The perfect coffee place to study or hang out with family and friends. Awesome Coffee and Tea's assortments. The Customer Service by the Staff is very excellent and welcoming. Overall: A friendly atmosphere. Very cozy and warm. Beautifully decorated with modern decor and very spacious coffee shop whether inside or outside on the patio. Clean inside and also the restrooms too. I really enjoyed the flavor of Peet's more than some of its larger competitors and this location has friendly staff, healthy food options, and outdoor seating to allow you to really savor your experience . Highly recommended !!!

So I've come in here a couple times due to the convenience of them being where I work. They've never been the warmest of workers... but it is what it is. So I got my drink and I had already gone through basically the entire drink except the whipped cream... but when I was swishing my straw around, I saw something black in the whip. I scooped it up with my straw because I thought maybe it was just coffee bean or something? As I looked closer though, I noticed legs and wings. Grossed out, I got out of my car and walked back in. I had even politely said "it's not a HUGE deal.. but um.. there's a bug in my whipped cream... could I just have a different cup of it?" And they kinda just chuckled and looked at each other as if this was another silly normal occurrence... then they took it and left the bug drink and straw on the counter, and asked if I just wanted a large cup of whipped cream. I kind of expected at least a sorry or something...But I get it because I had basically finished it. The issue here is I feel like this was handled very nonchalant and as if it wasn't a serious thing. It makes me wonder what else they aren't taking seriously. If they had a bug just hanging out in their whipped cream canister I probably shouldn't have taken more. Maybe they're due for a health inspection.

As a Peetnik..,...my annual must stop while in Newport Coast. Nice shopping plaza. Peet's has plenty of outdoor seating and a great spot to relax.

Came here recently and had great service. Came here early in the morning (around 7 AM) and there was absolutely no line at all. Walked right up to the counter and placed my order. The order was correct and came out within a few minutes. Very clean inside and outside seating area. Heaters outside were on, which made it more comfortable to sit outside in the early morning with a thick marine layer. I'll definitely return.

Hands down the best drip coffee out of the chain place in OC. Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Pete's etc. Pete's hands down is the best. Once you have it, there is no way you can drink Starbucks again. I love a large medium roast with a splash of heavy. Sometimes I'll go Americano the same way. I also come by for some fresh roasted single origins to take home from time to time as well. This location is full of old white people, so if you're into the CDM crew it will be your spot, there is a Bristol farms and my fav Gulfstream in the same center. I like to drive across PCH and check the Real Estate vibes in CDM for some dream building.

Upon walking in, the barista was friendly and open to answering any and all questions. Ambiance was also great and fit the name of the cafe and its vibes. For the drinks, we got an iced toffee latte and the kepania, which is their version of a spanish latte. I liked the toffee latte more cause it had bits of toffee in it but I also liked the spanish latte as it tasted lighter than the toffee latte. It gave the drinks more of a balance when I started taking sips from both of them. I do really like how the top layer of the lattes were blue, which gives off a great aesthetic. The only downside for me was that the toffee latte lost a good amount of its flavor after some of the ice melted-- some cafes still have a strong coffee taste even after the ice melts & that's usually what I like as far as preference. As for the sunbliss blend smoothie, it definitely had that taste of the 100% real fruit in it and was a refreshing drink to sip on when I walked at the beach. It's a plus for this cafe for having plenty of options between drinks and bites!

Parking can be a little tricky depending on the day because of street sweeping, so keep that in mind. The café offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is a nice option. There were three of us in our party--my mother, my grandson, and me. My mother ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, I had the California breakfast burrito, and my grandson ordered the Rose Benedict with the hollandaise sauce on the side. The portions were fair and satisfying, leaving everyone happy with their meal. If you're in the Corona del Mar area and looking for a quick breakfast, brunch, or snack, I definitely recommend giving Rose Café & Bakery a try. Salty Horse is an Experience, & I Understand The Appeal…read more I find myself coming back to Salty Horse for the great ambiance and quality drinks. I came shortly after they opened on a Saturday and they had a line as per usual. It's always a crowd here! But, it feels trendy and charming. They have a seasonal menu and a concrete menu. On my two visits, I ordered the Dessert Glaze with whole milk ($7.50) and the Straight from Kyoto ($7.50) with maple walnut milk. Both drinks I ordered were $7.50 and the price doesn't include tax, so I paid ~$8 in total per drink. They don't add too much ice, so you get a good amount. The Dessert Glaze wasn't very memorable, but I really enjoyed their matcha with the maple walnut milk! The taste was similar to a hazelnut creamer, and the drink wasn't too sweet because their matcha is very strong and full-bodied. My friend ordered the Arnold Palmer, and it was kind of watery so I wouldn't recommend their lemonades. The drinks can take a while depending on how busy they are, but whether you can find a table or sit at the bar, there's usually somewhere to sit. The ambiance here is great, with a bathroom, trendy decor, and a community-feel. It has been hot lately, and they don't run AC, however. So, be mindful of that. We didn't try any food, but it honestly looked amazing. Some cafes make you feel a certain way, and I think Salty Horse has that it factor where you want to come bring your friends for brunch or a quick drink. It's simply a nice place to be.
