I would avoid coming here at all costs. For a billion-dollar American company, the lack of standards and ethics is absolutely ridiculous. The Critique:  * False Advertising on Ingredients: Starbucks claims on their website to use high-quality, healthy ingredients, but their food is incredibly expensive and loaded with bad ingredients like hydrogenated oils. It's blatant false advertising to charge these prices for such poor-quality food .  * Ethics and Labor: It is deeply concerning that one of the largest companies in the U.S. has been linked to child labor and forced labor on the farms where they source their coffee beans. They market themselves as "ethical," but recent federal lawsuits tell a completely different story.   * No Military Support: They do not offer any kind of military discount. For a massive American corporation to not provide even a small discount to those who serve is shameful.  * Store Environment: The management lets people loiter and stay in the restaurant for 8 hours a day, effectively turning the cafe into a day center rather than a place for paying customers to enjoy a coffee.  Final Verdict: Between the unethical sourcing, the unhealthy food, and the lack of respect for the military, I will not be spending another dime here. read more

Love this Starbucks! So much space and the atmosphere is fantastic for relaxing and working. Suzi made my coffee and, by far, my experience since I've been visiting Los Angeles and San Diego the last 5 days (traveling back and forth everyday and visiting 30 different Starbucks) this location has topped them all. This is one of the nicer, bigger Starbucks. They have a long, cushioned seating area against the wall as well as two small tables that each have 2 very comfortable cushioned chairs, along with several various sized tables with chairs. Service is friendly and usually prompt. The one time I had to wait a long time, they were apologetic and even offered me a free coffee card for my next visit. read more

I have to give this Starbucks location its credit! They are ALWAYS courteous, friendly, and happy. I love how you pull into the drive thru and they immediately greet you. Drive thru moves fairly quickly. When you get to the window, they greet you again and ask how your day is going. They honestly treat you like they know you... "Hey Bob! Nice to see you, again! Chestnut Praline Latte coming right up!" I love it! I don't know everyone's name, but I've encountered so many staff here, and they are all the same with a genuinely friendly attitude. I have been ordering the new lavender latte since it came out, and this is the first location that actually mixes the coffee and syrup well before they serve it. I got a straw this time because I thought Starbucks doesn't mix the coffee for their customers, but this location actually did! How am I supposed to enjoy my sweetened coffee without a straw if all the syrup is stuck at the bottom? The shop is clean and tidy. The people are friendly and helpful! It's clear that the employees have zero compassion or understanding at this location. I had to stop by this location because my 2 year old had to use the restroom. I understand this location apparently needs you to make a purchase before they give you a code...but she's a 2 year old who can't hold it very long. The employee demanded I wait in a long line to make a purchase before he would give me a code. My 2 year old would not be able to hold it that long and it was pretty clear. Again, it's clear that this employee has no kids, no compassion or understanding. They have lost the human aspect behind customer service. This location would probably be better off just having robots do their jobs. Same results with less attitude. I have been a loyal Starbucks customer for over 2 decades, my wife used to work at Starbucks, and we were both horrified by the treatment we received. This is by far the nicest group of employees at a Starbucks location! Thank you to the patient drive-thru employee as the payment expired on my Starbucks app and I did not have enough change to cover the difference, but gave my order to me anyway. Honestly so disappointed with today's visit, don't know if you guys just hired a new employee that doesn't know what's he's doing or what. But we ordered two drinks, one that's normally 7 dollars (at this same Starbucks) was $9 and the other we had asked for no ice and he only filled it 3/4 the way full??? I've been coming to this location for 2 years and it has become my safe haven. I love all the workers here everyone is attentive to my needs, Maddy, Leo, Ana, Judy, Dylan, Barren, Juan, Micheal, Obi, Ella, Arcy, and especially Kate. Kate is the sweetest when it comes to accommodating my needs, always getting me to try new drinks, and always asking about my day making it a personal connection. There's days I come and don't even order a drink that's how COMFORTABLE I FEEL HERE. They are the sweetest not only me but also my dog and my daughter. This is the cleanest location I've been to, many regulars that have also made it their second home. Food is always hot and ready after ordering, never had a mix up, if my drink was ever made wrong it's always been fixed WITHOUT attitude and with the better foot forward.
