Isaiah greeted us, as I was looking at pastries my boyfriend ordered his drink "The Chunky Monkey" on their secret menu, which instantly made him irritated. He then asked for the recipe, when we tried to show him on the phone he claimed he couldn't see without his glasses and rolled his eyes. This is by far the WORST Starbucks I've ever been to! The people that work here are very unprofessional and are always gossiping loudly to one another. Once I saw a few of them get into a heated argument while behind the counter where the whole store could hear! The quality of drinks is also very poor. They taste different from the Starbucks "norm" and I have to tweak my orders all the time to get them to taste decent. They also screw up a lot on making drinks and are VERY SLOW on getting orders done. There have been many times when I have had to have my drink remade because it tasted horrible or was missing an ingredient. :( The only reason I have so many check ins here is because I literally live right around the corner from it. I visit a couple different Starbucks, this 1 is close to my work, so I'm here about twice a wk, if not more. My fav drink is a caramel frap, extra caramel, no whip. They RARELY get the extra caramel right. I had vowed not to come back but I changed my drink due to cutting carbs & sugar in my diet. They get my other drinks right. Just moving to the area was a shock when I didn't realize Starbucks was harder to come by out here. Where I used to live we had 4 in our small town! This one is the closest to my house, besides the Target and supermarket ones, which I don't consider actual Starbucks. I like this location because it is small. Usually not too busy, and a great place to get homework done or meet with people. Drink wise, they are pretty fast and make a good drink. No drive thru, but that's okay. Mobile ordering is available of course. The reason I give this place 4 out of 5 is they seem to run out of lunch stuff fast I feel like, probably because it is a smaller store. On top of it, the staff aren't super friendly here. One barista was annoyed I asked her a question about a new drink (I am an avid drinker of Starbucks but I hadn't tried the newest ones yet). They don't really greet you in the nicest tone. Some people who do work there are genuinely nice, but some of the regular staff I see often aren't. Today I heard 2 baristas talking about how easy this job was and were complaining they had to work 7 days in a row. Starbucks is a favorite. I was surprised at first to see this one so empty. But after spending an hour here it became apparent. I saw several people complain or have some small issue with their drinks. And the baristas weren't very speedy. Nice people though. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt however because they were nice to me :-). Location has plenty of seating although SEVERELY lacking on power outlets or places to plug in. Good place to come and grab a drink to go, but if you need power to work or charge up this isn't the place for you. People don't often review chains unless they've had a particularly great or bad experience. I'm sorry to report that this is one of the bad ones. I was hoping to try the pumpkin spice latte today, but whatever I got did not have pumpkin flavor in it. My friend, who has tried that flavor, concurred after taking a sip. Four employees working, I ordered one breakfast sandwich.... I watched as the four people behind me ( there was no one in line when i had ordered) all received their drinks and made comments to me about how they were receiving their items before me. I'm not one to complain about service, so I waited as two other people received their drinks. When I'm normally at a Starbucks, or anywhere for that matter, if an employee notices a costumer standing and wait if they normally ask, "what was it you ordered?" Instead I had to get the ladies attention, all of whom acted way too busy to acknowledge me and made ME feel rude to have asked them. I go to school right across the street from this Starbucks and seeing how much business we give this location it's saddening to hear all of the bad remarks! My favorite Starbucks, although there are locations closer to where I live. Staff has always been very friendly. Easy parking, easy to drive in/out of (sits on busy Warm Springs Rd., but also sits on Julia St., a quiet side street with its own traffic light). Never gets so busy there isn't anywhere to sit. About 9-10 tables inside with two dozen chairs, 3 tables outside with six chairs total. No drive thru, but baristas are fast and friendly and parking is easy, so not really inconvenient. Not too many electrical outlets, but I've never had a problem finding one (I usually visit between 11 am and 5 pm weekdays and weekends). read more

