For those of you who know me...you know I LOVE Starbucks. I start my day with a Starbucks every day and I often times will get another dose of Starbucks in the afternoon. I've driven miles and walked extreme distances to find Starbucks in the past so this review is not geared towards the coffee itself (which I absolutely love)...it's directed towards the employees of this particular Starbucks. (Note - I've had nothing but great experiences from employees in London, Canada, and in the US) This morning, I stopped by this Starbucks location since I was driving to a client off the 134 freeway. This is not my usual Starbucks location. Being a Gold Member, I had a coupon for a free drink (I believe you get a free drink of your choice after the purchase of 15 cups of coffee using the Starbucks Gold card). With the coupon, I asked for a venti iced grande vanilla latte with soy milk (my usual cold drink). I was given a dirty look by the woman behind the counter. It was if I was stealing something from her personally. Whatever - I blew it off. I moved away from the counter and walked towards the barista counter and patiently waited for my drink to be placed on the counter. While I was waiting, I grabbed a sleeve for the cold drink. I got another death glare from the woman behind the counter (a different one from the one that took my order mind you). She threw my drink on the counter without calling out the drink then turned her back on me. No straw...no smile...no thank you come again. I asked for a straw and to no surprise, she threw the straw on the counter without making any eye contact with me. You might think I'm being dramatic, but I'm serious when I say she "threw" the straw on the counter. It gets worse...I'm walking out of the store and I notice that she forgot to put vanilla syrup in my drink. I drink this stuff every single day...I know what it's supposed to taste like. I walk back into the store and I said, "Excuse me...I think you may have forgotten the vanilla syrup". Once again...death glare - she takes the drink from me, throws off the sleeve I put on...and starts pumping vanilla syrup in my drink like she's angry with the pump. She lets out a loud sigh, puts the sleeve back on and puts the drink on the counter. No apology...not even eye contact. Starbucks is a Starbucks no matter where you go. It comes down to the workers and atmosphere and location. This particular one is tight off of 134's Pacific exit. And it has about 5-6 parking spots... Really guys I can count on my fingers! If you go there at a peak time, good luck finding parking on the street or being able to park in Marie Callenders parking lot. Staff is all right, a bit slow and them seem to be always understaffed but hey as long as my latte is made the way I like it, it's all cool. See the problem is in not a big coffee drinker neither Starbucks addict like many others. Their coffee however always tastes burnt... In ANY coffee drink no matter what you mix it with you still taste that over roasted taste. Overall nothing unusual or scary about this place just have fun with the parking :$ read more

This is not a bad location. I usually only pop in for a triple espresso, so the atmosphere isn't crucial to me. There appears to be ample seating both indoors and out, though. The employees are hit or miss. Sometimes they're really cool and personable, and sometimes they could care less. That's pretty much anywhere you go though. However, the major gripe with this place is the parking. Holy Jeebus the parking. I can count on one hand the number of times that I've been able to find a spot without waiting. There are literally 5 or 6 spots, and thats it. Side story on that... I stopped by one day, and of course there was no parking. A guy in a white beamer was already waiting for a spot, and honking his horn like a jackass. I went around him, parked on the street about about 100 yards away, walked back and was unsurprised to find him still waiting angrily. After getting my coffee, I came back out to find that he'd gotten his coveted spot, and after retrieving a gym bag, promptly hopped into a buddies car and drove off. That's right. This asshole fought for a spot at an establishment he wasn't even patronizing. I was a little irked by the audacity, but there are no signs outside stating that parking was for customers either... so what can you do? So, it's pretty much a regular starbucks with terrible, terrible parking. read more

Had to stop and get some coffee on the way to work. Couldn't hear the music from outside as I approached. Still couldn't hear the music inside, and it was very dimly lit. So dim that I couldn't see my hand in front of my face! Friendly staff though. read more

Really friendly people work here, but if you are in a rush for anything this place is not the place for you. For a coffee place you would think employees would be hopped up on some caffeine. Took 10 minutes for a venti pumpkin spice latte with only 2 people in front of me. read more

By far the worst Starbucks in town. Not once will your mobile order be ready when you arrive. Always an excuse about the mobile printer being down. Line is always to the door. No sense of urgency from the staff when it gets busy. Mobile order 15 min prior to arrival and watch the regular customers who are standing in line get their drink 5 minutes sooner than your 15 min ago mobile order. Always a bunch of employees hiding behind the wall chatting while the line grows and grows. Save yourself the trouble and go 1/2 a mile up the street on Stocker. read more

