6.16.24 This is my first time at this location. It is nearby my home in a busy shopping center that includes a Walmart and Chick-fil-A so is my least favorite location. I came in today because there was a BOGO offer on handcrafted beverages and I couldn't place an order on the mobile app for the other two nearby locations that I frequent, but was able to at this location. I ordered an Iced Caffe Mocha for my hubby and a Blended Strawberry Creme Frappe. The app said it would take 5-7 minutes to prepare, however, it took longer. When I arrived my husband's drink was on the counter; however, it took a few minutes before mine was prepared which was surprising because they weren't that busy. I haven't had the Strawberry Creme before that I can remember and I absolutely loved it. It may just be one of my new favorite drinks! This is my favorite Starbucks location in the region, and I've visited quite a few of them! The interior is roomy and includes comfortable seating. The orders are done very accurately even when they're busy. Best of all, the staff are not only extremely efficient but also super friendly and personable! The staff are top notch and my order is always perfect, but the new paper cups are absolutely terrible. It's the only Starbucks that I've experienced them using these weird textured paper cups at for cold drinks. They also make my drink taste gross. I've tried them several times and I done even like holding them in my hand. I drive the extra 10 minutes to go to another location now. Very disappointing. Rude staff. Staff all have a attitude problem. Place can be dirty at times. One time there was a puddle of water on the floor and there was no wet floor sign. if someone slips the person can sue. read more

This past Sunday, we had a large order (12 drinks and 6 sandwiches). I couldn't believe it was all ready when we arrived and every single item was correct and perfect! I see why this place has such a low rating the manager really needs to do some clean up and create a better structure in this store. A co worker and I placed a grub hub order that was incomplete, because they forgot to include a drink. When we called they weren't very interested in helping and said" well you can come pick it up" . We are located at another business just down the street and they it would have been nice if they sent someone over quickly to drop it off since it was their mistake. Gone are the days of good customer service I guess. I was a Luxury Retail Manager for over 20 years and everyday I am amazed at the low bar set by these companies and their managers. As much as people spend on a cup of Coffee you ought to offer them a smile and some good service. Otherwise you will continue to see your business go downhill, I will not be returning to this location ever. 1 out of 10 Do not recommend. Spend your money somewhere else. I used to really like this place been coming for years. Sometimes they wouldn't have straws, other times...they run out of sandwiches and drink flavors. Nothing crazy enough that I would lose sleepover. My last visit my credit card information was stolen and used at other places in Columbia online. I know for sure, one of the cashier's here did it. I haven't used the card in weeks and only visited this Starbucks with said card. I'm extremely angry that someone would go out of their way to do this. I have been to many Starbucks locations in many different states. Perhaps because I am only here for the holidays and am now accustomed to the overcrowded Starbucks in LA, but this location pleasantly surprised me. The space is fairly clean and spread out, with lots of natural light entering through the numerous windows. There are a variety of seating options, from one communal, to individual circular tables, to chairs for sitting and reading. The people at the register were friendly and helpful with questions I had about the menu. My drink was prepared very quickly and ready, which I also appreciated. read more

I usually love waking up and coming to this Starbucks because its the only one with a drive thru. But this Sunday morning I don't know whether they were short staffed or what but it literally took me over an half an hour to get my coffee. My dad and I got coffee here this morning. We've had bad experiences at this location in the past. My dad gets the same drink every time: a grande mocha with no foam; unfortunately, the drink usually comes out with foam, despite the request. Today, however, his drink was executed perfectly. To top it off, the cashier asked us about our weekend plans while we waited for our drink. I didn't catch the names of the cashier nor the barista who did my dad's drink, but thanks for making our day! read more

This location is the worst Starbucks in this area. I ordered a tall flat white and each time if the store manager doesn't make it I get 1 shot. On several occasions I explained to the baristas that a tall flat white contains 2 ristretto shots even to the point of showing them the tall flat white on the menu. If you visit other locations it's common knowledge but they insist on giving me the wrong number of shots. The knowledge portion is not there and I ended up having a shouting match with a manager who was just filing in while the real manger was on vacation. She actually told me no one can make your drink right! I said no you don't know what you're doing. She then asks me if I would like to go outside "to fight". I wouldn't even entertain fighting her because business is not personal and I told her that she wasn't giving me a free drink I pay for it and I want it done right. I stop here regularly in the mornings through the drive through to grab something on my commute to work - and they're always so nice, order is always correct - they're fantastic. Columbia proper is a maze - they designed it to be hard for outsiders to find their way around - no signs visible from the street, stores tucked away up streets on behind berms . . . if you're not from there, bring your GPS. This Starbucks is worth the trouble it will take an outsider to get there. It's very compact with a handful of small tables and a great counter against the window - my favorite spot. There's a deck with outside tables which don't get that much play, at least the times I've been there. The staff is engaging and works well together. This is your typical Starbux... busy, full of people with their laptops who look incredibly busy but are probably just looking at facebook.... There are tons of smokers outside and often there isn't a place to sit after 6 pm on the weekdays. The regular staff is great and remember the drinks of regulars and will ask you about your day. But this summer they hired newbies and all of a sudden the line for coffee was out the door. Thank goodness for the long term employees or this could of been incredibly frustrating.... don't stand between a woman and her caffeine fix! read more