Stopped in to pick up a gift card for my sister. Noticed I had a previous receipt with the survey I had taken that provided me with a free tall drink of my choice. The girl wasn't sure if I could use it at this location since my original receipt was from the one inside of Vons. The manager told her not to worry about it and asked me what size drink I wanted. I of course asked for the biggest one and they didn't hesitate to give me a trenta. Sometimes I feel awkward using coupons to get free stuff as if people are like "oh he must be poor" but times like these put a smile on my face. This place is quick, just like any other Starbucks. Although, I order a hot drink on the mobile app and when I arrive to pick it up it was iced. I did let them know and they fixed it and I went on my way. I decided to give them a second try the next day and the same issue occurred. This was one of the best, most friendly Starbucks I have been to. I'm attending a conference across the street so I have been in twice. The Marks location had a line of 32 cars for drive through on both occasions, so I went to the walk-in on Warm Springs. The gal working the register was so sweet. The first day she offered to help me while browsing. The second day she complimented my wallet and we had a nice conversation. The barista was so friendly, engaging with the customers waiting, I.e. "Megan's is up next, Ron you are on deck." I thought it was a clever way to keep the line in the know about their wait time. Quality of coffee was same as any other Starbucks. Had an iced Skinny Carmel Mach one day and a Hot Vanilla Latte the next day. read more

Visited on 6/15/16 around 3:00pm. So I am a usual at other Starbucks' locations so I'm like, "Eh, why not? How can this Starbucks be any different?" It's really not that different in regards to their drink products. As always, I was very happy with my drink order. I was excited to hear that Starbucks had added cold brew to their menu. This was my second time ordering the 'Vanilla Something Cold Brew.' There are no complaints of the barista that took my order. A little slow for the amount of people in the store at the time, but not a big deal to me. However, I was just put off by the ambiance and the barista (young, African American girl) I encountered. First, its pretty small compared to other Starbucks. Not that size is a big deal to me, but whatever. I'm sitting at a table that is very strategically placed to make it difficult for people to get up if customers were sitting in the adjacent table. I'm not sure that is good for the Feng Shui, but then again, its really not a big deal. Just more of a minute nuisance. A plus is that it is clean and organized. But what irritated me the most about this place is the volume of their "mood music." I have never been to a coffee shop where the music is this loud. I have to project my voice to my friend across me, who is sitting at the same table. I feel the music is this loud for the baristas' enjoyment, instead of creating a calming atmosphere for their customers. I understand that I could move to a different table, but that would require me gathering all my study material that I have laid out and trying to find a table that is actually quieter. I can hear the music over the music of my ear phones and I'm not trying to blow out my ear drums. So why didn't I just ask them to turn down the music, you ask? Well, I did. And let me tell you what happened: I go up to the counter and I ask the barista (this is the young African-American one I described earlier): "Hi! Excuse me, can you please turn the music down?" in a tone that I thought was nice and un-annoyed. She kind of looks at my funny and repeats, "Down?" To which I respond, "Down. Yes, please." Then she continues her odd look and walks away from me to the other side of the counter without responding. I thought this was odd, as I did not give her any attitude and I thought I asked nicely. So loudly, and as if I was treated with respect, I say, "Thank you!" and walk away myself. I heard her mutter a, "You're welcome," but I already turned around from the counter. I go back to my table and hope that they actually would consider my request. Previously working in food service, I know what sometimes happens: they would just ignore it and attribute the request to, "that crazy, bitchy customer." But like I said, I don't believe that I did anything to upset the barista. Anyways. going back to my table, and it seemed like the volume was turned down a smidge. However, that was short lasted. After one song, the volume was just as high as it was before, if not higher. I'm over here, thinking, "Awesome! Thank you so much." My thinking is, if you aren't going to do it, then just tell me, "No," so I can go elsewhere. Its not a big deal, if you are looking at the big picture, I just think its pretty disrespectful. This Starbucks is notorious for being busy, especially since there is no drive thru. There's tons of parking around the building. There's just not enough parking in front. I don't usually mix it up when it comes to my coffee at Starbucks. I always keep it simple with a venti hot or iced Americano and will add cinnamon powder every once in a while. I love Starbucks for their consistency. My Americano always taste the same regardless of which Starbucks I go to. I usually order/pay through my app to skip the long lines. I really can't say anything negative about the staff. I never have to deal with anyone. I just walk in and pick up my coffee. They seem like they just want you to move along . on 2 visists my coffee was terrible how do you mess up a frapuccino? I dont know but they did it... I love Starbucks but I will not go back to this location. I went in at 7:30 at night, the lobby was empty, the employees were cleaning. I walked up to the counter and the girl behind the counter was clearly annoyed that I was there and said, " we close in like 5 minutes ". I was actually shocked. I politely said, " Do you want me to leave? I can go somewhere else..." She said "no" (but still acted annoyed) and took my order. She got it wrong. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or what. I did look on the door and double checked that they closed at 7:30. NO, they don't.
