I don't understand how this place has bad reviews. We ordered an iced matcha latte, a cannonball, and two cake pops for pickup. When we arrived at the drive-thru, they had unfortunately run out of one of the cake pops. The employee (I didn't catch his name) went above and beyond by giving us two extra cake pops to make up for the inconvenience, which was incredibly kind. Shoutout to him. This is exactly why we enjoy coming to this Starbucks-it's fast, efficient, and the customer service is great. Lonnie delivered a wonderful, positive, and uplifting message, and everyone in the store--from Andrea to T--went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They even hooked me up with a fork since I forgot mine after making my lunch. The customer service was truly outstanding, and the iced tea was perfect. The best part? I really don't understand how this place doesn't have better reviews. The team here was exceptional. I witnessed the staff members getting along and they all seemed to have great synergy. Restrooms were well kept too. I interacted with Christina and Janessa most and they were amazing. The entire team was beyond professional, courteous and kind. Plus they have booth seating and plenty of outlets which are HUGE pluses for me! They were out of my Impossible Breakfast Sandwich so items do sell out quickly. Staff members, watch out! I think I have to say bye to this coffee brand restaurant. I still remember the first time I purchased a coffee in Starbucks was 2005, it's full of warm, I was still a college student and I don't know what coffee I want, they smile and let me know what kind of coffee they have, and may add what toppings for free include whip cream or steam milk. So I am their loyal customer for almost 20 years I still have their membership card include the black one and gold one for collection. I also have their 'treat on us' gift paper and solid gift card (it may in my photo books in my mom house), it was full of my memory with starbucks And now because for health concern I rarely drink coffee. This location is our go-to! So much so, a barista knows my family. People are nice, drinks are usually on point. I'm always here to pick up my white chocolate mocha after dropping off the kids at school. But my drinks have been sh*t lately! I don't know if it's the new faces in the store, new management, whatever. But I've never had this much inconsistency with the same drink happen so often. It's almost like baristas at the Cypress and Grand location came over and started making drinks at this location. I am appalled at the way I was treated this morning. I went in to place an order but needed to use the restroom first I went up to the barista and asked her for the code and she said you need to order first. I informed her that I would however I needed to use the restroom. She said are you sure you're going to order? It was rude and crass and I don't appreciate how Starbucks has changed their policies. I called the general manager and she said that the CEO made those changes two months ago when I contacted corporate they said no they had never heard of that. I asked for light ice for my pregnant wife for a venti brown shaken expresso. Employee said they couldn't do light ice because this was a training store. And this is the recipe for this drink. I said we come here to this specific store and ask for this drink all the time and every other Starbucks I've been too and never get any pushback . Manager got on the intercom and yelled "well we don't here" . I Called Starbucks corporate to ask if this a fact . Corporate said that's incorrect we are allowed to modify the ice at no charge. I am not a fan of this location for several reasons. The drive thru is always a mess with cars not able to get in or out. They have 2 entrances which makes people cutting into the line super easy. I rarely get my drink made correctly and a rarely get a friendly person helping me, especially at the drive thru. Most of the employees seem miserable working here or possibly just stressed. I used to live that they had a sign offering free coffee grounds for composting. Sadly that has gone away. I am always sad at the lack of merchandise at this location. We were winding our way west yesterday and out of beverages in the car. I was looking for a drive-thru Starbucks and was winging it without a Yelp or Maps look up, figuring I'd find one somewhere. I'd also exited the 210 because of slow traffic due to an accident. When I came to Arrow Highway I figured it was large enough to warrant a Starbucks. Almost sailed by this one. The signage wasn't immediate obvious. I ended up coming around in the nearby neighborhoods to get to their driveway. Once in line, I was able to view the options on the menu and pick a refreshing beverage. Apparently, they've changed the name of their java chip frappucino to something else, as there was some back and forth with the cashier about that over the microphone / speaker. The end result was the drink I love, so what's in a name? I didn't go inside, so I don't know about the atmosphere within the walls.