Decent coffee: check! Good location: check! Comfortable environment: check! Parking: ? Acknowledgment: ?? Furnishings: ??? This is probably the only Starbucks that I've been to that finding parking is a must. This store doesn't really have a parking lot. There are maybe five to six parking stalls to the side of the building but there's a high probability that you'd need to go hunt for a spot in the streets. Good for walking off fattening lattes and fraps. Upon arrival, nobody acknowledged or even batted an eye at us. We were standing there and thought the place was closing up. The glass pastry counter was completely bared and cleaned out and baristas behind the counter weren't even talking to each other let alone to us. I had to ask if the place was still opened to even get a response. The interior itself is very spacious. It was a good sized building and it looked even bigger due to the lack of tables, chairs, and sofas... Where's all the furniture?!? ...It looked like people just came in and took all the furniture out to the outdoor seating area since most people were sitting outside. With the lack of interior furniture, the big empty space can be used as a dance floor. You can imagine how quiet this place can get when there's hardly anybody sitting inside. We were lucky enough to get one of the two tables there. However there's plenty of space if you want to sit on the floor. It's one of the more bizarre Starbucks that I've been to but I have to give baristas props for discouraging smokers from smoking too close to the building (there are "no smoking" signs displayed on the windows). read more

Like just about every other review here says, there is hardly any parking around this Starbucks and very little seating inside. There are only a few parking spots up front, which are always taken. You're better off finding parking on the street around the block. And I don't know why there is so much open floor inside there. I only remember seeing a couple tables with chairs, and a couple couches. I swear, when I first saw it I thought they were in the middle of remodeling! The service and drink were okay, although they were putting everything away around 9:00 pm. I actually thought they were closing when I came in, but they didn't close until 10:00 pm. Fast service and great taste of coffee. This location is near to freeway 134 and although the parking spaces are limited but I was lucky enough to find one on time. In case you couldn't find the parking space by store, there is a pharmacy on the other side of street that has a big parking lot. They accept online ordering in this location as well. The morning staff is pretty awesome.! They are very talkative and made me laugh this morning. The only thing I dislike about this location, is the parking! It's so difficult to find parking, I literally have to park like a block away. Lol.. I guess it can be a good thing, a little morning work out before drinking me coffee?! I'm not really exactly sure what the point of having a Starbucks open if there's absolutely no way to patronize it. There are maybe 6-8 parking spots in front of the store which are shared by the neighboring hair salon. I have tried on multiple MULTIPLE occasions to stop in for a cup of coffee on my way to my orthodontist office down the street but due to the fact that there's NEVER parking whatsoever in front (or even around the corner) and that the parking that's in front has no time restriction (ie parking spots designated for 20-30 minute parking only) ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO PATRONIZE THE ESTABLISHMENT!! For example, I witnessed someone get into his vehicle and then just stay parked there sitting in the driver seat. So it's really hard to give any sort of review for a place that's impossible to get to! Limit your parking spaces to 20-30 minutes!! read more

Nice location, doesn't seem to become too crowded (at least during the day) and open 'till late! I give this place 4 stars because parking is a challenge at this location, and maybe that's also good thing to help prevent an overcrowded situation. This Starbucks has become my go-to lately. I really like the way they changed the set-up which allows for more people to sit inside. I come here to grab a cup of coffee and usually study a bit in the mornings. The baristas are all so sociable and genuine, I think they are the main reason why I end up here. The only issue is parking, but there are plenty of spaces down the street or even the Rite Aid parking lot across the street. read more

The staff is very good, attentive and prompt. However, someone needs to clean up the discarded cups, napkins, drink holders, receipts, etc. that accumulate on the ground near the front door (Burchett side). This Starbucks is in a great area, and yes, there is very limited parking, but I would have had no problem parking on a residential street if need be. What was very bizarre about this Starbucks was the lack and SEATING. I say "bizarre" because there was SO much empty space where several tables and chairs would have easily fit. When I went there to meet a friend, there were not a lot of customers there, yet I had to stand for quite a while. Why in the world is this Starbucks not utilizing the space so that customers can sit and enjoy their drinks? Wow, what a concept! Finally, after I had been there a full fifteen minutes, seating opened up. I don't get it. I would NOT choose to visit this location again for the reason I stated. Really bad layout for a Starbucks, this pickup counter is way in the back corner which causes a lot of congestion of people who are in line, waiting for their drink or waiting for the bathroom. Staff is too laid back and will likely forget your order. Better to drive up the street to the Stocker location. read more
