Stopped in over the weekend. I needed a pick-me-up since I was in the process of moving. Coffee was calling my name lol I ordered a venti iced coffee with oat milk and double the sweetener. It was delicious. My partner ordered a black coffee, per usual. Oh and I grabbed a cheese danish. Those are so bomb lol Service was great! The staff were very friendly and worked in our order right away. We were in and out within 5 minutes, and back to our move. 10/10 overall for this Starbucks! :)

Placed a mobile order for this location and it was ready to go when I arrived! Baristas were very kind and welcoming. Place was clean! Appreciate it very much!!!

Michelle Freehanded cutest drawing on BOTH drinks!Dont C that kind of attention 2 detail/work ethic these days. Thanks Michelle made ourday!

Michelle is the best with her freehand drawings on every cup!!! You don't see that kind of work ethic/attention to detail these days and it should be acknowledged. It's a shame they don't allow you to tip them.

Michelle's little doodles on the cups are too cute

It's a quick service type of spot, and you see quite a few people studying as well. Starting off, we ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni, the parmesan fries, and the poke bowl, and the cashier at the front was very nice and accommodating with recommendations and questions we had. After we ordered, we sat down and were quickly served with our strawberry lemonade and blueberry mint lemonade, which were both pretty solid a bit on the tart side. Shortly after, we were served with all the dishes we ordered. I was not expecting to like the poke bowl so much, it had tuna, avocado, rice, cucumber and veggies, and the poke was super tasty, great texture and surprisingly fresh. I loved all the textures in the bowl. Into the parmesan truffle fries, they were super hot, very crispy, loved how much parmesan was on top, but I wish it had a little more truffle as some bites tasted more like truffle than the other. It came in a super big, shareable portion which I loved. Lastly the spicy vodka rigatoni, very solid pasta, I liked how it was cooked all dente, not overcooked. Came very hot as well which I loved. It was a solid pasta, but nothing too crazy. Overall the service was great, I love how quick the service was. The ambience was lovely, you can come here to catch up with friends, or have a nice study session, or a cute date spot! The food was solid, but I would say if u come here definitely get the poke bowl! Super delicious and fresh!! Highly recommend you try this spot!

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

The parking however, was VERY filled during this time. The line was huge for a 11:00am on a Friday morning. We were bummed that the QR code was not working on the very cute wooden signage outside the coffee shop while we were in line, which was a bummer. The Honey Oat Latte with oat milk was delicious. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! The outside seating areas in this outdoor area was very cute. Lots of fun art, the directory was creative, the CD tunnel was the coolest part! We also walked over to the breakfast burrito place as well. This seems like a nice area to come and relax and just people watch and enjoy a delicious iced latte from Nook.

Welcoming, hard working and sincerely cheery staff. Plenty of bright window seating to work, chat or read! I was so happy to find a summer favorite in the Yuzu Peach Espresso Tonic. It was beautifully crafted, the yuzu dramatically separated from the espresso and expertly garnished with a slice of dehydrated lime atop the frothy ice cubes. The flavor was a delicate balance which was not too sweet nor too bitter. Oh and they got the mixture of ice to hot espresso and yuzu just right, cool and refreshing! Spot on!

The experience built from their with the friendly staff and excellent service. They first produced the ham cheese jalapeño croissant that was delicate and the jalapeño had just enough pizzazz that it complimented the flaky crust and the ham and cheese were superb. This was followed by their snickerdoodle coffee that is not a surgery standards of other shops but a true artistic masterpiece from the recipe to the presentation. The cinnamon bun was fantastic as it balanced the spices the moist dough and icing that made for a wonderful breakfast.

Checked this spot out since I was staying at the hotel nearby…read more.. What a neat little spot! Can almost call it a hidden gem! Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

I love love love their matcha and actually get my at-home espresso beans here. They are perfectly roasted and the espresso comes out smooth. I also have had their avocado toast. It is so good but I never finish it haha because it is big. Totally worth to try. They have large tables which are perfect to host coworking sessions or just to come and work. I think I've only had like a small instance where the internet got a little slow but other than that this is a pleasant spot to visit. You can also rent a study/conference room from the church. I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Although it is in the same area. The staff is super friendly. The restrooms are always clean. Handicap friendly. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.

I got the honey cinnamon latte, one of their specialty drinks, and it was easily one of the best lattes I've had in a while. The balance of sweetness and cinnamon was perfect without being overpowering. The shop itself is really nice inside with plenty of seating. I could definitely see myself bringing my laptop and spending a few hours studying or working here. The only downside is the parking situation. It wasn't super sweet, though I would've enjoyed it more if it had more flavored syrup and/or a stronger coffee presence. The barista who took my order was chipper and patient. Since straws were apparently behind the counter since they haven't gotten around to restocking the self-service area, I requested one for my iced latte. Those straws weren't individually wrapped, so it grossed me out when the barista handed one to me with her bare hands. It's a cute shop with minimalist, modern vibes. Barely any parking there, so we parked a block away and walked over to its little nook. They also sell a variety of roasted beans, and we liked the Pantan Sinaku Indonesia beans from Dune Coffee Roasters. If I were to come back, I'd try the Shakerato, as it seems to be consistently crowd-pleasing.
