This past Sunday, we had a large order (12 drinks and 6 sandwiches). I couldn't believe it was all ready when we arrived and every single item was correct and perfect! I love this location because they are accurate, the food is warmed and the hot drinks are hot! I highly recommend Starbucks on Dobbin Rd in Columbia! read more

I see why this place has such a low rating the manager really needs to do some clean up and create a better structure in this store. A co worker and I placed a grub hub order that was incomplete, because they forgot to include a drink. When we called they weren't very interested in helping and said" well you can come pick it up" . We are located at another business just down the street and they it would have been nice if they sent someone over quickly to drop it off since it was their mistake. Gone are the days of good customer service I guess. I was a Luxury Retail Manager for over 20 years and everyday I am amazed at the low bar set by these companies and their managers. As much as people spend on a cup of Coffee you ought to offer them a smile and some good service. Otherwise you will continue to see your business go downhill, I will not be returning to this location ever. 1 out of 10 Do not recommend. Spend your money somewhere else. And get new management bc your location is a reflection of your Team and their Leader. read more

I used to really like this place been coming for years. Sometimes they wouldn't have straws, other times...they run out of sandwiches and drink flavors. Nothing crazy enough that I would lose sleepover. My last visit my credit card information was stolen and used at other places in Columbia online. I know for sure, one of the cashier's here did it. I haven't used the card in weeks and only visited this Starbucks with said card. I'm extremely angry that someone would go out of their way to do this. The manager I spoke to about this was very helpful but I will not be returning to this location again. read more

Unless you have a car, DO NOT GO TO THIS STARBUCKS!!! I spent Over 5 minutes inside just to be acknowledged. When asking if anyone was going to take my order, everyone looked as if I spoke in a foreign language!! Not a helpful Team, NOT an efficient Starbucks!! Do Not Waste Your Time!! A well deserved low star for this terrible terrible Starbucks. When you put things in my coffee I have asked you not to put in the future, out of spite for not hearing me on your drive through microphone, think that there are consequences to your choices. It was no whip, yes please. When you or unrequited flavor fill of sugar and I am pre diabetic, I really really don't appreciate it, and if you think j can't taste it, you really really take people for assholes. 5/13/2023 Saturday night at 8:55pm. Got incredibly standoffish service. Both the girl with long braids and the boy with the nose ring were really rude and had an attitude. I came in with a smile just to get a coffee and left unhappy. I've come here so much and this was my favorite Starbucks. Usually the service is pretty good. But wow, this was disappointing. Will be frequenting less often. read more

What a mess. 25 min to get coffee. Stacks of orders where they don't turn cups to where you can read names. Had to remake my coffee as I asked for decaf and got caffeine. That took 10 min. This location needs leadership. Get it together. read more

I have been to many Starbucks locations in many different states. Perhaps because I am only here for the holidays and am now accustomed to the overcrowded Starbucks in LA, but this location pleasantly surprised me. The space is fairly clean and spread out, with lots of natural light entering through the numerous windows. There are a variety of seating options, from one communal, to individual circular tables, to chairs for sitting and reading. The people at the register were friendly and helpful with questions I had about the menu. My drink was prepared very quickly and ready, which I also appreciated. read more

Quite slow with only two folks working behind the counter on the drinks and food items at 7:45, but when two more folks started at 8 (back from break?), it went way quicker. Coffee was good and the breakfast sandwich was good. It was just rather slow. read more

I usually love waking up and coming to this Starbucks because its the only one with a drive thru. But this Sunday morning I don't know whether they were short staffed or what but it literally took me over an half an hour to get my coffee. Not only that but by time I got to the window they did not have my order together it was like crazy land in there. I Go to a lot of Starbucks around the area Maryland, around the country as well. This particular Starbucks ranks as one of the worst consistently that I've been to anywhere. From very long wait times, to bad customer service, to mistakes on drinks multiple times in a row, I just don't understand what's going on with this one. read more

My dad and I got coffee here this morning. We've had bad experiences at this location in the past. My dad gets the same drink every time: a grande mocha with no foam; unfortunately, the drink usually comes out with foam, despite the request. Today, however, his drink was executed perfectly. To top it off, the cashier asked us about our weekend plans while we waited for our drink. I didn't catch the names of the cashier nor the barista who did my dad's drink, but thanks for making our day! read more

