Service is always bad, so expect to wait longer even if you do a mobile order. My sister said that there was only one person making several drinks even though there were about 3 other employees there working. On top of that, the barista messed up on 2 orders, and while making our drinks said that they ran out of whipped cream, ran out of java chips, AND ran out of the ultra caramel??? The hell???? Everyone that works here always seems to be in a good mood, which is a pleasant surprise at 5am when most people would still rather be snuggled in bed. The drinks are made well and quickly too, but if you plan on staying for a little bit, the seating is pretty limited. This is a smaller Starbucks location and I can only give it 3 stars because of the poor parking and limited (in door only) seating. read more

I came to this Starbucks because my friend had a gift card and she needed some stars to become a gold member so she bought drinks for each of us. When we got there there wasn't too long of line. But after a while it started to build up. Turns out the cashier was new and we definitely understood and weren't in much of a rush or anything so I didn't really mind. I'm not much of a coffee drinker so I just ordered a kid's hot chocolate. My drink didn't take too long to recurve. It was a good temperature and tasted great. I wish I asked for no foam but that's okay it wasn't such a big deal. Pretty standard Starbucks in my opinion. I absolutely love this Starbucks location! Yes, the lines are long here in the mornings since it's right by i-880, and yes, it takes a bit longer than usual to get your coffee, but the staff here is fantastic and really make the experience worth it! I use to come here every morning to get my coffee before hopping onto the freeway, and in no time, the staff memorized my drink and also called me by my first name. I also come here to do work when I'm working from home! There's always a seat for me and it's easy to find outlets when you need to power up your computer. Be careful when parking, though. The parking area is narrow and for some reason, its hard to find parking occasionally. read more

Ashley was super kind! I didn't know what I wanted but I wanted to experience Starbucks at its fullest potential! I always thought it was really cool when people made those really long custom orders! Gahhh... Oohh no! I'm reviewing a Starbucks! I've been going to this Starbucks for years when I used to work at a place about 2 miles down the road. The employees are cheery, knows you by name, greets you by name, asks if you want your usual (yes, please!), then proceeds to give it to you perfectly and fast every time. There have been times that I've walked in, paid and my drink is sitting on the bar waiting for me. Whohoo! I still come here fairly often when I'm in the area. Shhh... A friend recommended that I try the green tea iced latte and it looked good so my boyfriend and I tried it. We used a Starbucks giftcard to buy a large and we regretted our decision. There's nothing special about this drink and tastes worse than a matcha green milk tea at any boba place. On top of that, the person at the register was pregnant and cranky. I understand that people can get pretty mean while pregnant but you don't need to be that way when we were trying to be nice to you. She even said "bye" right after we paid and while we were trying to ask a question. By the way there was no one behind us so I don't know why she shooed us away. This Starbucks is nice and quiet, so it's a chill spot to do homework but I still prefer the other one on Industrial Blvd. because I feel like there is less people at that one because of the drive thru. Located conveniently off the Industrial Parkway exit off the hustle & bustle of the Nimitz Freeway (I-880), this cafe serves this South Hayward neighborhood where a small housing area & factories/industrial buildings call the region its home. Even though there is no drive thru at this particular location, the baristas and associates make sure your orders are correct & efficiently made! It can be hectic and busy during the peak hours (early morning, weekends, etc.) - but don't let that deter you from coming in for your Starbucks fix! They offer the same quality, with better service (at this Hayward location, in my opinion) - with their high-quality coffees, hand-crafted espresso beverages, teas, smoothies, in addition to a variety of pastries, pre-packaged snacks, and hot, piping breakfast sandwiches! The last 3 times my order was never made and and upon walking in and waiting in the mobile order area they do not acknowledge you when going up. I'm very disappointed in the service. This SB location is my favorite one. Somewhat secluded, yet busy every time I come in. The baristas are in their game in the espresso business. I have only been to this spot three or four times when I've been down the street getting my car fixed but this location has been pretty awesome. The drinks have been well-made and all the workers provide friendly service. I've sat outside with my dog during all of my visits and customers are pretty friendly as well. The only cons about this place is that the inside is a bit small (I wouldn't be able to come back with my baby in a stroller) and the outside seating is also not very large to share with smokers. This last thing is only a mild complaint: the service can get a bit slow because the workers take time to talk to the customers both out of friendliness and to provide great customer service. So you may have to wait a little in line because they're so nice here! read more

The difference between this Starbucks and other Starbucks is that its kinda-sorta-not-a hidden. Other Starbucks are always busy and this one not so much. Employees here are able to focus more on the customer because they don't have to rush with many orders (seems like it when I always came here) and I can always have a spot at a table. It's quieter here which I like. Parking is very limited, but you can always park on the street next to it since in on a corner. I love this starbucks. read more

Very disappointing! I am visiting from San Diego, and have been in here almost every day this week. The first time I came I waited in line 10 minutes and the line didn't move, so I left without anything. The second time I came, the place was empty I ordered my drink and food and couldn't find a clean table to eat at. Every table needed to be wiped and clean and had trash. The next time I came, they didn't have any bacon bites. They were all frozen, she told me they forgot to take them out. She talked me into the other and white bite. After waiting 10 minutes, I was told they didn't have those either because they were still frozen. The station to prep your coffee was out of brown sugar and both creamers. This location was my favorite Starbucks giving it close to my house. But my experience today says otherwise. I've been ordering the same matcha drink for months. For some reason today, one of the employee (small Asian chick with heavy accent) decided to charge me 3x over the original price. I had told her she made a mistake for the over charge. She kept insisting that the drink was customize tea therefore it should cost more per "company policy". Hmm that's funny because she's the only person in all of Starbucks that does that! First off staff all get five stars service is great reason I'm giving this one star is because of location never any parking it seems like no one in this area knows how to drive very tight and small parking lot yet people fly through it like it's a highway people will hit your vehicle and if your not there to see it oh well your screwed they will block you in and leave the car there while they are inside they park in the handicap and the tow away zones every time I have come here I left with a new dent in my car you can be backing out and people will shoot passed you as if they were trying to cause an accident your head won't explode if you wait two seconds for someone to pull out or in I don't recommend driving in this area at all on foot your a little better off just stay out of the drive way someone is going to get hurt really bad there one of these days read more

I asked for a bagel extra toasted and received a bagel thrown in a bag not cut or even toasted. I also ordered two different egg bites. Under New Management; they need to step it up. The new team is way different from the team that made this store as popular as it is today. They need to get their sense of urgency up and need to be aware that now with mobile ordering people are expecting to have these done ON TIME. We place mobile orders because we have schedules to follow and appointments to get to. Yeah I get it you're busy that's typical for any food drink service. But you need to ask for help "hey I need help with these drinks." I don't usually complain about getting my coffee slow, and if it's slow it's slow. But a triple venti on ice doesn't take long. I mobile ordered at 1:18pm, arrived at the store at 1:24pm still saw my cup sitting there next but the barista was still busy making frappucinos. It's 3 shots of espresso on ICE. I didn't get my drink until I 1:36pm. Why? Let's go industrial store step it up this isn't the first time y'all are slow I've overlooked the other visits but today was just ridiculous had to let he new manager Sasie(?) know her team needs to get on that sense of urgency.
