The last two times I ordered ahead, the app indicated that my order was ready to go (one drink each time) and when I arrived, I had to wait 10+ mins to get my order. Im not sure why this delay keeps occurring but the discrepancy between app and real life needs to be fixed. Additionally, today the outside of my cup was very dirty with coffee and the lid was also dirty/cracked. I had to ask to get this fixed but seeing how messy it was, I couldn't even drink it. I was waiting for my car to get serviced and decided to take their loaner car over to the Starbucks to get some work done. I'm surprised because some Starbucks locations are having issues with their nitro coldbrew and not all of them have it available. Luckily they did so I made a trip over. This location was about 1.7 miles from the Lexus dealership. It conveniently has a drive thru but I was there to sit down and plug my computer in. Luckily it was a large location with tons of seating and lots of electrical outlets. Even though their drive thru was packed with people they were moving the inside and outside line pretty quickly: a testament to their efficiency (which not all Starbucks locations have). I got my usual (nitro cold brew) but also decided to get some sous vide egg bites (bacon and gruyere) which were excellent. Unfortunately, my nitro cold brew wasn't a Starbucks best this time. It was served in a container requiring a straw (boo) and the "fizz" was practically gone when they handed me the cup... usually I get about 2-3 min to drink it and enjoy the nitro aspect. This place is clean, relatively quiet and has indoor and outdoor seating. They have free internet if you log onto the Starbucks website. They have 2 non-gender specific very clean bathrooms as well. Parking is a bit of a pain, but if you are willing to walk a little, you'll find a spot. Not a bad location but they need to work on that Nitro Cold Brew! read more

The voice in the speaker was welcoming and patient. Even though I probably confused the employee because I kept changing my order while I was at the speaker, my order was still correct in the end. When doing starbucks reviews, I focus more on the similarities and differences to other starbucks since Starbucks are mostly universally known and recognized. I have been to this location a few times though and they do a great job. I use to have clinicals at Peachford Hospital when I was in nursing school and I would come here after to do homework. This place had ample space for me to spread out my laptop and books and the drinks were great to get my creative juices flowing. I have sat both outside and inside and it is conveniently located right next to 285 and Perimeter mall with lots of options to get food before or after. PROS - Service, outside seating, right next to lots of good eating places like Takorea and Farm Burger, right next to 285, easy access in and out CONS - Kind of small, parking lot sometimes too busy and can't find a spot, going to starbucks makes you want to eat at farmburger instead :P read more

This Starbucks is rightfully mine. I live right across the street and it is perfectly located for my convenience: on the way for when I have an extra 10 minutes to kill (which is rare) or when I deserve a reward for being on time (which is rarer), but at the same time, enough out of the way that I'm not here 24/7 - well, at least from opening to close. This location is conveniently located in the Georgetown plaza, amidst the rush of Kroger grocery shoppers and restaurant patrons of Goldberg's, Farm Burger and Takorea, to name a few. The interior is small and less homey than others, but it gets the job done. There is outdoor seating which allows a great view of the Kroger parking lot. The service is impeccable. The baristas want to get you in and out just as quickly as you want to get in and out, but will stall you if you don't mind stalling. They are all very nice and friendly, although the Sunday morning barista who mans the cash register seems to have memorized a script, because she is very formal and polite. Great location, quick turn around. Only thing missing is the "third home" atmosphere that Starbucks usually promises. read more

