I truly love that my love Starbucks support local artist and showcases their art on their walls. Always in for a warm croissant that is perfectly buttery. The girls in the morning are so friendly and fast in delivering the coffee goods.

Do not get the Pineapple Passion Fruit Refresher! Terrible taste. Four stars because the rest of the order was delicious and prepared quickly. #DriveThru

I treated my cousin out for an early birthday celebration and we both got a matcha and we shared a sandwich! They have a special drink menu right now and i'll leave that for you guys to go see for yourself ;) The outside is a pretty Barn vibe and there is indoor and outdoor seating! (i recommend the outside area!) we got a number and the workers brought our food to us but for drinks we had go pick up inside after calling out our names The food was amazing and the workers were all friendly! My coworkers and I got together for the summer and one of them suggested this place. It sounded…read moreintriguing so we agreed to go. There are a few things to consider when coming here. Parking. There is a parking lot, but it is tiny and seems like it's always full. Plan on street parking in the vicinity. They are busy (long line out the door) and there are limited seating. You wait in line to order first and the area leading to the counter is tight so people do a u-turn to get back out the way they went in. It was also very muggy this afternoon and they only had a fan running inside so I was sweating so much. It was not a pleasant experience. There's a small bar area to the right and a few tables that are oddly placed behind the nook of the doors. It's got a cute country meets beach city vibe and the decorations inside reflect that. There is more seating outside, but like I said, it's kind of limited. We luckily got a table after about 4-5 minutes, but we were kind of standing near the trash can for a bit trying to figure out what to do. It's a very tiny space/lot and with how popular it is, it's too cramped for me. With all the cyclospora stuff going on, I'm very hesitant to eat out lately and if I do, I stick to all the fried foods. I ended up getting their popular Hawaiian Cowboy Latte (iced) which was good, but the walnut milk was unexpectedly thick/decadent. I normally drink my coffee black or I do cold brew, but it has honey too so it was sweeter. I think it was too much milk for my liking. If I went back, I'd prob try their affogato. That sounded good too. I also ordered the campfire french toast. It was good. In hindsight, the coffee plus the sweet french toast was too much sweet in one sitting. It was still good and I finished it. My other coworkers got an avocado toast and the trojan horse bowl. Those looked good too and they enjoyed it. Overall, it was good and the ambience is nice, but it's overpriced for what it was. The parking and lack of seating is definitely a turn off for me. If there was more room it would be cool, but the layout was not what I had anticipated. It looked bigger in the photos other people had posted. The staff is friendly so that was nice. I'm glad I went and tried it out though.

When you enter, the location is huge! Tons of tables and seating. Nice! People are working, hanging out, and enjoying their food and drinks. I ordered a churro latte half sweet and a deluxe avocado toast. The latte was delicious. Sweetness level was just right for me. I don't like super sweet drinks. The avocado toast was also great. There was so much flavor from the egg and bacon and seasonings. It was a little hard to eat out of the to go container, but I made it work. It could easily be shared depending how hungry you are. I love that I didn't feel rushed here. It seems they expect people to come and hang out for awhile. Can't wait to return! I'm eyeing the biscuit and a matcha next time.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Definitely worth the visit!

After it took quite a while for my order to come out, a staff member finally came outside to inform me that they had actually run out of yuzu. It felt a little disorganized and off that it took so long just to realize they were out of an ingredient. Despite the awkward ordering delay, the overall environment is excellent. Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

This year specifically, I've noticed a couple of things that have made my experience go severely downhill. I've visited about five times, expecting to grab my favorite toast of theirs that I've had for years (Pan Con Tomate) and they have been out consistently back to back of that item. I've literally tried 3 separate times and been told they simply ran out of tomatoes. If it's that inconsistent, I'd hope they'd take it off their menu and post it as a special. But what bothers me the most is that the service is so nonchalant that it comes off as rude. No greeting, smile, positive energy.. giving off a vibe that they'd rather be anywhere else than behind the coffee bar. Sad to see the experience decline as it's been a favorite of mine and somewhere i always have hyped up to friends. Hopefully things pick up.