This location is the worst Starbucks in this area. I ordered a tall flat white and each time if the store manager doesn't make it I get 1 shot. On several occasions I explained to the baristas that a tall flat white contains 2 ristretto shots even to the point of showing them the tall flat white on the menu. If you visit other locations it's common knowledge but they insist on giving me the wrong number of shots. The knowledge portion is not there and I ended up having a shouting match with a manager who was just filing in while the real manger was on vacation. She actually told me no one can make your drink right! I said no you don't know what you're doing. She then asks me if I would like to go outside "to fight". I wouldn't even entertain fighting her because business is not personal and I told her that she wasn't giving me a free drink I pay for it and I want it done right. So if you don't want a watery drink go somewhere else. read more

I don't know why people are saying this Starbucks has horrible customer service. I stop here regularly in the mornings through the drive through to grab something on my commute to work - and they're always so nice, order is always correct - they're fantastic. I got to try a different version of the drink I usually order after asking if I've ever had it. These people are awesome, they make my mornings great! read more

Stopped in at 8:30pm, store closes at 9:30, asked for a Trenta Green Tea. They only had enough for a Venti. They would not make any more. Customer service sucks here. Will not be coming back, especially when they are other options in the area. read more

Absolutely hate to go to this location unless I have no other choice. I'd rather would use the drive thru because that's much faster and the people are nicer. I wait about 20-30 min average if I walk in to grab a drink, and not only that they always miss something to put in OR/ mass up the order. Such unpleasant experience every time, now that it just makes me want to avoid this location as much as I can. read more

Unacceptable - you do not force everybody in the drive-through line to sit for 10 minutes, while you do a pour-over for the incredibly inconsiderate guy in the front. No, you do like every other drive-through in the planet, you ask the guy to pull over so you can serve the other customers OR you tell the jerk that pour-overs are not allowed in the drive-thru because it's RUDE to all the other customers in line. I have been to this Starbucks many times, and they are consistently understaffed, and extremely slow. I'm done, no more. I gave second star only because they didn't mess up our order. read more

Columbia proper is a maze - they designed it to be hard for outsiders to find their way around - no signs visible from the street, stores tucked away up streets on behind berms . . . if you're not from there, bring your GPS. This Starbucks is worth the trouble it will take an outsider to get there. It's very compact with a handful of small tables and a great counter against the window - my favorite spot. There's a deck with outside tables which don't get that much play, at least the times I've been there. The staff is engaging and works well together. Take the time to find this spot if you're in Columbia. read more

This is your typical Starbux... busy, full of people with their laptops who look incredibly busy but are probably just looking at facebook.... There are tons of smokers outside and often there isn't a place to sit after 6 pm on the weekdays. The regular staff is great and remember the drinks of regulars and will ask you about your day. But this summer they hired newbies and all of a sudden the line for coffee was out the door. Thank goodness for the long term employees or this could of been incredibly frustrating.... don't stand between a woman and her caffeine fix! read more

It seems like this change was made to save money, but it really takes away from both the presentation and the quality of the sandwich. For a sandwich that costs $12.95, I would gladly pay a few extra cents for the original packaging if it meant keeping the bread fresh and crusty.

Then again, I'm not a regular drinker of chai latte, and my daughter seemed to enjoy it. So don't count this out. When we ordered the staff gave us a disclaimer the crepe would take about 25 minutes. I didn't mind at the time. It took longer than that; however, I could see the workers constantly working on preparing meals so it didn't bother me. We got the waffle about 25 minutes later so we decided to share both the waffle and crepe. The crepe came out about 20 minutes later. The cafe has a well thought out layout. It has tables on each side, a reading area, and an area with complimentary water next to the coffee/tea station. The little station has water, cups, sugar, napkins and creamer (not pictured because it was packed and constantly occupied). On the other side you'll find more tables, the restrooms, and an ostracized nook that had someone in there occupying the chairs for what seemed like quiet time. Customer service is good. Parking is free in a huge parking lot for the business building. The cafe is located at the front of a shared business building. The menu has a variety of waffles with and without fruit options; crepes made either savory or sweet; and coffee drink options. There is an ice cream bar for scoops of ice cream or milkshakes; and lastly some fruit cups. Overall, I enjoyed the cafe and plan to add it to my list of favorites.

I ordered the avocado toast with eggs, and I swear it was an entire avocado on the bread! It had been sprinkled with just a bit of sea salt, and the bread was a thick, wholesome slice. I also ordered a specialty side order, a lemon blueberry cake of some sort. It is seasonal, apparently, and super decadent, heaped with butter. All good. I was able to pay at the table with my phone, the other option is to go to the counter, diner style. The parking lot had plenty of spaces. The restaurant is in a strip mall setting, with a few other options nearby. The hours are limited, I think I read they close at 2:30, so not a dinner spot.