Just my neighborhood Starbucks, which explains the numerous check-ins. No complaints, though I rarely do when it comes to Starbucks. While I love local specialty coffee shops, Starbucks more than satisfies when I don't feel like driving too far. I just recently reached a birth anniversary and being a SBUX Rewards Program participant, I got hooked up with either a drink or food item of my choice, on the house. My usual drink from Starbucks, probably for the last 12 years or something crazy, is the green tea latte. Yeah, say whatever you want, but I freakin' love this drink and will have it till the end of time or whenever Starbucks decides to discontinue making it, which comes later. I got a grande for my birfday and the guy taking my order jokingly gave me a hard time but he kinda made my morning. I like sarcastic people, as long as I know they're not actually trying to be a douche. I crave those petite vanilla bean scones sometimes and while the price as crept up slightly over the years, they're still pretty cheap and the size is perfect if you want just a small sweet something. Or you could get 3 and eat all of those too. Nice service with long lines on weekend mornings. They're doing something right and have been good to get my orders just right. The manager here is pretty nice guy, he tries to learn your name, remember your drink, and chats you up as he rings you up. The inventory is always well stocked and the baristas know what they are doing. The atmosphere is probably the most unpretentious I have encountered at a Starbucks. The crowd ranges from the silver haired to mothers with strollers. Everyone is quick to share a smile with you or offer their place in line. Minor Quip: This goes for all locations. Their pre-made lunches are just terrible. The greens always seem to be wilted or browned. The flavors are off too. The only thing I like is the Protein Box. You can't really go wrong with peanut butter, apples slices, grapes, and cheese. However, this is no fault of the store itself, just the company which provides Starbucks with these Yuckwiches. Parking can be frustrating, as the lot is quite small. I suggest parking around the corner in the Kroger lot and just walking around. I've been stopping by this Starbucks on a regular basis for several months. Now you may wonder why I would stop here instead of going to Goldbergs which is a couple of doors down - but I'm not writing about food (I've rarely ordered any food at a Starbucks - not that I believe it's bad or inferior, only that when I see the round Starbucks sign I'm thinking "COFFEE"). A note about Goldbergs - try the walk-up counter and get the bagel/nova combo with coffee - super inexpensive and great service - just take it outside and eat at one of the curbside tables). Now I'm fairly particular about coffee - I like it hot, strong, rich and full of half-and-half. Otherwise I go for a hot tea or just about anything else. At just about any Starbucks, you can get their bold coffee of the day during morning hours. I stopped at this location on a whim due to I285 being backed up - it's on my morning commute route and heavy traffic entices me to stop once or twice per week (sometimes more, like when school starts and the interstates are all hosed). I've been in good Starbucks and bad ones. This, in my opinion, is an exceptional location that does everything right. The baristas here know their combos, are super efficient and always very polite - now I don't know what it is about coffee houses that the employees think they need to be assholes, especially to the uninitiated, or when exactly that started. I suspect it all began very early in that Pacific-Northwest region where disgruntled ex-pizza house employees started serving up coffee when they got so bad the pizza houses of the world stopped employing them (they brought their attitudes, tattoos and piercing to the coffee trade) - dunno but one of the typical complaints I hear is all about how rude the employees are at similar establishments. THIS location could be a model of good business practice and customer service. The employees are very nice, patient and there to get your order as efficiently as possible. Often when I stop here the line is to the door - they still manage to get me in-and-out in under 5 minutes. it's amazing to see how well this location handles peak hours. Since I've been stopping here, most of those managing the counter have gotten to know my name and my regular order (it helps that I war my company tag with my name exposed when I walk in - it is on the way to work). While you stand in line here you realize that many of the employees know most of those in line - it's like going to "Cheers" and having your order ready almost as fast as you walk up. I don't know about you but I really like that aspect. They also always have a good, positive comment to say to you as your order and pick up. Wow - good customer service, who'd a thunk it? Besides being one of the busiest Starbucks I've seen, I'm also amazed at how clean the place is kept, and that the quality of those sitting about drinking seems to be exceptional - how do I know? You hear snippets of conversation and it isn't the usual blather. This place isn't full of hipsters - I think most are regulars (see many of the same faces), having intelligent conversation. I love this Starbucks! The guys working here are very friendly, respectful and helpful. The place tends to be busy most of the time but the crew working is always on top of it without big delays. I frequent many Starbucks's all over Atlanta and I would have to say that the team here is the best from many aspects not just time wise.. which is still very important. The patio is large with several tables and always clean and in good shape. The inside is not the biggest but still large enough to facilitate a business meeting if necessary. This location is amazing!! I love how they designed this store. The service is slow and its always busy so maybe thats just why they are slow. It is a very clean location and I wish I could visit this location a little more but they are way too busy for a daily visit. When I walked in (which I don't usually do) There was a line almost to the door and it seemed to take 5 minutes to take everyones order and 10 minutes to get everyone their drinks. There was a friendly cashier to take my order and then told me to have a nice day. Then about 10 minutes passed and people behind me started to get their drinks. I started to think that they forgot about my drink or something like that and I said something to them and they snapped at me and it took them another 8 minutes to make my drink. Being that this location is less than 5 minutes from my residence, this store is my primary go to. It's conveniently located off the Chamblee-Dunwoody exit across from the Shell gas station. I typically go to the drive-thru. Service is always quick and the drive thru line is not as long as most Starbucks. The staff is always friendly and I've not had any customer service issues nor any issues with my orders thus far (knock on wood). I've dine inside a few times. Very spacious, clean environment. There's indoor & outdoor seating. Free WiFi is available which is always a plus. The only downfall for this location is parking can be a bit of a hassle. It's located in a very small plaza (next to Kroger) which shares parking spaces with 4 other establishments and its' customers which makes front side parking very limited. There's a parking lot to the left side of the store- a very short walking distance. There's also parking available by the nearby Kroger. Overall I enjoy coming to this location and are always confident I'll leave satisfied. I do highly recommend! read more

