy seating. .bathrooms are always clean..which is a very big deal to me. I'm not a coffee drinker but they have this caramel drink I can never think how to order it. .and every time I try ordering it they seem to know what I'm talking about And make it better every time I get it! read more

Its reputation precedes it. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I do enjoy coming here for its chill vibes and refresher drinks in the summer. The mango dragon fruit will not disappoint and is a very pretty color. Just ask for them to be light on the ice for almost all your drinks so you can get more bang for your buck instead of a cup of melted ice. This specific location is a great place for university students to study, but you've got to come early and claim your spot because it's a popular venue to hit the books. For only having a short line during the morning rush the service was ridiculously slow. Mostly due to the cashier chitchating with "friends" who were ordering, while the other people in line were trying to get their drinks and leave. To be honest for a business to run efficiently, take care of your customers first and socialize later when you actually don't have a line. All I wanted was one drink, and waited about 15 minutes in line with only 2 customers ahead of me. read more

This Starbucks is terrible. They get my drink order wrong every single time. I have a simple drink order "venti coffee with light cream and sweetener" and there is always way too much cream and sweetener, none at all, or it's the wrong size! They get it wrong 99% of the time. Starbucks, please train your employees on how to listen to customers. I will no longer come here to purchase the coffee, instead I will be coming here to take my 8am early morning dumps. read more

My favorite Starbucks in the area. Staff is always super friendly and the managers actually try to get to know you, was kind of weird at first but then I realized they were pretty genuine. There's usually always seating available although sometimes you have to wait for a bigger table (if you even need it). They ALWAYS make my drink correctly so that's a plus. The few times they have messed up my friend's orders they happily, and I'll emphasize this since other Starbucks moan and groan that you want them to make your $5+ drink over again, they happily remake your beverage. read more

The coffee is better than the other Starbucks around the corner. The one reason I didn't give five stars is because of one driver thru person that just makes every encounter super uncomfortable. Just consistently, every time. She's nice but it's just very over the top, so much so you can tell it's fake. It makes me cringe. I'm probably just weird, but it bothers me a-lot. Rude. Only thing I can say about this starbucks. Only reason they got 2 stars is because they were able to make my drink within the time frame the online ordering app estimated. First of all, I ordered an iced mocha with no whip. I put no whip as an option when I made my order. Something must be wrong with the app because this is the second time the baristas would not get the no whip part. I kindly asked the lady to just remove the whip cream. I could have asked for a whole new drink because if it isn't made the way I want it, starbucks policy is to make it until I do. The barista at the other location was SUPER nice, offered to make me a new drink, but instead took off the whip with a spoon and changed the top for me. But not the lady at this location! As I attempted to nicely tell her the situation she continued to cut me off and say "it's doesn't say no whip cream" and continued to show me the sticker. She cut me off twice and I just asked her once more to take off the whip. She stared for 3 seconds, removed my cap, continued to use it and a spoon to remove my whip, got my mocha all over my cup, slide/threw the cup at me, and walked away. So I asked her for a new cup. Again, stared at me for 5 seconds and in the worse attitude ever, said of course you may!!!! All in all, rude, terrible service, the mocha sucked, and she wasted more time doing it wrong than if she did it right from the beginning. She seemed to be in a rush but there was a total of 10 people in the store, 5 of which were employees. I will be contacting starbucks next. Don't go here. The baristas at the location 30 seconds away are a million times better and would love to make their customers happy. read more
