This Starbucks is the worst. Two barista aren't wearing aprons, and the barista on bar kept touching her hair and kept taking to her other barista, gossiping and drinking their own drinks. The other barista without an apron was spraying restroom cleaner to kill a couple of flies around the bar, while drinks are being made! The spray ended up on the tea pitchers, yet they did nothing about it. It was also spraying onto another customers stuff in the lobby. That is bleach, and should not have any contact with beverages. They even left the bottle on the counter! The lobby is completely trashed, looks like it hasn't been mopped, and trash all over the lobby. Lastly, the baristas acts like they don't even care about working there. They were on their phones, gossiping, not wearing aprons. My drink was made completely wrong. The soy was not chilled nor shaken before pouring into the drink. The person on bar didn't even call out the drink, just left it on bar for customers to guess their drink is ready. After a long day of studying for an exam, I was craving some Starbucks to treat myself before another few hours of more studying. I used Uber Eats to deliver the drinks. Upon receiving my two orders of a Iced White Chocolate Mocha with Caramel Drizzle and Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam, I was completely disappointed. I paid extra for both and there was no sweet cream cold foam AT ALL on both drinks.. which is the best part to me. The caramel drizzle was all at the bottom, which is new to me because at other locations they drizzle it all along the sides and even on top. I guess it was technically in my oAt this location it was all sitting at the bottom. I also ordered it with Almond milk because I'm sensitive to dairy.. I'm hoping they even did it with almond milk. I haven't walking in to a Starbucks in a long time; recently I was on my first business trip in over a year, this location is the one I chose to visit among other "walk-in" Starbucks in the area. Let me tell you it was sad to see, the comfy chairs and barstool gone! They didn't want people to hangout, which is understandable but that's not the Starbucks that I'v grown to love! I've been going to this place for years. Its located in a large grocery/restaurant area so they have tons of parking space. Great service come and goes. I remember years ago when I used to come in here weekly, service was always great. It has kinda diminished as years pass by. The cafe area has been the same throughout the years. I've been coming to this starbucks for over 5 years and the staff has always been great and very quick with the service. Today I placed my order through the app and when I came in they had done the order wrong. Which I completely understand! Mistakes happen! The issue began when I tried getting one of the workers attention. They were talking amongst themselves (which i also understand because i know work can be boring) but i called out more than twice for help and no one even bothered to turn around (Despite the fact they saw us standing there) I had to raise my voice in order to get some help. I wonder what's going on with this Starbucks. The staff is very friendly and helpful but there has not been a single time I did not have to return my coffee for the baristas to remake it. The manager should assess the staff -- it's just frustrating to get basic orders right. When I order a cappuccino it's because I want a cappuccino. Please make it right. One of the best Starbucks I've gone to besides the one on Gellert, except they didn't have strawberry water @ Gellert Starbucks. Mmmm, so good. I hate coffee, so it's the usual mint/mocha/caramel fraps, hot cocoa, and strawberry water which they stopped making! :( I called before me and my boyfriend to make sure they still had strawberry water and the dude was like "we have our strawberry mix and we have water", lol. I was not happy that my spontaneous trip to the Bay was cut so short. I had spent less than 12 hours and needed to go back to Sacramento. I figured coffee would make me feel a little better. Like most Starbucks, this place had a steady flow of traffic. I came earlier on the day so it was still clean. The employees seemed lethargic though, which is whatever as long as I get my cup of Joe. Been here a few times because it's close to my work and friendly people working here. Got lucky today and skipped the crowd before they hit! Everything was fine until I ordered today.