This Starbucks location is situated right on the corner of a strip mall, so it doesn't have much of the view. Still, the tall windows are a wonderful addition and offers the feel of additional openness. My favorite section is the bar-style seating along the window. I received a Starbucks promotion saying if I used the mobile app to pre order and pre pay I get bonus stars. I like bonus stars (I already redeemed 4 Fresh Juice drinks retailed at $5.95 from my Fourth of July bonus stars)!!! I ordered a tall Black Mango Tea but when I got to the counter it wasn't available. So they substituted a 20 cent cheaper tea and when I asked about updating the order to reflect they said they already changed my tea and no need to that. (Other than to put back the 20 cents). It's not that I am cheap because people who know me I am a generous lady. My mother is an accountant who taught me it all adds up. She was right, of course. I also used an EnlighTea cup and should have gotten a credit for that, too. The young high school kid working behind the counter is neither knowledgeable nor does he really care --based on how I was treated. (By the way I had patiently waited for my order and there was No one in line behind me---so taking the time to actually void the order and put in the new one with cheaper tea and my own cup brought in would have gotten him a TIP). This is the newest Starbucks in Dunwoody area and it's super upgraded from the location across the parking lot they previously resided in. It's very spacious, comfy and open. This location keeps a line wrapped around the building during weekday morning times. I can literally walk here from my condo and love bringing the baby over when mommy needs a caffeinated break. The main complaint I have with this location is with their inventory. They are constantly running out of common things like, "iced coffee, caramel, coconut milk and other basic things coffee shops tend to keep up to par. I literally scratch my head wondering how this keeps occurring here. Maybe I'm just having the worst luck ever here. If they weren't so close I'd give up on their disappointing stock. read more

This location is solid. My last visit was on a dreary Saturday morning when I needed to meet with someone to work on a group project for my graduate studies. We arrived around 10 am and it was steady but not busy. There was only one person in line ahead of us and plenty of treats in the bakery case to entice us while we waited. I ordered my first pumpkin spice latte of the season! The weather called for it after all. The staff were friendly and made conversation while I ordered and talk about efficient! As soon as I chose a table and set my items down, my drink was done! Warm and tasty with a hint of nutmeg on top, it was definitely a winner. Not more than 15 minutes later the place exploded! Moms and kids, people coming in after their workout, etc. all chose the same time to get their caffeine fix. I was afraid that it would be too much of a commotion to get anything completed. The Starbucks is a bit small and nestled in the corner of the Georgetown shopping center. I shouldn't have doubted! The crew got everyone in and out and on their way in a matter of minutes. I heard lots of pleasantries, thank yous, and saw a few extra tips disappear into their jar. Since moving into the new store, this location is not impressive. The condiment bar had no Sugar in the Raw, no stir sticks, and only one carafe of half and half that was nearly empty, no other milk products. The cinnamon and nutmeg shakers were filled but the chocolate and vanilla only had traces of powder caked in the corners. In addition, service was slow and unexplained. My husband's coffee took more than ten minutes. All of this was after 6:00 pm, not at a morning or lunch rush. This is not the quality of service I expect from Starbucks. Very disappointed. read more
